My thanks to HQ for an eARC via NetGalley of ‘All For You’ by Louise Jensen in exchange for an honest review.

Louise Jensen again delivers a tense domestic noir/psychological thriller. The narrative follows a number of points of view and hops about in time, though these shifts are clearly indicated in the text.

Lucy Walsh is a loving wife and mother. Until recently she had been working as an orthopaedic surgeon and her husband, Aidan, is a veterinarian. They have two sons: 17-year-old Connor and 13-year-old Kieron, who is very ill with a chronic liver disease.

This is the kind of novel that is best read without too much prior information, so I won’t say more about the plot. Of course, the family is awash with secrets and Louise Jensen is skilled in revealing these in a series of ingenious twists and turns and a few slights of hand.

This was one of those novels that once started, I found it almost impossible to put down.

"The hands of the clock tick out their warning as they march from the present into the future. More than anything I wish I could wind them back and step into the past. Rewrite history.
Keep us safe."

Wow! What a rollercoaster ride this was! All For You has everything you could want in a thriller and more. Heart-pounding, tense and unputdownable it gets its hooks into you at the start and doesn’t let go. And I suggest you simply hold on and enjoy the ride.

I knew Louise Jensen wrote a good psychological thriller, but this time she really knocked it out of the park. Fast-paced and vividly written, this book was crazy! In the best way. Cleverly and intricately plotted, this is a layered, complex and nuanced story with so much beneath the surface waiting to be revealed. You feel the foreboding, mystery and dark secrets looming from the first page and the pain and torment flow from every pore as the author explores the dynamics of family life, friendships, love, loss and tragedy, as well as the reality of living with someone with a chronic and potentially fatal illness alongside the mystery. I was desperate to know what this family was hiding and why they thought someone would want revenge. I loved how hard this was to predict and how the slight shift in part two brought something new and surprising to the story that ramps up the tension you already feel, leaving me flying through the remaining pages to discover the truth.

"Suddenly, he knew what madness looked like. He was staring it straight in the eyes."

I love a well-written multiple pov story and this one pulls it off flawlessly. The narrators are richly drawn and intriguing characters. They are all hiding something, making them unreliable narrators, and I soon began to wonder if they are keeping the same secret or if there were multiple skeleton’s hidden in this family’s closet. The author writes them all so skillfully, really getting inside the tortured souls of this family and bringing them to life.

This book blew me away and I’m still reeling from the cascade of shocking revelations that came as we approached the finale. Jaw-dropping and addictive, this is a must read for thriller fans.

Wow what can I say about this book that will do it justice. What a great read feom Louise Jensen that will have you gripped from pretty much the first chapter. Lucy is a competent surgeon that for some reason no longer works. She is devoted to her two sons Connor and Kieron , Connor is in emotional turmoil following a tragic incident with his girlfriend, and Kieron has serious health problems. When 2 of her Connor's friends go missing the whole family are terrified that he is next. What could the kidnapper want with the boys, is it connected to Connor's girlfriend and what lengths are they prepared to go to. I was absolutely hooked by the first chapter, the twists kept coming and the plot was amazing. Brilliant

Ok I know it’s a cliche but not one I use very often, but I could not put this book down. I didn’t even try to guess the ending as I usually would and I would have been so far off the mark I’m glad I didn’t.

Lucy is one amazing surgeon who for some reason has given up practicing. She is a devoted mother who will go to any lengths to keep her family safe.

Connor is full of guilt following an accident involving his girlfriend and still writes and talks with her daily.

And poor Aiden is a lost soul. A husband and a father but also a talented vet.

When Connor and his friends are taken the plot thickens with every page you turn. Louise never fails to deliver a thriller that keeps you turning the pages. Thank you

O.M.G.!! What a wild ride that I read in almost one sitting and definitely completed in one day...staying up until the wee hours to unravel the mystery and find out just what the hell was going on! Louise Jensen is one of my favourite authors, though she has written just a handful of thrillers, none of them are a disappointment and each one of them is a thrill ride the reader never forgets!

So what of ALL FOR YOU? I can say that it is with a huge sense of foreboding I raced through the pages trying to work out exactly what was going on...but I wasn't even close! Most authors can't hoodwink me but Louise Jensen manages to skillfully do just that as she weaves together one hell of a twisted tale with so many twists and false turns that leaves us breathless by the end. I dare anyone to guess the outcome...because it's so unexpected and disturbing even that one has to wonder exactly what goes on in the author's mind! The entire tale is twisted that much of it is revealed to be unexpected, though I do proudly claim to have unravelled at least one or two twists! Yay...go me!

The story begins with a rather thrilling and incredibly intriguing prologue as Lucy races home with a deep sense of foreboding...way deeper than mine...panic stricken that something has happened to her eldest son Connor, in the wake of the recent disappearances of his two best friends Tyler and Ryan. Panicking when he fails to answer his phone. He may well not answer her calls but he would never ignore his 13 year old brother Keiron, who is very ill with a rare disorder that has no known cure.

