Meet me in Tahiti by Georgia Toffolo a fantasy of a five-star read. This is number three in the Meet me series, but they can be read as stand-alone, I read number one, then some how missed number two, picked this one up and then read number two, I have loved them all. They each have something special about them, making them their own stories while tying the Girls together. I simply adored Zoe and her strength, mental, emotional and physical, even though if you could ask her, she would tell you not to. Zoe brought something special and shiny to the story, and not just her shoes and hairclips, she shone through the story, and Fin allowed her to have the light. I have loved all three of the Meet me series, but this one, this one really had me turning the pages and ignoring everything around me, I can’t wait to re-read this one when I need to escape somewhere warmer.

Meet me in Tahiti is the third book in the Meet me series by reality star and author Georgia Toffolo. The books feature a group of girlfriends, each different book in the series so far has featured the story of one of them with the others being involved or referred to during the story.

In this book we hear the story of Zoe, who readers of books 1 and 2 will have already been introduced to. Zoe suffered life changing injuries in the car crash that all the friends were involved in in their teens and she is now wheelchair bound. This does not stop her travelling the world as a travel writer, although she is yet to deal with the accident and the loss of her dreams, which includes being an author and being with the man of her dreams Finn. Both of them left their childhood homes and haven’t seen each other for many years.

When fate brings them back together again their lives have changed but their feelings for each other have not, even though neither of them can seem to let the other know.

This is a lovely story and the relationships between the girlfriends is deepened more with hearing more about Zoe. They are great friends and always there for each other despite the distance between them abs their different personalities.

The descriptions of Tahiti are lovely and the history of the traditional flowers and stories about the heritage of the people were well written and the romance of the story was well maintained. I look forward to the next instalment.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely love this series of books and I love how each one is set in a different location. This book was focussed on Zoe and I really liked her personality and character traits. For me, the first 40 or so percent of this book was a little slow and the writing very disjointed. I kept having to read bits as I had no idea what they were on about but it seemed that there were stories the characters knew and the readers didn’t which made it very confusing as they were only revealed slowly. Overall, the rest of the book sped by quite quickly and it was an easy, fun and enjoyable read which I would recommend if you like romance books. I still think my favourite of the series is without a doubt meet me in London though, that will take some beating.

The thing about a romance is that you know the ending from the very beginning. So the journey from one to the other must really hold the reader's interest. Sadly, for me, Georgia Toffolo failed to do that to a great enough extent in Meet Me in Tahiti. Reading the first chapter, I realised that I knew the character of Zoe from other books in the series and I was eager to delve deeper. But I was unconvinced by what I discovered about her; the elements didn't seem to hold together.

That aside, I can't say that there was anything bad about the book or the writing; it just didn't hold my interest. Perhaps I was in the wrong frame of mind as I started reading.

Aww its great to see these friends back together again. I like the way series links up so much. This one definitely did not disappoint. Hot, steamy, fun. I do think there is not enough representation of wheelchair uses in stories so really appreciate the diversity of this story and the emotion that comes with it. Such a great story.

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

Another great book in the series from Georgia.

Zoe had an accident when she was eighteen that left her unable to walk again. She tried to come to terms with the fact that Finn the local bad boy broke her heart. She is a successful writer and attends a new hotel in the south Pacific when she realises that the owner is actually Finn. Finn starts to show Zoe the wonders of the South Pacific and the past may not be in the past after all. Can they put the past before them and move forward or will it forever cause problems for their relationship.

This was my first book in the ‘meet me’ series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked the plot, the main characters and the writing style. I particularly liked Zoe’s attitude towards life.

I’ve been cursing the miserable weather lately, yet I was glad of a gloomy day on which to curl up with this book. I do want, and need, to read it again, though, to properly get under the skin of the story and discover the nuances I may have missed. I give this book a sure fire 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️it is extremely well written, clever and has a lot Laugh out loud moments

A brilliant summer read, I loved reading about Zoe’s story, this was a proper love-hate-love story filled with pain, secrets and passion. Looking forward to Lily’s story but will be sad for the series to end 😭

Thank you to @netgalley @millsandboonuk and @georgiatoffolo for this #gifted ARC copy.

Having just finished the second in the series I was keen to dive straight in to this one! If you haven’t seen my review of Meet me in Hawaii, this series focuses on a group of four women who are very close friends, but spread out all over the world. It is Zoe’s turn to take the spotlight in this one. As with the other books, the timeline moves on but we get to find out a lot about the past of each woman as we go through.

Zoe is a travel writer, and travels all around the world writing her blog. Following a serious accident when she was younger, Zoe is now in a wheelchair, and her blog focuses on accessibility for disabled travellers. When we meet her here she is in Tahiti, filling in for a fellow blogger who was unable to take the job. It seems like just another job until Zoe meets a blast from the past who shakes things up a bit and makes her question her past and her present.

This is another cute, warm and fuzzy romance which I loved. I didn’t think this one flowed as well as the previous two for some reason, but I still really enjoyed it even though it was not my favourite of the series so far. Zoe is strong and independent and I thought her disability was well written and portrayed in a way which showed that it did not change who she was as a person. The POV changes between Zoe and her love interest Finn, so we get to see what each character is thinking. There were times when I just wanted them to be brave and go for it which was very frustrating! The setting as always is amazing and the descriptions are in such a way that you can picture the tropical islands and setting sun.

This series is perfect for anyone looking for a light read, a cute summery romance and characters that you fall in love with and root for.

I can’t wait for the 4th in the series to see what happens next!

