This had a great concept and premise but to me, the execution just didn't follow through. I couldn't connect with any of the characters and the plot just felt one-dimensional and dragged out. I really wanted to like it more than I did.

LOVED this properly pacy MG sci fi thriller. It's packed with action and the most brilliant cast of characters, including a fabulous girl gamer who discovers what it is to be a leader. I was so excited about this trilogy and Book 1 did NOT disappoint. I'm going to need them ALL and I'm going to be telling everyone about SkyWake: Invasion. And I mean everyone.

I’m a gamer at heart and lately I’ve tried to read more books with the gaming theme. So I got real excited when I found SkyWake. The cover is so awesome that I was drawn to the book at first sight. The story about Casey and her Reapers was just as good as I imagined it would be. Filled with action that drives the story forward. Just FYI: This book ends with a cliffhanger. Great start to the series and I can’t wait for the next book.

I already can't wait to find out what happens next! Fingers crossed there is a sequel. SkyWake Invasion was so exciting - the story was such an interesting way of combining gaming with reality.
