This is a gripping and intense romance that will captivate fans of dark, suspenseful, and emotionally charged stories, particularly those who enjoy complex characters, morally ambiguous themes, and a intriguing cat-and-mouse game between two fiercely independent and passionate protagonists.
She would lie and steal from him and slowly awake his heart with his need to protect her. She would be absolutely helpless against his demands and she would be bound to him forever. Samantha Wilde’s stories are always amazing to read.
This might be the funniest and yet also the saddest story I've read but it's a wild beginning to a new series that I can't wait to finish.
Follow Nash and Lexi as they try to learn to trust each other and bring down the bad guy.

I barely had time to take a breath in this book. The action was packed in to this read, and it was oh so steamy too!
Great first book to the series, a really good start, this had so much going for it, chemistry, plenty of steam, great. Enemies to lovers , or lovers to enemies to lovers. A great read and looking forward to the next
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion
I liked this book, it wasn't as dark as I was expecting though the steamy scenes were written well. I liked the story and the relationship between the main characters,
The book was relatively fast-paced and exciting, I will definitely be reading the upcoming books in the series.
While I was looking forward to a darker read , this story just didn’t hold my attention for the most part. The chemistry and fire that I was looking for didn’t seem to be there as I was expecting unfortunately.
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

I am a BIG dark romance and mafia romance girl and this didn't really do much for me on either front.
I found the characters very hard to get on board with - the development wasn't really there for me. The relationship between the two also was not that interesting as I would be accustomed to, so it was difficult to hold my attention.
I ended up DNF'ing at around 50%.
This wasn't exactly a thrilling read and there seemed too many different players in the game to make it truly enjoyable but I did enjoy the chemistry between the 2 leads. I would probably read another book in this series.
I got to say this but this book is not dark romance. It's a mafia romance book with a bit of trigger warning. Just saying it out there. I like reading mafia romance stories but yet this book did not appeal to me as much. I really did not feel the characters connection or chemistry. I need to feel their pull for each other in order for the book to work.

The first book in this series has Lexi, a reporter looking into a secret organization that killed her family. She was left with a clue from her brother who she thinks is dead as well. The organization sent Nash Holmes after her with orders to kill her after he gets the information back. The problem is she actually gets the upper hand on him more than once and he begins to like her. She does not back down from him or the organization.
Partway through the story, his feelings become real for her and he begins to believe what she is saying but now they are both being hunted and together must work at staying alive. A good story for something that is fast-paced and trembly long. Just when you feel the story should end it does. The characters are all good and it is nice to see a strong woman getting over a guy for a change. A very good book and worth the read.
I have to admit though it hasn’t been a favourite of mine this year it was still a pleasant read and I do enjoy a mafia romance (who doesn’t) I would definitely recommend to a friend the steam was great even though I found the characters a little lacking I still thoroughly enjoyed my read through!
Thank you to netgalley and the publisher.
I love a bad guy that’s sweet for his woman. Violence aside, it was actually really nice. Entertaining and an interesting story. Loved the characters too! I can’t remember if this is my first by this author but it won’t be my last.
The description of this book was what drew me in in the first place. And Samantha Wilde did not disappoint with the characters or the storyline. I was intrigued by the history of this family and needed to know more. I didn't realize that this is part of a series. So I would suggest starting at the beginning of the series. Because there were some references to previous books that confused me.
What a fascinating book. I was impressed by the storyline and the characters were all well written and complex. Where there are complex storylines combined with intriguing characters the reader experience is magnified tremendously. Also the romance was intriguing and the steam level was what I needed at this time. To have a book that is well written as well as entertaining is a delight. Reading is about escaping your world and entering another one. The word building was phenomenal in this book. Here I forgot about my own life and was immersed in the world created by the author. I would recommend this book.
TW: Drugging, violence, trafficking, child trafficking, guns
Alexis is about to do something rash. She needs to find out who killed her family and what’s happened to her brother. She will do about anything to do it. That includes making out with and drugging an employee of the organization she knows is to blame.
Nash can’t believe what just happened. He let a beautiful stranger steal a very important ledger from him that could put the organization he works for in danger.
This was such a cute enemies to lovers novel. It started off strong and hot and kept that same tone throughout. I’m a sucker for bad boy’s soft spot type of love.
I received an ARC of this book on NetGalley in return for an honest review. This review is based on my own thoughts and feelings.
The first book in the Blood Brother, Bound is a promising start to this new series. An engaging story of betrayal, deceit, family, and love. The intimacy is intense and the character interaction engaging I will be looking to read the next book.
Forget "you had me at hello" and replace it with "I knew you were different when you drugged me."
*** I voluntarily received a copy of Bound (Blood Brothers #1 through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. Thank you to NetGalley and the author!***
This is such a satisfying romance. It starts out so steamy and then slows down to allow the reader to really just enjoy the action. And boy! There is action and tension! The characters are given so many moments to argue, fight and then slowly come together that when they both give in it is so satisfying. The sex scenes are top tier. Well written and definitely hot.
This was my first Samantha Wilde novel and it will not be my last! By the end of the novel I was completely in love with her writing. Throughout Bound there are funny moments, serious moments and even stressful moments and she manages encapsulates them all! I did not want to put this book down! Bound is definitely a grittier romance with some heavier themes but in the end it really concentrates on the two characters and their love story together.
TW: The topic of human trafficking (of children) is discussed but not gone into heavy detail.
This was your basic one night stand, girl steals from guy, guy is sent to kill her and reclaim his property but accidentally falls for her. I enjoyed the two main characters but wish just a little more happened in the plot. Things just got resolved a little to quickly for me. I will however be reading book two.
From start to finish it kept me guessing... Some nail biting situations Lexi gets herself into... Nash an enforcer in charge of keeping the clubs ledger safe... But he met his match with Lexi lol....