What ensues is the countdown to Connor's disappearance as the clock is rewound thirteen days prior and readers are introduced to the Walsh family who are under a considerable amount of strain. In the midst of Keiron's life-threatening illness, Connor is consumed with guilt over something that took place several months before at a school camp of sorts. Readers don't know what but are gradually drip-fed throughout and keeps us guessing, as we think we know what happened. But we don't...oh, no. It goes way deeper. Then Meanwhile Lucy is trying to keep everything perfectly balanced holding the family together, caring for Keiron all the while aware that her eldest son is struggling. And then there is Aidan, husband and father, who has secrets of his own that have in too deep to dig himself out of the hole in which he now finds himself. Again, readers think they know...and yet again, we know nothing.

In the lead-up to Connor's disappearance and those of his friends Tyler and Ryan beforehand, Lucy feels she is being watched as she spots a single white car on more than one occasion parked outside their house and even following her to the supermarket. Her paranoia is clear for all to see that even Connor becomes aware of the car but instead of it being his mum being under threat, he believes the car is stalking him. And Aidan? Well, you guessed it...he thinks they are watching him. Each one of the Walsh family, except Keiron, believe they are the ones under threat as they fight to keep their secrets from coming to light. And instead of talking to each other, their world - along with their secrets - become a tangled mess.

There are very few characters in this nail-biting read so there aren't that many suspects to choose from and yet Jensen still manages to confuse the reader and spring on us the unexpected. As the story progresses, I was continually surprised by each revelation as we are kept guessing throughout. I honestly could not put this book down and simply had to read it to the end...even if it kept me awake into the wee hours. I have to say, it was worth the sleep deprivation. What a ride!

The story is initially told from the three perspectives of Lucy, Aidan and Connor in the first part of the story, which is divided into three parts. Ryan does share a narrative in the second although his doesn't shed any real light and pretty much only serves to thrown even more confusion our way. The chapters are short and snappy which keep the reader engaged and the story moving at a lightning speed throughout. Towards the end the chapters are even shorter again - some only a page or even just a few lines as we flip the pages in our quest to find out what happens. These short snappy chapters (my favourite) reflects the intensity and creates a building tension of the drama playing out before us. Each chapter flows from one narrative to the next as we see into each of the characters' minds. This made the pace move at a breakneck speed that was almost faster than the speed of light!

In the midst of the thrills is plenty of emotion as we witness each of the characters' heartbreaks and struggles at the struggles they each face...even if we don't know exactly what they may be. The entire read was an adrenaline rush I found I was laying on my pillow at 4am thinking...what the hell was that?

ALL FOR YOU is fast paced throughout, picking up even moreso in Part Two and not letting up until the end. It was an adrenaline rush from start to finish. Who needs skydiving when we have Louise Jensen penning such thrillers? I have read four, of which "The Sister" and "The Stolen Sisters" had been my favourites, but this one takes that to a whole new level!

A thrill-ride till the end, ALL FOR YOU is one hell of a fast-paced read that you will not be able to put down. A bit far-fetched? Maybe. But predictable it is not! But one thing is for sure...it is incredibly entertaining and addictive and one hell of a ride!

I didn't think I would be able to say much about this book for fear of revealing anything...but I can't stop talking about it! It's just mind-blowingly brilliant and I just loved it from beginning to end! I can't wait to see what Louise Jensen brings us next! Keep them coming!!

Perfect for fans of twisted psychological thrillers that keep you guessing.

I would like to thank #LouiseJensen, #Netgalley and #HQ for an ARC of #AllForYou in exchange for an honest review.

"All for you“ is Louise Jensen's best thriller so far. I read almost all the previous ones, so I know what I'm saying! 😂

At the beginning, the story of Walsh family seems to be just a regular family drama. Not that there's something wrong with this genre, but personally I like my thrillers very thrilling, if you know what I mean. 😂

Few chapters in and I was bitting my nails. The author didn't disappoint me.
I was supposed to read it as a part of Tandem Collective readalong, few chapters at the time but I have to confess, I've devoured it almost in one go.

I couldn't stop thinking about this book, I even dreamed about it during my afternoon nap. 😂

I had many crazy theories but none of them turned out to be close to the truth.

I have to say that the ending was very satisfying!
You should add it to your TBR pile ASAP!
Are you planning to read it?

This is a great psychological thriller, which started off very fast paced and exciting, therefore, really drawing me in. As the book went on, it kept my attention, even when it slowed down a little. I didn't really gel with any of the characters, but they all played their part in this suspenseful drama. Lucy, Aidan, Connor and Kieron brought us a good story, with a very surprising ending, which left me a bit shocked. The book has a lot of twists and turns, secrets and omg moments, which kept me engrossed. Great read!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

What a story! My favourite by Louise Jensen so far.
Lots and lots of secrets and revelations that were really surprising, it felt like one twist after another. This book is so cleverly written that what you think is happening in the beginning and what actually does happen are two completely different things. I love how everything all comes together perfectly in the end and the three main characters - Lucy, Aidan and Connor, are brilliant.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, what a great read.

