Miss Marple meets Midsomer murders with a bit of Dick Francis thrown in! Not a criticism, I found it an enjoyable read. Interesting well-rounded characters and clues found by gossiping in the village shop. The addition of Harley, a canine character and a couple of donkeys adds to the enjoyment. I am hoping to read the previous novel in this series and any further ones.
