I was privileged to read the third in the Richter series and I was awed by how Ms. Bybee can continue to write powerful stories with great characters and a story that keeps you turning the pages until the early morning. My favorite series is still the Weekday Bride series but any book by this author is a guaranteed winner. I received an Uncorrected Proof from NetGalley in return for an unbiased review. Thank you NetGalley!
Jacqueline “Jax” Simon knows how to expose secrets: she’s a skilled operative with MacBain Security and Solutions. When Jax hears her parents are divorcing, she races to London to find out why. Engaging and Interesting quick read.
This is the 3rd installment in the series. They are getting better and better. I love the mystery and how each book gives a glimpse into a hidden clue and Richter. Jax and Andrews story seemed a little flat but I like getting to know these characters one by one. Can’t for the next one. This comes out November 30,2022. Thanks Netgalley for the ARC copy
Good book! This book had suspense, intrigue, action, and a lot of bad azz mother truckers! Lol there was a lot of who done it going on , lots of twists and turns! I would definitely recommend reading this book! Its well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
I would like to say that I enjoyed it. The open ending means another book in the series that I shall impatiently wait for but the pacing was amazing. There was considerably less action and more plot building in this book which I prefer. Catherine Bybee writes amazing stories with beautiful pacing that doesn't feel long at all. It was a quick read, 4/5. I have read all the books in this series, and this one is by far my favorite. I liked her new installation of the "villain" POV. It provided a nice change into the mind, although in this book, the ending was unclear which is why I didn't give it a higher rating.
