After the last few months, the Arnolds feel they deserve a break from the drama that continually nips at their heels. Janie Arnold certainly thinks so, and after throwing caution to the wind and sun cream into her suitcase, she makes the life-altering decision to help her cousin Megan and hopes that it will finally leave her free to live her own life. Whilst on holiday in Lanzarote, she meets Adam, a boat builder from back home in Wales, and Alison, another holiday maker from Derbyshire. Finally, life is starting to look up.
Meanwhile, not content to let sleeping family members lie, Elsie is still trying to cause mischief for the family she abandoned. Only this time, Harry has no intention of letting Elsie tear his family apart again, even when she sends James to his door to deliver some shocking home truths.
Across the globe, Derek Collins can’t settle into life in Australia. With Elsie too much on his mind, he decides to make his way back to England. He soon stumbles across Bryony Moore who’s looking for revenge on the Arnolds for the death of her father. Unable to stand for that, Derek soon hatches a plot to help protect the Arnolds, despite the danger to himself.
The Arnolds look like they’re getting their happy ever after, with weddings and births, but fate once again steps in. Another car crash, at the same time, on the same day, has horrific consequences for the Arnold family. Can they yet again rally around or has fate an even deadlier hand to play? This is a brilliant read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.
