This is quite a different take on some of the "new mother" books I've been reading recently. That said though, I did quite enjoy it.

There are some really good techniques, journaling and interesting parts within about sensory awareness. In particular, my favourite techniques were the breathing exercises because as someone who already sucks at breathing when in pain, that's going to be super important!

The different exercises in each trimester was very interesting as I know a lot of apps boast changes relating to different things such as referring to the baby as being as big as a potato etc and I thought that this was a nice way to show what exercise will be introduced each time! Very cool.

With thanks to Netgalley, the publishers and of course the author, it was a nice book and a vey different perspective to view from, I recieved this ARC for FREE in return for my honest opinions.
Thanks very much!

A practical and interesting look at ways to transform your emotional experience and wellbeing during pregnancy and birth. There are lots of useful exercises including breathing, visualisations, sensory awareness and journaling. I like how there are different exercises for each trimester and for after birth, meaning you can keep going back to the book at different stages of your pregnancy. A brilliant book to either read in one go or refer to continuously during your journey. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy of the book in return for my honest feedback.
