I am a huge fan of Paige Toon and have read all of her books up to date and I honestly cannot wait to be able to to read this entire book! 3 chapters just isn’t enough! I love that it’s swapping between past and present and already I’m intrigued as to what happened between Leah, George and Theo when they were younger and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Leah’s future!

Getting to read the first 3 chapters of Paige's new book is amazing. As my favourite author I have nothing but praise for her work. I'm already hooked and can't wait to read the rest. I'm already wondering about the connection between Leah and George and what happened to Theo.

I absolutely fell in love with Paige Toon’s writing style after reading The One We Fell in Love With and I went out and bought all her books! Her new releases have always been on pre order, including this one. I can’t wait to read the rest of this and find out more about the characters, particularly George and Theo. I was hooked from the beginning. Amazing as always. I love that there is always a love story but a little bit of mystery and intrigue too....

I have just tortured myself as now I have to wait to read the rest of this book!
So far we have Leah, Theo and George. Unknown what impact George has had on Leah’s life yet, but there is definitely going to be some revelations as the story continues I am sure!
Leah’s parents are foster parents and George is a child they fostered, Theo is the rich kid from up the road. It’s all going to link and I cannot wait to find out how.
Paige Toon never disappoints and I am very much looking forward to reading the rest of this book!

Thank you Simon and Schuster and Netgalley for the preview of Paige Toons new book. As a huge fan Paige's work I was so excited when I saw I had been approved for this ... not going to lie, I was a tad disappointed when I realised it was just a chapter preview .. I must have missed that in my excitement of seeing it and requesting it ... although something is better than nothing so I am not complaining at all!!
These first few chapters had me hooked .. I loved this sample and now am even more excited for the book. I need to know more about Leah, Theo and George!
Paige Toon's writing is just amazing ... I know without a doubt I am going to love this book and this preview has only confirmed what I already knew.
(I will update this review once I have read the full book .. I also plan to re-read and the review all Paige Toons other books)

It is difficult to review a book based on the first couple of chapters especially as it goes between then and now but I feel like this will be a good read, I’m already left wanted to know more as there seems to be a spark and unfinished business between two of the characters. Potentially an emotional but cute read? Absolutely beautiful cover!

Wow the first few chapters I’ve been lucky to read were amazing and left me wanting to know more. Was gutted when I came to the end of the sampler answer couldn’t read on. I love how all of Paige’s books have you hooked from the very beginning. Can’t wait to see what happened with George and who he didn’t find and what happened to the babysitter that night of the party. Looking forward to reading more!

Three chapters of Paige Toon’s ‘Someone I used to know’ and you can already tell you’re going to need the tissue box.
If this sampler is to be a good indication of the rest of the book, the book jumps between fifteen years ago, 3:years previously and present day with a bit of a love triangle between Leah, her foster brother George (for whom she’s clearly had some sort of love affair with) and rich boy neighbour and now husband Theo (whom we’re lead to believe is in jail for drink driving).
Clearly there’s unfinished business between Leah and George. How that fits with Theo in present day we will have to see.
I’m hooked to read the rest. I’ve given this four stars for keeping my attention span on this story and whetting my appetite for more. I will def be getting ahold of the full book.

I'm very excited to read the full version of this book following the same chapter here. A very exciting and intriguing opening three chapters. I'm excited to find out the link between Leah, George, and Theo.

This is the first time I have read a Paige Toon books and I absolutely loved this sample of someone used to know. When I got to chapter 3 I was gutted that was it. Can’t wait to read the whole book. I found the story easy to get into and I really wanted to more about what happens to Leah. The characters where easy to follow and warm to. The story seems to be about love, family and loss. I really enjoyed the sample. Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read it.

I absolutely loved this sampler & can’t wait to read the rest of the book! Thanks for the opportunity to read and review it.

I have read and adore Paige Toon I never read the blurb and just dive straight in.
This was such a tease the first three chapters so many questions need answering I don't think I can wait til June to find out more about Leah and George and oh what happened to Theo.
I know this will be another fantastic read.

An intriguing first couple of chapters to Paige Toon’s latest book! I’m really looking forward to reading the rest of the book to discover what links Leah, Theo and George...... what happened after Leah’s families party, where is Theo and why does George have such a strange effect on Leah? An excellent start.....

I knew before reading Someone I Used To Know I was going to be gripped and not wanting the chapters too end, it is always the case when I read Paige’s books. They entice you in and leave you never wanting the story to end, I Literally yelled NOOOOO! when I got to the end of chapter three. I need to know what is going to happen next? what happened to Theo? why did George break Leah’s heart? why didn’t her parents know anything of their romance? so many questions and I need the answers.
It shows the talent of an author when you have only read three chapters, only just having a glimpse of who the characters are you already have a bond to them, their story tantalizing to you, you are invested in their story.
In the short amount of chapters we get to see Leah as a mother, a wife and as the fifteen year old girl when she first meets George when her parents foster him. Leah meets Theo for the second time on the school bus, the rich boy now at the local school, their previous encounter a couple years earlier was awful, I am left wanting to know how does Leah end up getting together with each of them, two love stories I need to unravel and I have to wait months for it.
The story flips through time from NOW to THEN, it is interesting to go from present to past to see how the characters have evolved to get to todays point in their lives. Seeing Leah and Georges introduction and her reacts to George when she sees him at her fathers funeral she is broken hearted, angry and surprised to see him and I want to know why?
I am already hooked and I’m only three pages in, I can’t wait till the 24th June for its full release so I can jump back into get all the answers to the questions I have.
To fall even more in love with these character’s I can already tell I will become friends with.

Ooh now this has piqued my interest! I would have been quite happy to have read on after this chapter sampler, will definitely read the full book when it is released.

Wow what a taster of 3 chapters. Loved it. Can not wait to get the book. George is important and yoy want to know what happened to her husband. .Roll on June

Okay, when I just saw Paige Toon’s new release on NetGalley my heart skipped a beat. Because she’s one of my most favorite authors. I love reading her stories, and her YA books made me even start reading more YA. And those who know me better, know that I read a lot of YA nowadays.
Unfortunately the request on NetGalley was only for the first three chapters. I was a little disappointed (maybe I should skip the little), but okay, three chapters is more than none. So, I requested, got approved and read the sample within the hour (just skipped cleaning the kitchen after diner). And of course I loved this sample, and I desperately want to know more about Leah, Theo and George! But I have to wait a couple of months (patience is not exactly one of my better qualities). Arghh, I hate teasers! Or is it possible to get a full ARC Simon & Schuster? I would be so, so grateful!! Anyway thanks for this wonderful sample!

You can just tell from the first few chapters that this is going to be another absolute cracker from Paige Toon. I adore her books; they drag you in, emotionally wreck you and put you back together again.

TELL ME MORE.
This was me for the entire three chapters...''No, don't tell me that's going to happen. No! Did he die? No!! Wait...Oh, no, he did! Wait, no that's not him, phew... But hang on... where is he then? What happened to him?! And what the heck is going on with the other guy?''
Three chapters in, and I have a connection with the story. This is a story about big families, about love, and possibly struggling and loss. Second chances perhaps? Moving on? Eager to read more!

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for an early peek into this gorgeous book.
Having had a brief glimpse and read a brief partof this book I can tell it’s going to be another brilliant book with lots of secrets and tissue ready moments.
Cannot wait to read the whole book.
