Really enjoyed this tense and well-written story. Well developed characters and a twisty plot kept me turning the pages. Thanks to publisher and NetGalley for the chance to read this ARC.

This was my first book by this author but it won't be my last! Although it didn't grip me completely - some sections were slower paced than others - I found I didn't want to put it down! I found it slowed down in the middle, whereas the beginning and end parts I sped through! I never guessed the twists at all which is always a good sign since I read a lot of this type of book. Would recommend!

Pacy and brilliantly written domestic thriller, and every parent's worst nightmare.

In a quiet Dublin suburb, Marissa arrives to collect her son from a playdate, but he has vanished.

Marissa and her husband are clearly wealthy but there is no ransom demand. With her so-called friends showing their true colours, a jealous brother-in-law and a hapless business partner, Marissa finds friendship and support in unexpected places, as the truth is eventually revealed.

Loved this! I will definitely seek out additional titles by this author as this book was exactly the kind of thriller I really enjoy. Pacy, exhilarating, short chapters that keep you hooked and with a well-plotted storyline. Five stars.

This book is every parents worst nightmare, arriving to pick up your child from a play date to find that your child was never there and the person you arranged the play date with has no idea what you're talking about.

This book took off at a fast pace and didn't let up until the end. The twists kept coming and I didn't see most of them coming. I thought there were a couple of extra hits for our main character which felt unnecessary but overall this book was brilliant.

Marissa Irvine goes to collect her son Milo from a playdate but the woman answering the door knows nothing about it and the police are soon involved.

Jenny's nanny Carrie is soon identified as the person responsible, but why would this seemingly quiet young woman take a four-year-old boy from his family?

As events escalate, it becomes clear that several people have secrets to hide, resulting in a twisty and suspenseful read.

I enjoyed this book, in particular the way Andrea Mara draws us into the back story of Carrie and Jenny. Jenny has hired Carrie to look after her son Jacob, not realising she has lied about her background and experience.

Jenny, despite it being her nanny that is responsible, is actually a decent person, proven by the way she is determined to help Marissa find her son. That is more than can be said for some of the other parents, who are only too happy to pass judgement on their peers.

As events unfold, more layers are pulled back and the ending is shocking as the real reason for Carrie's actions becomes apparent. The final chapter is the perfect payoff.

I received a free digital ARC of this book via Random House UK, Transworld Publishers, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is a gripping thriller from Andrea Mara, the Irish author who continues to write brilliant books. Having read Hide and Seek and various other books, Mara continues to grip us. This book tells the story of Marissa Irvine who arrives at 14 Tudor Grove, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But when she turns up, the lady that answers the door isn't a mother she recognises. She doesn't have Milo. Where is he? The book lures you in as it tells the story of every mother's worst nightmare. The plotting as usual is superb, the characters are convincing and this is a thriller that is ideal for lying by the pool this summer.

A great twisty read that kept me on the edge of my seat for the evening it took me to read it. Gripping and very enjoyable.

A great read with an enthralling plot full of twists and turns that left me guessing every step of the way. When four-year-old Milo goes missing, a Dublin suburb and families are left to wonder who has taken Marissa's son.

While I love to read, lately work has overwhelmed me and left me with no energy to do anything except crash in the evening. Though this book was complex in places (such as following relationships between some characters), it was a story I could not put down, scarily realistic in how events could have unfolded. I enjoyed the ending but found the overall pacing difficult in some places, so I'm going to give this a solid 4.5 stars (rounded up to 5 for NetGalley) - I really would recommend All Her Fault to fans of psychological thriller mysteries.

Thank you to Andrea Mara, Random House and Netgalley for the copy of this novel.

Great book, gets you hooked from the get go. Full of suspense and twists and turns. The ending was shocking, but if I’m honest a little unbelievable. All in all a good read.

Wow, this boom has been on my netgalley shelf for quite some time so using my annual leave productively I tackled it... I have no idea what took me so long, captivating from the get go with mystery, intrigue and twists aplenty it had me hooked.
Marissa lives every mother's worst nightmare when she turns up to collect her son from a play date to be greeted by an unfamiliar woman who has no clue about the whereabouts of Milo.
The book details the events that unfold both following and before his abduction, everyone is a suspect. I'm usually quite good at playing the guessing hame but I missed the mark with this one, testament to the excellent writing.
A great read thanks to netgalley and the publisher for an advance copy.

When Marissa turns up to pick her young son, Milo, up from a play date he isn’t there. Someone had taken Milo but who and why.
Marissa and her husband, Peter, are broken with the agony but soon secrets start to surface.
This was a really engaging read and I flew through it and I look forward to more books from this author. Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for this arc in exchange for my honest review.

All Her Fault is a dark and multilayered psychological thriller that hooked me from the start with its pretty terrifying premise. The community of parents, especially ‘the coven’ of judgmental women was fascinating and addictive to read about. There were twists galore that took me by surprise and a shocking ending. Overall this was a thoroughly enjoyable read.

2.5 rounded up to 3 star rating - A wealthy Dublin suburb and everything is as you’d expect until the unthinkable happens and a 4 year old child goes missing. So far, so good but then it does get a bit bizarre, more characters and situations which then moves the story into far fetched territory. Good descriptions of the worry and horror by the parents as to what might have happened to the child. One of those books with a great start, bit of a slow middle and a rushed ending. It was intriguing enough to finish albeit with some skimming.
