Really enjoyed this story and the depths it reached surrounding perceptions of people and the impact that can have.

I haven't read a Mills and Boon book for many years and I know why now. I felt very frustrated with the story of will they , won't they all through the book when you knew they would eventually. It could have been a good story if they had taken out all of the pondering each of the characters had when they were either on their own or with each other. Sorry ,not for me.

Meet Me in Tahiti - Georgia Toffolo

I received an advance review copy for free thanks to NetGalley and Mills and Boon and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Where there’s always a second chance at first love…

Zoe has spent her life facing battles: fighting her parents for independence, struggling with her feelings for local bad boy Finn and, after a car accident at eighteen, adjusting to the fact she would not walk again. She remained strong until the day Finn, the person she thought she could trust, broke her heart… Now a successful travel writer, Zoe is excited to review a new luxury hotel in the beautiful South Pacific – until she meets its owner…

This is the third book in the Meet Me series and I have to say that I am thoroughly enjoying this series. In this book we follow Zoe, who is a travel writer travelling around the world. As with the previous books in the series this is a cute romance.

With a beautiful setting that you can easily picture, this is a series that I highly recommend. It is such a light summery read with characters that you will grow attached to.

Rating 4/5

When I originally requested this one, I knew there were other ‘Meet Me in’ books but not that they were part of a series following four close friends as they each find their HEA. I haven’t read any of the other books so I can’t say if they read better as a series but I can say that it didn’t affect my reading of this book.

Meet Me in Tahiti was just ok for me. It didn’t blow me away but also I didn’t devour it in one sitting.

I think my main issue was with Zoe, who at times I just found annoying. Certain things she said would irritate me and made her come across as childlike and spoilt. This wasn’t constant though and there were times I really liked her character and felt she was relatable and genuine.

The best thing for me about this book was the setting. The scene setting and imagery was brilliant and I really wanted to be there to see this gorgeous location for myself.

Overall, I felt the story was a bit too young and innocent for me and not what I expected from a Mills & Boon book (I wanted some smut, don’t judge me!)

If you’re looking for a cute romance with lots of ‘will they, won’t they’ moments, then this book is for you. It’s not a hugely original storyline but it is set in a beautiful location with lots of local history and stories thrown in. It’s a little slow to get going but it did pick up about half way through and I found myself reading the second half much quicker.

The first thing that drew me to this book is it's stunning cover. The illustration is so Summery and fun and the fact that it has a woman in a wheelchair on the front massively caught my attention. As someone who is in a wheelchair part time I was deeply moved to see someone like me represented in a romance novel, as the main character, no less!
Once I started reading I wasn't disappointed. Meet Me in Tahiti is a fun, Sunny, tropical novel that has the most gorgeous scenery and setting. I want to go to visit now!
I loved the characterisations and their relationships and I loved the main love story...I was rooting for them from the very first chapter.
The writing style flowed really well, which resulted in this book being really quite addictive.
I loved the disability representation; it was mentioned but not in way that hindered the story.
I really hope this novel helps people to view disability in a different way, as I honestly think it does!
It is the kind of book I will read again and definitely recommend to other people.
Fabulous story, enjoyable writing...the perfect escapism! Loved it!

This is the third book in the Meet Me series and follows Zoe. Following a car accident when she was 18, Zoe is now wheelchair bound but this hasn't stopped her from becoming a successful travel writer. In the aftermath of the accident Zoe was trying to come to terms with the fact that she would never walk again when her first love Finn broke her heart. Now Zoe is set to review a new luxury hotel on the French Polynesian island of Tahiti but little does she know that Finn is the owner of the hotel.

This is a second chance romance between Finn and Zoe. I did like the relationship between Finn and Zoe however it wasn't my favourite romance from the series. I thought that the disability representation was done well and I liked that it didn't stop Zoe from doing everything that she wanted to. I also liked the descriptions of Tahiti, the hotel and the excursions that the characters did I could easily imagine the setting.

Overall I enjoyed this book although it is not my favourite from the series. I like this series because the books are a lot of fun and I love the different places that they are set.

I really wanted to like this book, but I just couldn't connect with the characters. I really enjoy reading books with disabled protagonists as I am disabled myself; although I am not a full time wheelchair user as Zoe is I find I can usually relate well with some of their struggles. I also think it is an under represented area in romance novels, so I have to give Georgia props for that as it seemed she had put a lot of research into it. Zoe herself was a bit too airy fairy, even though she had been given a backstory I found her to have no depth or be very real, which I think is why I struggled to connect. The writing also fell flat for me.. I found the style really surface level and too wordy, it kept jolting you out of the story instead of letting you get lost in it. I had no excitement to read and find out what would happen, which for me is a big turn off.
Nice to see some representation of disability in the romance world, but ultimately wasn't for me.

If you are craving a lighthearted, easy read where you can escape to somewhere exotic...this book is for you.

As a big fan of her first (Meet Me In London) I was elated to receive a copy of this. The scene setting of an idyllic tropical location was so beautiful and detailed, I felt like I was there with the characters, living every scene through their eyes.

