This book is full of suspense and drama as it explores what somebody may be capable of if pushed too it, at some points the suspense was almost too much and I just needed to know what was going to happen. There were some bits I was able to work out, and many I didn’t expect! I did enjoy that it kept me guessing though and I couldn’t put the book down!

This was my first novel by this author and it won't be my last!
So gripping, pretty much every chapter is a cliffhanger and I loved how the chapters were short, some only a few sentences, it really gave a sense of urgency and I wanted to keep reading.
Amazing storyline, didn't guess any of the twists, fabulous book!!

The book is centred around the Walsh family that has experienced it’s fair share of tragedy over the years and is seemingly falling apart. The story is told from the perspective of Lucy the mother, Aiden the father and Connor the eldest of two sons.
Sadly the story for me although well written was just a bit slow and hard going.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Love this book i couldn't put it down. Many thanks to net galley for letting me read this. Highly recommended would give more, stars is it had been possible!!

This is undoubtedly well written and very tense and emotional. However, despite having enjoyed Louise’s books in the past I just couldn’t get to grips with this story. There were so many disparate strands to it that I found it hard to follow. It almost felt like I’d missed chunks of the narrative even though I hadn’t so, sad to say, I wasn’t able to finish the book. Unfortunately this nov just wasn’t for me.

Louise Jensen gave me an unpredictable journey into the life of the Walsh family. All members have some secrets, which darkness nature you can undercover step by step. It was a fantastic read full of emotions, darkest secrets and human nature stories. There are so many elements in this book - hidden secrets, sceletons into the closed, dead birds left on the doormat as an invitation into the dangerous game. There is also fear - despair of losing a child, uncured disease, crashed happiness and mistakes made in the past—the gilt. And one essential question - what you are capable of doing to save them.
All For You is a very appealing reading, a dark psychological thriller written in short chapters - altogether kept me gripped to the last moment. I was impressed about the twists and turns, as you cannot really guess what will happen next, and definitely, you cannot guest the final of the story! Also, the layout of the novel, some situations you can see from multiple points of view, which makes you wonder how it influences other people. Short chapters will leave you with more questions than answers, and I enjoyed it very much.
Great reading, very emotional, confusable - highly recommended. I certainly will look forward to the next releases of Louise Jensen.
Thank you, NetGalley, HQ and Louise Jensen, for an ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review.

A teenage game of dare goes tragically wrong. Three teenagers missing why, where, and how unknown. Two families lifelong friendship, sharing memories and bonds like with no other. Successful professional middle class people ,, children heading on a trajectory for university and successful careers. A catalogue of misfortune, pressure, guilt and lies escalates into a series of misjudgments which will result in a catastrophic conclusion for everyone concerned. A family like any other struggling to deal with tragic events like no other. Three dimensional characters full of good intentions suffering the explosive aftermath of misplaced guilt, love and loyalty. An involved and murky introduction, slowly building into a conclusion that can only be described as the stuff of nightmares. A worthy realistic and appropriate ending not for the faint hearted. A five star read with many thanks and appreciation to the Author, Publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.

I have read some of Louise Jensen's book before and have enjoyed them.
We meet the Walsh family - wife Lucy, husband Adrian, Connor and Kieron. They seem to be a normal(ish) family - even though Kieron has some medical issues, and they all have something to hide.
The chapters are from each of their points of views and really gripped me from the get go. Each of the family members seems to have a deep, dark secret that they are holding and for the reader is a mystery ride.
I enjoyed this book, maybe not as much as some of the other novels that the author has written but nonetheless it is a good read.
If you like a good mystery/thriller then do pick this up. Thanks to NetGalley, Louise Jensen and the publishers for an arc of this book in exchange for my honest review.

A very tense and dramatic thriller noir begins with the story of three teenage friends who go missing, one after the other. Could their disappearance by linked to a tragedy that happened the previous summer? Told mostly through the eyes of Lucy, mother of Connor, the third boy to go missing, the story of how teenage pranks went wrong gradually unfolds in flashback. Meanwhile the tension mounts as fears rise for the missing boys.
Along with the meticulously planned plot, the underlying theme of how far a parent will go to protect their child will resonate with readers. Lucy already faces losing her younger son, Kieron, to liver disease. She can't bear to lose Connor, too,. It doesn't help her peace of mind that her husband Aidan is keeping secrets, too.
In fact, no-one is telling the whole truth in a tale so full of twists that I'm surprised the pages don't curl up on themselves! Well-paced and and redolent with menace and suspense, and a very dramatic denouement, this is one of those stories you can't put down.

I enjoyed this book. Last year Connor was involved in an horrendous accident on a school residential, but he and his 2 friends have lied about what happened. His mum, Lucy, also has covered up what her part in it was. His Dad, Aidan, is involved with another woman who is threatening his family security. When Connor's 2 friends go missing, the family is terrified that Connor is going to be next and that the truth will eventually come out.
Thanks to NetGalley for a preview copy.
Copied to Goodreads.

