Firstly a big thank you to Hq for my copy to review on netgalley, I am a huge fan of Louise’s books so was very excited!

Wow what a ride this was ! I literally spent the afternoon with the Walsh family and inhaled their story. This blew me away.

Exciting addictive and utterly gripping.

I thought I had it worked out but let me tell you its so unpredictable.

I absolutely loved it, was incredibly thought provoking as a parent.

Compelling and chilling and I highly recommend. Louise is at the top of her game when it comes to writing a unputdownable psychological thriller .

I have read Louise Jensen’s novels before and they are always edge of the seat reading and this one is no exception.

Married couple, Aiden and Lucy, have two sons, Connor, who is college age and Kieron who has a medical condition affecting his liver and a few years younger than Connor. Connor’s two best friends have gone missing, followed by Connor.

There are multiple viewpoints throughout and I found it kept me interested. There are red herrings and numerous twists and turns, most of which I didn’t see coming.

Many thanks to NetGalley, HQ and Louise Jensen for my ARC of All for You in return for my honest review.

This was really good! It follws the Walsh family as they struggle through life with things happening every which way they look. It's really easy to read, as are most books by Louise Jensen, it's so engrossing that you finish it quickly and it's so full of surprises that you are always on your toes - I found myself gasping out loud at points! Great and human characters, flaws and all.....and a gripping storyline that will shock you! Absolutely brilliant 😊

The Walsh family:
Lucy, the mother,
Aiden, the father,
Conor, the son and the brother.
Each of them has something to hide.

I love Louise Jensen's books, so my expectations were automatically high.
It was a good, enjoyable read, but it is yet another book that I struggled to rate. The story had me intrigued, and I enjoyed it.
The last 30% were a super fast rollercoaster of emotions, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to find out how the story ends. The twist was jaw-dropping and one that I would never have predicted.
However, because the story picked up so late, I was in two minds about the rating. In the end, I decided on 3 stars.

This is a novel that explores an interesting theme, about how far a parent might go to protect their family and the effect of stress and past experience on motivations and decisions. All of the main characters have experienced a life changing traumatic event and to begin with the reader is tricked into thinking this is a single event from different perspectives, which means there are a lot of twists and turns along the way. There are a lot of lies and deception from the protagonists but I was not totally convinced by the dramatic climax. A great book club read due to the moral and ethical questions, but not completely engaging. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the chance to read an advance copy.

Wow. I know it is a cliche but this book really keeps you guessing. Get ready for a helter-skelter ride. You think you have reached a conclusion but how could you as you are only two thirds through the book, but then it changes and off you go again. Meet Lucy and Aiden and their two sons and their friends. What a mixed combination of characters. All likeable in their own way until…

All for you is about the Walsh family. Mother Lucy struggling to cope with her son Kieron who is ill. She used to be a Surgeon but stopped to look after her son. There is brother Connor who is still guilty after his girlfriend Hailey ending up in a wheelchair and Dad Aidan a vet who is struggling to keep it together. They all have secrets to hide.
When strange things start to happen. The boys that were involved that day when Hailey had her accident start to go missing and Lucy is worried that Connor will be next.
Thank you, HQ, for a copy of Louise Jensen’s latest novel. I always look forward to the authors books and this one was no exception. This is another tense thriller from the author with well developed characters and great storyline and I did enjoy this, but I didn’t think it was one of her best. As the storyline revealed itself towards the end for me personally I found it a bit farfetched. 4 stars from me.

Absolutely brilliant. The story slowly weaves itself around to expose the backstory of the novel. Fantastically written, great characters, and a million ‘what if’ questions for the reader.

A book just about saved by its ending.

I struggled through the first 70% of this book. The constant hints at secrets and lies didn't have their desired effect of creating tension, I just found that it became tedious. I found myself bored by the narrative and was putting off reading.

Towards the end the story does pick up, and the final 10% finally gets a bit meatier. Though the final reveal of what's going on still wasn't completely satisfying, parts of it feeling extremely far fetched. I think Lucy's character needed exploring a lot more.

The whole concept is intriguing and thought provoking, but I just feel quite underwhelmed by how the story played out.