So in the beginning I thought oh no what am I reading it was so complicated but believe me it worked. About a quarter way I was hooked well worth the read. Can't say more due to spoilers and every page is thrilling.

I was given an advance copy by netgalley and the publishers but the review is entirely my own.

I was super lucky to be part of this blog tour! We were told to post any day between the 20th and 24th of January so here is my post!
This book was jam packed with action, strong characters and a great story. Even with the amount of characters I felt I knew them well enough I could connect with them.
There were so many twists and turns in this book right from the beginning. So much going on I couldn't put the book down.
I didn't see the end coming at all, I didn't know who was going where or who knew where who was but once it unravels in the ending chapters I was gob smacked.
I have read books by Louise Jensen before and loved them so I'm super happy to get to read this one and love it.

This book will hook you up from the very first page and it simply never lets you go!

“Someone is going to get hurt”

As the past is catching up with each family member, the tension rises up, building ever so cleverly!

The characters are so well rounded, the secrets run deep and will keep you guessing until the very last page.

Things are not going well for the Walsh family. But who’s fault is it?

Are they being watched? Followed? Threatened? Or are they imagining it all?

What is Aidan doing with this mysterious woman?

What did Lucy do that she’s terrified it’s coming back to punish her?

What happened to Connor’s girlfriend Hailey on that school trip ?

The twists and turns are so unexpected, I didn’t see any of it coming! Everything I thought I knew was turned upside down at the last minute!

Unmissable if you are a thriller fan! I for one couldn’t put it down, just devoured it!

One word: brilliant!

Having read and thoroughly enjoyed The Stolen Sisters, I was delighted to be given the opportunity to read All For You. The story starts with Lucy rushing home with a dread that one of her sons, Connor, has gone missing while she has been at the hospital with his brother, Kieron, who is very ill.
The story then starts 13 days before Connor is taken! This is a fast moving story which not only follows the countdown to Connor's disappearance but moves further back to an accident on a school trip which Connor and his friends were involved in. What has happened and all the complications of Connor's family and their life are hinted at but not explained.
The characters are well defined; their stories are hinted at but shrouded in mystery; perhaps there are too many strands - one or two of which I was not comfortable with!
Three and a half stars for me.
Many thanks to Netgalley/Louise Jensen/HQ for a digital copy of this title. All opinions expressed are my own.

Louise Jensen has done it again, but even twistier and darker than before! This story describes a devoted family, but like most families, each member has secrets, and secrets can be dangerous. The slow dig below the surface of their lives had me gasping with surprise as events unfurled. Meanwhile, their community is sent reeling by the disappearance of a teenaged boy. All is very much not as it seems.

Louise Jenson has written some excellent psychological thrillers but this one has more suspense, twists and surprises than any other of hers I have enjoyed: she has taken it to another level. I was absolutely gripped by the story and rode the rollercoaster of twists and disclosures with a mounting sense of excitement and dread. An amazing, brave piece of writing, domestic noir at its best. How far would you go for your loved ones?

Wow! I mean, I knew All For You would be a great read, Louise's books always are, but this one excelled itself! The story is so tense, so emotional and so driven that I had no idea "who dunnit" until right at the end.

Connor and his family really made me feel for them. Then struggles they endure are so heartbreaking and sad. Lucy and Aidan just want the best for their boys and are facing the reality that it is completely out of their control sometimes.

The drama is so real and tense, I often found myself holding my breath. I didn't want to stop reading for a single second but I also didn't want this brilliant book to end. Louise is a genuinely great storyteller! She just gets family, she draws from personal experiences and you can really feel that in her writing. i cried several times while reading this book. I didn't expect to cry. It's just so, so powerful.

Where do I start with this review, should I tell you about the thrilling prologue and then the countdown to Connor being taken. Or should I tell you about the characters and how many secrets they all hold. Not just this family either as really it all revolves around an earlier school residential incident and the three boys involved.

There were so many different stories playing out making this multi layered but not once confusing. It was extremely compelling as the author played them all like some twisted puppet master.

I had so many questions, what happened to Hailey? Who is controlling Aiden? What happened between Mel and Fergus? Who has taken the boys? What did Lucy do to make things worse? Who is in the white car?

I have to say it was a strange experience feeling empathy for Lucy over her youngest son Kieran being so sick while also not really liking her very much. Then there was her husband Aidan who it seemed was up to no good but I couldn’t help liking. This whole book had me feeling all topsy turvy. Then there were their sons Connor and Kieran who were both so brilliant in their own individual ways. Connor loving Hailey exactly as she was and Kieran looking up to him as a typical younger brother would. In his eyes he could do no wrong, but did he?

This is a good, twisty and very unsettling thriller. It’s fast paced in it’s style but slow in revealing it’s secrets. You will be desperate to make the connections and find this difficult to put down.