As well as that, she seamlessly wrote from alternative POVs between Zoe and Finn, helping us learn the inner workings and ultimately love each character. I had the usual frustrations when you want something to happen to/for characters but their timing had to be right. Their journey needed the appropriate soul searching/ self discovery and Toff created that for them impeccably.

Finally, and with great importance, I love how sensitively the topic of disability was handled and written. It's so important to have representation and I feel the way this was explored was appropriate and also eye opening.

All in all another, successful story from this group of wonderful women.

Brilliant read, Just like Meet Me In London which is still my favourite out of the series.

Once I started reading it, I didn't want to put it down.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

“Love this Meet Me series”.

This is the third book in the series. All books include a group of girlfriends, and each book has been about their individual story, but including the others too.

This book was about Zoe, who has suffered injuries in a car crash which changed her life, one that all her friends were involved in, when they were teenagers.
Being in a wheelchair hasn’t stopped her doing what she loves. But she’s not yet fully recalled what really happened that night. As well as her dreams, of being a author and Finn. They both left their homes and haven’t crossed paths since.

So when they do meet, both have changed, but what’s not changed are their feelings for one another.

The story was written delicately, and with consideration of how a disabled person can feel, showing, how you can help someone without making them feel like they are a burden.

I loved the way Tahiti was described and the background of the traditional flowers and heritage of its people.

Recommend this series.

Toff does is again with another corker,
I loved the third of her series. It was great to see a disabled main character and felt like everything was spoke about with sensitivity but also highlighting that Zoe was about more than her chair.
The only downside for me is that I felt like it wrapped up really quickly, but it’s another great book in the line up. Thanks for the early copy, I can’t wait for Lily’s story next!

This is the third book in the meet me series and is Zoe's story. They can be read in order or as stand alone books.

Since Zoe's accident at 18 she has avoided her home town at all costs and enjoys life as a travel writer. However events lead to Zoe facing a trip back home.

Zoe goes on a press trip and is surprised to see someone who she's been avoiding from her past.

Will Zoe find out what she wants ? Will she open up her heart?

Having read the first two books in the ‘Meet Me’ series, I was looking forward to reading this book, and wasn’t disappointed. Georgia is becoming one of my favourite authors.
As a travel journalist, Zoe travels to the South Pacific to review a new hotel, not knowing that Finn – a boy from her past, is the owner. Finn was born into a working-class background, while Zoe’s parents were wealthy, and determined to keep them apart. However, 10 years later in beautiful, exotic Tahiti, they discover the romance is still there and the chemistry sizzles between them.
With the story being told from two perspectives, Zoe and Finn, you get a more rounded picture. Although Zoe had been in a terrible accident in her teens and having to use a wheelchair, she is strong and fiercely independent, determined to succeed at her job. She provides a strong, positive role model overcoming difficult circumstances to achieve success.
It’s good to meet up again with the women featured in the first books in the series, and discover how they’re getting on. With crisp amusing dialogue and lush descriptions of the exotic scenery and wildlife in Tahiti, you can almost feel the atmosphere, and wish you were there in the lush locations.
Another winner from Toff.

Novels written by celebrities/reality TV stars can sometimes be a little hit and miss, not living up to the expectations and hopes of the reader. I can wholeheartedly say that this is not the case with the novels written by Georgia Toffolo. Having read ‘Meet me in London’ soon after it was released I jumped at the opportunity to read her latest novel, ‘Meet Me in Tahiti’ as an ARC provided by NetGalley.
Those that have read either Meet me in London or Meet me in Hawaii will know the 4-part series features the challenges, romances and friendship of Victoria, Lily, Zoe and Malie. Meet Me in Tahiti features Zoe, who was left wheel chair bound after a car accident when the girls were teens. Even before the accident, it seems everybody wants to “save” Zoe or protect her from the trials, tribulations and hurts in life. This understandably frustrates Zoe who doesn’t desire to be saved and wants people to see past her wheels or prematurity as a baby and view her as the strong, independent woman she is. It is clear from the outset, that Toffolo has created an admirable, determined and likeable female character.
Although Zoe has reached her career aspirations, she feels something is missing from her life and this is where bad boy Finn enters our story. Zoe and Finn meet again in the most unexpected circumstances and the description of their chemistry blew me away however, is there too much water under the bridge for them to make it? Or does love conquer all?

Meet me in Tahiti is one of those illusive 5* reads, it kept me reading all night and I devoured it in just a few days desperate to know how the story of Zoe and Finn ends. A perfect summer story, I wish I was relaxing on the Tahiti beach, snorkelling with the clams and smelling those beautiful flowers. If you’re looking for a romantic, feel-good and easy read you won’t be disappointed by this purchase!

