Didn’t realise this was the third in the series when I first requested so my fault, but I’m definitely going to read the first two as what I did read was really good and interesting

I'm not certain if I was aware this is the third book in a series when I picked it up, I likely read it contained vampires and couldn't resist - although, I'm not sure.

I quite often will purchase the second book in a series and enjoy it immensely, even when I haven't read the first.

Unfortunately, being the third, I really struggled to bond with Mariah and Miguel because their journeys have progressed so far and I've missed too much. This is my fault.

I definitely recommend reading this if you read and enjoyed the first two! It's well written, has an interesting world and who doesn't love vampires?

I used to be obsessed with vampire books as a teen so I thought I would give this one a try but I think I’m out of my vampire phase. Still a good read just not for me