Synopsis:
Zoe, has spent most of her life fighting a battle having lost the ability to walk in her late teens. Now a carefree and successful travel writer, she is asked to review a new luxury hotel in the beautiful South Pacific. However, on arrival she did not expect to bump into Finn, the one who broke her heart all those years ago and wasn’t there when she needed him the most. Not only did she bump into him, but he owns the hotel too!! Finn knows he has a lot to do to gain Zoe’s forgiveness even if that means delaying his plans just to spend more time with her and help her face the past which she cannot remember.

Opinion:
I have adored Toff’s previous two novels with their lightheartedness and adorable romance. This novel for me felt slightly darker and less on the cute and fluffy side as it is very much centred around Zoe’s disability and her dealing with the trauma of it all. The dual POV was great as it allowed you to see Finns side of the story and how he has had a lot to deal with in his own life. That being said… something didn’t click with me and this book. It felt quite descriptive at times and honestly I skimmed read quite a few pages due to boredom. It was quite difficult to get into at the beginning with me unable to connect with the characters at all and it was maybe at the 60% mark I started to enjoy it a bit more. Perhaps it was down to me expecting similar writing style to the first two as it is supposed to be a series but this one was a little more on the complex side and a slightly darker tone

Zoe, a successful travel writer, is asked to review a resort for a colleague at short notice. Since a tragic accident at eighteen she has been avoiding her family and home town. She gets a shock when she discovers Finn, who broke her heart, owns the resort. They try to avoid each other and the elephant in the room. Both stubborn characters they lock heads and create a lot of tension. Another amazing book(number 3 in the series) from Georgia with the added bonus of a beautiful setting.

Zoe is the friend that receives all the attention in this third installment. I didn't connect with her as a character right away and I'm not entirely sure I can put my finger on why. She was fiercely independent as a way of counterbalancing the fate that life had dealt her, and I think at times this may have been over-emphasised, which made her slightly less accessible. Her readability did improve as the book progressed, but ultimately I didn't find her as likeable as Victoria or Malie.
Similarly, Finn was a character I spent more time pitying than I feel I should have. He was obviously struggling to process a difficult history with Zoe, having more clarity of memory than she did, while trying to balance his new situation with her. It would have been great to see more of his playful side throughout the book to make him a stronger character, because it was there in some of their flirtier moments.
The author did a good job of capturing the fact that these two characters were stuck in the past and truly unable to move on with their lives, without making it completely about each other. The sense of nostalgia was just right against the modernity of their resuming relationship - the language used and the placement of the flashbacks were very effective.
Where I struggled most with this installment was the ending - it felt too sugary and over-the-top given the challenge and resistance that had been so dominant in the rest of the book. I'm a sucker for the happy endings that books like this guarantee a delivery on, but even for me this felt a bit much.
In spite of that, it was still a fairly enjoyable, light read, and I'm looking forward to Lily's installment soon.

Having really enjoyed the previous two books in this series I was looking forward to reading Zoe’s story and I am pleased to say it did not disappoint. Zoe is an interesting character and I felt that her situation regarding her disability was handled with care and honesty. I love second chance romances so to have the hero Finn be someone from back in her past but out of context was really enjoyable to read. I am looking forward to the last book in the quartet and to finding out where Lily really did go for those ‘lost hours’!

3 5 stars rounded up to 4.
I didn't enjoy this as much as the first two by Georgia. It took me a while to get into it. For me the beginning didn't seem to flow well. Once I got past the half way point it started to pick up and by the end it all came together.
After a car accident Zoe is left in a wheelchair but that does not stop her from leading a full life. She is a travel journalist who ends up in Tahiti when one of her Colleagues has to pull out.
It's here that she bumps into Fin whom she has known since her teenage years. They parted on bad terms years ago.
The setting was beautiful, just how I would imagine Tahiti to be.
I liked that Zoe's disability wasn't shied away from and showed how people's perspectives can be very naive in terms of what they can physically do for themselves.
Overall a good beach read and I look forward to hearing Lily's story.
Thanks to Netgalley and Mills and Boon for the ARC in return for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley for my advance copy of this book. It was great to catch up with Victoria, Malie, Zoe and Lily in this book. I really enjoyed Zoe’s story and this is my favourite book of the series.
For readers who haven’t read the rest of the books you can read this as a stand-alone but I think you’d enjoy it more if you read the previous 2 in the series to really understand the characters. I would definitely recommend this book. Thank again NetGalley.

Meet me in Tahiti is the third book in the 'Meet Me' series but can be read as a stand alone if you haven't read the first two.

This third book catches up with Zoe who is on a press junket to a new resort in Tahiti, having not had a chance to do her usual research prior to the trip she is shocked to discover that her teenage crush Finn is the resort owner and so sets the scene whereby they try to avoid each other, before realising that their attraction is too strong to resist.

I liked that Zoe wasn't the usual heroine of the story, she is in a wheelchair after an accident as a teenage and I liked that the story not only showed her falling in love but showed the difficulties that at times she faced and overcame as a wheelchair user. Having read the first two books I also like how each subsequent book gives you a little insight into what is now happening with their lives once they find their happy ever after!

I am afraid I didn't enjoy this book, which was a shame as I had enjoyed the two previous books in this series. I actually DNFed this book.
I couldn't connect with the characters.

Brilliant heroine, sexy flawed hero and a good romp round the beautiful island life. A really sensitive and thought provoking novel, following wheelchair bound Zoe answer her teenage crush neither of whom have quite gotten over what they meant to each other or what they said to each other as youngsters. The details of Tahiti, be it the sand, the food or the fish is amazing and make the book a joy to read.