An absolutely brilliant read which reintroduced us to the fabulous four from the previous two books.
This time the story revolves around Zoe and Finn and whether they can rekindle their teenage romance and find love at last.
Third in the series of books which is still a stand alone novel.
Loved it so much just could not put it down and read it in one day.
Just can’t recommend it enough

I was given this book by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I have really enjoyed Finn and Zoe's rediscovery of each other and their recollections of teenage years seen through different eyes. This book was not as fun and flirty as the previous two in the series and there was a bit more will they, wont they. I found this a bit harder to read but at the end found it was no less enjoyable than the previous books. I thought Zoe was a fantastic character whonproved everyday that independence is not a bad thing. Finn was not the consummate bad boy but instead proved to be methodical and purposeful. I loved their coming together at the end and I was in no doubt throughout this book that they were a couple meant to be. I am now eagerly awaiting Lily's story to complete the set!

I so wanted to enjoy this book. I read the first, struggled to begin with but loved it at the end, I struggled with the second book but really wanted to give the third book a go. Again, I struggled with it. I find it really hard to read books where it takes you to about 50% of the way through to start to enjoy it. However. that is just me, I don't have a great deal of patience and if I don't feel I am enjoying something, I want to give up. Life's too short to struggle with books you don't enjoy. However, this book is different, I never wanted to stop reading and did finish it. I think sometimes for me the description goes on a little too long in these stories
The books follow 4 lifetime friends, each book is dedicated to their own individual story. This is the story of Zoe, who is left in a wheelchair after an accident that happened when she was younger. It was good to read a story that tackled disability, these topics are very rarely dealt with and time was spent discussing before and after the accident. Zoe is strong and independent but it also tackles the fact that Zoe sometimes needs help and she needs to accept this help. Zoe is a travel writer and goes to review a hotel in the South Pacific, which just happens to be owned by Finn, who broke her heart years ago.
Give this book a go, the series is good and light hearted, the girls have a lovely friendship and bond that they have had for so many years and they are lovely romance stories.
Thank you to Mills&Boon and Netgalley for the e-Arc in exchange for an honest review

Meet Me in Tahiti is the third book of the series, and I was impressed by Georgia's decision to bring diversity into the series, bringing Zoe a wheelchair user center stage. Her powerful and strong personality is well written, making her a very likable character. Although we have already met her in the previous books, this allows the reader to learn more about Zoe, her life experiences, and her dreams and aspirations.

This is a classic romantic feel-good read, that I have come to expect from this author. Her exciting writing style remaining consistent throughout the series. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Although I have read this in a digital format, this is the type of book that I will buy once released, and keep the series together to re-read over and over again. The beautiful cover on this would make a splendid visual addition to any bookshelf!

Overall, a perfect five-star review, which is highly recommended

I love this series so when Meet me in Tahiti was released I couldnt wait to read it.

Each of the books focuses on one of the friends, this time its Zoe. Zoe was badly injured in the car crash that the four friends were in and ended up in a wheelchair. She spent time after the accident running away but never feeling happy with life. She has done more or less back to back travelling since. When she was asked to step in for a work colleague to write a travel article on a new hotel in Tahiti that is where she sees Finn, someone she used to work with who, unbeknown to her, was warned she was off limits. Is she still off limits?

You know they both like each other, they both do like each other but both are too afraid to tell each other. Its a lovely, relaxed read set on a beautiful island. I did chuckle at the Vanilla reference even before it was mentioned by the girls. I enjoyed the journey they went on to finally find what they both had been looking for. Although this is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

I was given an ARC of the third instalment into Toff’s ‘Meet Me’ series. This instalment follows the third friend from the ‘Lost Hours’ group, Zoe. In Meet Me In London we learned that the group of friends were in a car crash on the way to their school summer ball, the crash impacted each of the girls but nobody more so than Zoe who became a paraplegic from her injuries.

Regardless of her disability, Zoe has become a travel writer and since leaving her small home town of Hawkes Cove, has only been back to the UK once. As part of her work she agrees to cover for a colleague to write a review of a new hotel opening in French Polynesia; which literally sounds like paradise and I’ve wanted to go for so long! What she isn’t expecting is to see a face from the past from her little seaside town out in her new safe world.

Fin was always the local ‘bad boy’ growing up. Everybody knew he had a thing for Zoe and everybody warned him to stay away. When his Mum died he; like Zoe, left Hawke’s Cove and has never looked back. But he’d recognise Zoe anywhere, is he good enough for her now?

I have loved this series, it has been super easy to read both Hawaii and French Polynesia are places on my bucket list. But if I’m being honest, this book didn’t really do it for me. I really wanted to love it, but it just fell pretty flat for me. I loved that we were getting insight into a paraplegics world, but even that didn’t seem to seamlessly fit in but more of a clunky add on. I think I would’ve preferred it if Fin wasn’t all of a sudden the ‘perfect rich gentleman’ but still a bad boy who has managed to get by in life. Part of me is now annoyed that three of the single best friends have not only found perfect partners but they’re all LOADED as if that’s important. I also didn’t fully understand the hesitance and the back and forth as much as I did with the other books. Basically it’s exactly the same plot but with different names and locations. I don’t know I’m really disappointed. It’s definitely still a good holiday read or if you need something fluffy and easy. But London and Hawaii were more enjoyable. That being said, if we get Lily’s story I will still read it! I’m committed to the series now.
