I love Hope Jones, although sometimes she can come across as a bit annoying. Her heart is pure though, and she only wants the best for her friends, family and the world. She is on a mission to make the air clean again, so that her friend Selma can breathe more easily, and so that everyone who lives in the world can breathe fresh air. She writes on her blog all about things that people can do to stop pollution, and she protests about it, as well as telling all of her family, friends, school teachers, the council and her neighbours about it. I love how passionate Hope is and I really enjoyed this children's book, which I highly recommend.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.

Hope Jones Clears the Air was the third installment in the Hope Jones series and I absolutely loved it!

The story followed young Hope who decides to boycott cars when she sees her friend have a asthma attack due to the pollution. We get to see how she slowly changes her neighbourhood one car at a time. Her perseverance and commitment to change is really inspiring! The message of environmental change us presented in a really engaging way in this book and I think it is perfect for middle grade readers!

Thank you for netgalley and the publisher for the E-arc! All opinions are my own.

I am really loving this series. Hope is such a great character, passionate, occasionally intense and very determined. I like how as soon as she becomes aware of a particular environmental issue, in this case pollution, she throws herself 100% into tackling it. Her frequently uncompromising stance does cause moments of friction with family and other people she meets, but she does learn to work with people and take on board their arguments. This ultimately means she manages to get more people to help and make the changes they can which is the real message in this series, do what you can.

Great little middle grade book. A good learning experience for children while reading the Hope Jones series tackles some important issues the world is dealing with today. Loved the illustrations and the blog format. Going to get my 11 year old to read the series next.
