WOW! The Last Days of Us is a must read.
This story is very well written and the character build up is on point.
The emotional, heartfelt, tragic story line will touch you in the most anguishing of ways.
I am not an emotional reader but this story..................this
story had me sobbing so much I had to stop reading multiple times for awhile just to be able to pick it back up to finish the book.
Amazing read!
The perfect family of four is torn apart on Christmas when JP announces he is leaving his wife Sarah and their two young children, Harry and Robyn. While grieving her marriage and learning to be a single mom, Sarah notices subtle changes in Robyn. Feeling her raging motherly intuition, Sarah takes Robyn for medical testing where they receive the worst news imaginable. Now, JP and Sarah have to learn to work together for the life of their daughter.
Such a tear-jerker! This one really got me. I loved how the story focused mostly on Sarah and her side of things. It was very powerful to watch a mother battle for her child. I also liked that they shared a bit from Harry, it’s great to recognize the siblings struggle too. The only downfall is that it was very repetitive. (ex: “besides the drooping in her face, you’d never know she was sick” “besides her loopy eye, you’d never know she was sick” “I can’t ever tell she’s sick until I notice her face” etc) Overall, I’d definitely recommend this book, 4 stars!
I've since found out the publishing date for this book is my birthday, June 17th! 🎁
I'm not crying, you're crying!
OMG what an absolute belter of an emotional read was this. This was truly a tug at the heartstrings read, I truly couldn't imagine how I'd feel going through something like this. I felt so, so sorry for Sarah, her family were her everything & she had no control over what was happening to it.
Sarah, husband JP & their two young children Harry & Robyn are a loving, happy family it seems...until Christmas day & JP tells her he's leaving her! Struggling to deal with life as a single Mother, Sarah notices changes in her young daughter, after a visit to the hospital, her whole world comes crashing down around her again, when she's told her daughter has an inoperable brain tumour 😪
Many thanks to Netgalley for my ARC in return for my honest review.

An emotional, heartfelt read that you will require a box or two of tissues at your side.
I loved this family journey as they care for four year old Robyn, and try to do their very best to cope and savor memories during Robyn's final days on earth.
It is passionate, and well-detailed.
I felt as though I was there throughout each day as the world changed quickly for the entire family. I could feel their anguish, anger, heartbreak, and love.
The title of this book is perfect as we witness "The Last Days of Us" upon turning each page!
You will definitely fall in love with this family as I did.