When his two best friends rapidly go missing without trace, Lucy worries for her son Connor; the three boys were involved in a tragic incident on a school residential trip which has led to difficulties at school. One more nightmare to add to her younger son’s debilitating illness, and the strains this has placed on the relationship between Lucy and husband Aidan.
The tension builds as the story is told partly in the present and flashback to a few days earlier, before the first boy went missing. All the characters have secrets; Lucy no longer practises as a surgeon, Aidan is apparently involved in a secret liaison, Connor refuses to talk about the school trip, and frequently visits the cemetery, unburdening his feelings at a girl’s graveside. The narrative point of view shifts between the main characters, ensuring that the reader empathises with each one, as the truth of the situation is revealed, piece by piece.
Suspenseful, gripping and enthralling; a psychological thriller to savour.

Absolutely brilliant. Keeps you guessing right to the end. A family is being torn apart by illness and a tragedy that happened to one of the children and his friends. We have sibling rivalry, a feeling of being ignored because of the youngest son’s illness. The eldest son is racked with guilt about an accident that happened to his girlfriend. Two of his friends who were there at the accident have disappeared. The mother is desperately worried her son will be next. This is well written, guaranteed to keep you hooked til the end.

Wow, this kept me guessing right to the end! Very cleverly written, telling the story from the views of different people, but finally coming together at the end, with totally unexpected twists.

I've not read anything by this author before but I'll definitely be looking for her books from now on.

My first Louise Jensen and wow what a rollercoaster. This is very much a family focussed book which is full of twists and turns. A real psychological thriller. It’s difficult to say too much about it without giving anything away so I’ll content myself with saying “just read it” and I’ll now search out Louise’s back catalogue.

A well written mystery from Louise Jenson. I did find it a little confusing at first - probably me being dim rather than the book - at the lack of detail about the ‘incident’ that was so clearly blighting the characters’ lives. Jenson slowly reveals the mystery through a series of flashbacks combined with the story moving forward in present time. A good read.

Oh my beating heart!! Author Louise Jensen had done it again, twists and secrets were weaved into the story with the family dynamics.

The writing had the sheer talent of wanting me keep reading one more chapter deep into the night. With short snappy ones, I never realized time had passed. I for went sleep for this book.

A happily married couple with kids soon found circumstances changing when a disaster in a school trip occurred. With many POVs secrets slowly surfaced and blew me away. Simply brilliant.

Once again Louise Jensen has penned another excellent psychological thriller which will keep you guessing until the final few chapters.Lucy and Aiden are married and have two children Connor and Kieron, the book revolves around Connor’s friends Ryan and Tyler and a school trip they all took where disaster strikes when someone is injured, the story is told from each characters point of view as you learn all the secrets and lies they’re all keeping. With short sharp chapters the book keeps you gripped as you find out the shocking truth towards the end.I can recommend this book to anyone who enjoys this genre.A very good 4 star thriller.

Wow, how many secrets can one family have! This book was just plot twist after plot twist and I couldn't put it down. I loved that the chapters were told from the point of view of the various characters, it gave me a better understanding of why they acted as they did. I have read Louise Jensen's work in the past but this is definitely her best book. Give it a read but be prepared to burn the midnight oil because you won't be able to put it down.

I ended up reading this book in one day because I wanted to find out what happened, as this book had so many twists and secrets. For that reason alone, I have to give it 4 stars. There are a few reasons I’m not giving it 5. One, and this is a spoiler, is that there is what I can only describe as body mutilation to a minor. I despised reading this bit and I think it wasn’t necessary. However, as it did, it made the ending all the more unsatisfying to me. Things were resolved a bit too neatly and without too much detail.

This book does keep you guessing though, and while I figured some stuff out, there were other bits you just couldn’t. It would have been nicer if some things had been revealed a bit earlier, rather than everything all at once

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

All for You is the type of book that stays with you for a long time. It's fast-paced, gripping, and has a twist that I defy anyone to figure out.

Lucy is Mum to Connor and Wife to Aidan - each of these characters is keeping a secret.
What happened to Connor and his friends that culminates in the boys disappearing one by one.
What is Aidan hiding - who is he meeting?
Is Lucy slowly losing her mind - why does she keep seeing a mysterious car parked outside of her house - what does the driver want?

Well written, richly detailed characters and the suspense is something else. A very enjoyable read.

The Walsh family are not finding life easy. The mother is living on her nerves, worried for her oldest son and the consequences of his past actions and her youngest sons health problems.
I found this story depressing and the characters hard to focus on.
Thank you to NetGalley and HQ for my e-copy in exchange for an honest review.
