I thought this book was a fun quick read. The storyline was fun and interesting and I liked the main characters. A good read!
I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.
Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.
However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x
Unfortunately I am unable to review as my copy I downloaded has faults, so I won’t leave a bad review for my faults (didn’t notice before it archived)
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion
Patricia meets Bastien at the wedding of her friend. She is a dreamer, passionatr about photography, always taking photos and posting them on Instagram. He is a brooding hero, with scars on his face, cold and rude. But there is chemistry between them. Patricia ends up pretending to be Bastien's fake girlfriend to help him with a business deal and sparks fly.
While reading the book I kept imagining it as a Hallmark adaptation and I think it could work.
As a romance unfortunately, there was no real character development, the plot was weak and the romance rushed. The story is told from Patricia's POV who was a bit annoying, being always in her head and questioning everything.
Wow! Starts a little slow, but just keeps getting better! A fantastic book - really enjoyed the story, and by the middle couldn’t put it down until I saw how it ended! Great read!!!!
When I requested this novel I was into the ideal of reading this novel but I discovered that I was unable to provide feedback on this book due to the series being archived prior to download and file/download issues. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience of not being to review and thank you for taking the time to provide me an ARC of this novel.
This is a light hearted, fast if not a little choppy, read.
I love the enemies to lovers story, and will read them always. This one had a fun spin on how they met and how they came together which I liked. Some of the scenes were choppy to read, and the heroine (Patricia) did push my buttons a couple times. I love a strong heroine, who if she second guesses herself that is okay, but the vibe was off. I would have loved to have a couple chapters with Bastien (Bas) P.O.V. but I still really enjoyed the book and will be telling friends to read this summer.
I was given a free copy to review for my honest opinions through NetGalley.
Attending a wedding Patricia feels alone watching the festivities around her, Talking a walk outside she meet handsome, yet abrupt Bastien who doesn't make a great impression. A chance blind date set up by a friend leads to them meeting again. Although he is carrying quite a few scars both physically and emotionally, As they spend more time together they discover that they have a deeper connection.
A light and easy read, perfect for enjoying whilst relaxing at home or in the garden.
I received A Business Arrangement by Belinda Wright for free in exchange for an honest review. I didn't know what to think going in as I had not read any books by this author before. I highly enjoyed it and was drawn into the story and the characters immediately. It was a very good read (light and fun) that I would recommend to anyone. I am going to look for more books by this author.
This book was ok for me. The writing didn’t flow easily between scenes and was somewhat repetitive. The storyline was good. Would I recommend it to a friend? Probably. Thank you NetGalley and Trubadour Publishing for the chance to read this book.
Sizzling International Romance
This romance has a pretty interesting storyline involving vineyards in both France and Britain. While the reader pretty much knows where the story is going, the road taken is interesting. I usually read clean romantic stories and this is not. If I had known how graphic this story was, I would not have read it at all. I was able to jump past that and the story still held together. Easily the worst thing about the story was the heroine's constant angst and second-guessing the motives of herself and others. I received this ARC book for free from Net Galley and this is my honest review.
This was a cute and fluffy almost rom-com that was somewhat of a satisfying read. I am really starting to hate the theme of friends to lovers as an all encompassing genre to these kinds of books. I like the main two characters This book did not wow me, it was just on the okay-ish side after reading such strong nonfiction and other different fiction books. JMO.

Super cute romantic read about real love. Without being too much of anything this is an enjoyable book.
A quick and easy read.
When Patricia goes to a wedding, she feels lonely as she watches the festivities. She imagines what it would be like to find her future husband there. All of her hopes are dashed at first when she meets Bastien. It's kind of funny how she imagines him to be the prince charming and he turns out to be the rude, irritable beast. But everything is not as it seems.
By chance, Patricia ends up being Bastien's dinner date. She finds out that he's a man who's carrying some scars, both inside and out. Their attraction slowly builds as they spend more and more time together until they realize that they are perfect for each other.
This is a sweet, light-hearted story that doesn't take itself too seriously. I really liked it.
