Evil Pea is at it again! This time interrupting the veggies' bath-time with his wily ways!

As chaos ensues, Supertato teams up with Mystic Mango to save the day!

Another great instalment in the Supertato series from Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet.

We loved this latest instalment to the Supertato series - my children particularly enjoyed the character ‘mystic mango’ and loved Supertato’s joke about his biggest fan. Thanks NetGalley for this e-copy.

As my daughter is a huge Sue Hendra fan she was so excited to get this ARC to review.
This is the newest book in the Supertato series and her favourite so far! Evil Pea was up to his usual mischief and this time he caused chaos by adding bubble trouble to the weekly bath!
A great book with all the favourite Supertato characters to have you laughing out loud!

The Evil Pea is at it again! In this one, a quick switch of the bubble liquid turns bubble fun time into absolute chaos. The veggies need to find a solution – quick! With a little help from Mystic Mango, they’ll get the job done in no time…

This was a really fun family read. It followed the typical Supertato formula well: veggies having a good time which is ruined by the dastardly Evil Pea and then the veggies working as a team to solve the problem led by the infamous Supertato. It’s cheerful and colourful and features some fun word play that my husband and I really enjoyed.

While I genuinely enjoyed the story itself, I’m not 100% sure how I feel about the Mystic Mango character. There was something there that felt dangerously close to racial stereotyping which didn’t sit right with me. All in all, this is a fantastic picture book that the whole family can enjoy.

Myself and my two children (4 and 6) absolutely love the Supertato series. They're always full of such silly nonsense, fun and laughter. We read this on World Book Day and my son said it was his favourite book so far this year! Would definitely recommend!

Review to come March 12th to blog/Goodreads/etc.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

I have heard of Supertato before but never had the chance to read it! So when I saw one of the books pop up on Netgalley I knew now was the time to get to start reading the series, starting with this one!

Bathtime (or showertime given that a lot of homes don't have baths here) can be the most fun or the most horrible time ever. I cannot remember what kind of kid I was, but I know during my teens I absolutely loved showering, haha. After that and until now I am a bit mixed. Sometimes I love showering, other times I just want to not do it. Haha. I was curious to read this book and see what bathtime would entail!

Well, it begins all good and nice with tons of fun bubble activities! But then the evil Pea (haha, I loved that the pea was the evil guy) makes a bubbly chaos out of it and the vegetables are all in pure chaos as there is no way out of the bubbles! Confusion! Chaos! Yas! Haha, I really liked seeing the vegetables work together and thinking up all sorts of ideas to get rid of the soap following a visit from a mystic mango. Yes, I am not kidding you. These guys have a mystic mango in their midst and I was just rolling off my chair laughing.

I have to say that, given this takes place in a supermarket.... I was a bit weirded out. I mean I don't want my veggies (and fruits) to be alive. Talk and take baths. And apparently veggies aren't the only ones alive. Um.... OK. I can work with this. I think. Haha. Just let my imagination go and not think about the details. :P

I really liked how things ended! The art was fun and I liked how the food looked. All in all, I definitely want some more of these Supertato books as I am very curious about how he became super! Plus, I got other questions, but as I said don't think about those. XD I would definitely recommend this one. This one is fun for those that love bath/showertime but also may just be a motivation for haters to maybe like baths!

Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet have done it again! A gripping book that kept my children spell bound while they listened to the adventures of the veggies in a supermarket. The formula of good verses evil (in the form of Evil Pea) never tires and they love the collaboration and team work shown by the other veggies. We enjoyed the character Mystic Mango and hope to meet him and Supertato again soon.

Thank you for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A humorous addition to the Supertato series of books where the evil pea is at it again and tries to trap all the vegetables in lots of bubbles while he steals their rubber duck. It is up to Supertato to get rid of the bubbles so that all the vegetables can move freely again. A chilled out mango acts as their guru to guide them to the solution. My children enjoyed this new adventure about Supertato as they really like the series. It is full of fun and vibrant illustrations.

We are already Supertato fans in our house, so of course, we HAD to read the latest book!

The vegetables in the supermarket are having their weekly bath with lots of fun and bubbles but then along comes their nemesis – The Evil Pea! And havoc ensues!

With the help of Mystic Mango and Supertato (plus some scientific facts about surface tension), the vegetables find the solution to their problems and save the day!

Great writing, great illustrations, another brilliant addition to the Supertato series.

A light-hearted, funny, and enjoyable read for little ones who enjoy super-hero and good vs. evil stories!

Thank you NetGalley and Simon and Schuster UK Children’s for the e-arc to review.