The Walsh family are having a tough time. Kieron the youngest has liver disease and may need a transplant. His elder brother Connor has had something terrible happen to his girlfriend which is not revealed until the last 20% of the book. His mum has given up her job to look after Kieron and her husband Aidan, a vet, has a terrible secret that is driving his marriage apart.
Ver slow two thirds with nothing given away which becomes boring - a lot revealed in the last third - some of which could’ve been leaked slowly through the first two thirds.
Quite confusing storylines and a finale which I found unlikely.
Disappointed in the book though some good, exciting parts just not for me.
Thanks to Netgalley for allowing me to read this book in return for a fair review.
3 Stars ⭐️

All for you by Louise Jensen. Lucy and Aidan, parents of two teenage boys, Connor the eldest and Kieron who has a medical condition which requires him to go to hospital quite regularly if he gets ill. Lucy who has given up her job to look after Kieron is frantic with worry about Kieron and also Aidan and Connor. Coupled with this, there’s a white car following her, things are going missing from the washing line and dead birds are left on her doorstep. Each one of them have their own worries - Connor’s friends are going missing and he is guilty about something that happened his girlfriend, he also feels his mother loves Kieron more than him. Aidan, a vet, is trying to hold everything together, but he himself has his own secrets.
The author does a great job of keeping the reader on tenterhooks drip feeding the reader as we wait for everything to be revealed. While I enjoyed this well enough, I struggled with it and I felt the story was a bit farfetched towards the end.

This is the first book I've read by Louise Jensen and I really enjoyed it. It was easy to follow, gripping, it kept me guessing and it was very well written. Would definitely recommend.

Not my cup of tea. A huge moral dilemma ,some not very likeable characters and a plot twisted to fit. Some of it I did like but some of it was just not believable.

I was initially gripped from the first page as I was intrigued and captured by the opening chapter. However, As the story progressed, the pace became quite slow and nothing much seemed to happen and I felt disconnected from the characters. At this point, I almost gave up on the story, there just wasn't enough to keep me focused.
However, after reading other reviews, I ploughed on and reached part 2 and this is when the pace picked up and the story started to slowly give more clues as to what happened when Connor disappeared. I did find it easier to focus, but as soon as a revelation was revealed I was disappointed as it wasn't as thrilling as I was expecting it to be. When the story did come together in part 3, it felt far fetched and I still didn't feel remorse or pity for any of them. The family as a whole were not likeable. Maybe my expectations for this story were higher and my disappointment was due to it not panning out as I had hoped, however it is an interesting premise and maybe it isn't as far fetched as I initially felt. Maybe a mother would go to those extremes if they had the ability to do so. I enjoyed the writing style, so I will try another book by Louise Jensen. This one just didn't work for me.

I was thrilled to receive a copy of Louise Jensen's new psychological thriller, having enjoyed some of her previous books, and All For You didn't disappoint.
On the surface, the Walsh family seem like your average family, husband and wife with their two sons, but when you scratch the surface, all isn't as simple as it should be.
For a start, there is a young boy suffering an illness that nothing but a transplant can help with, and another teenager suffering anxiety and stress from a tragic event that happened in his own life a few months before.
To top it off you have a husband and wife with their own secrets.
Then, the unthinkable happens. One of their boys goes missing.
The story is told from the viewpoints of both husband and wife, Aiden and Lucy, and the eldest son, Conner. We find out snippets of their pasts, as layers are slowly peeled off, as the story unfolds.
A wonderfully wicked web of interweaving storylines makes for a fantastic thriller, and it kept me on my toes the whole way through. At many points, I was convinced I knew what was happening, only for the next chapter to throw another curveball.
It really does make you think, 'What would I do?', had you been in a situation similar to any of the characters, for they all made bad decisions in the past, though for compelling reasons...
Fantastic read.
Many thanks to NetGalley and HQ for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

To me, this is a cheap page-turner. It lacks complexity and depth. It is the kind of story I expect would result from a one year creative writing class, perhaps? I say this because the ‘twists’ and ‘thrills’ it relies upon are not very original. It is as if the author was given a list of plot twist ideas and decided to use them all to bring the story’s many disparate threads together. Not a fan.

An event happens on a school trip, involving Connor, Ryan and Tyler, with devastating results for Connor’s girlfriend. Everyone blames themselves, including the Head Teacher in charge of the trip, Lucy – Connor’s mum. When the boys start to go missing, one by one, the news reports them as The Missing but why does everyone feel guilty and what secrets are they all hiding?
I found the first half of the book to be very slow. It felt a bit like Uncle Bryn’s fishing trip where the event is constantly referred to but no one knows what happened. The second half of the book is tense and exciting, with almost everything making sense by the end.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a great storyline with excellent characters. I would highly recommend this book as it was a great read.

Another great psychological thriller from Louise Jensen. The Walsh family are all struggling with their lives and keeping secrets. Mother Lucy, father Aidan and teenage sons Connor 17 and Kieron, 13, who has a chronic liver disease and needs constant care. Kieron’s illness is putting pressure on all of them especially Lucy who is finding it hard to cope. When two of Connor’s friends, Tyler and Ryan, both disappear within days of each other he is devastated and this starts a rollercoaster of events that will involve all the Walsh family. Full of twists and turns and plenty of red herrings this will have you turning the pages until the very end. A cracking good read!
