Aurora Rose Reynold’s is the queen of Insta Love and one of the only people I love reading it from! This is a great start to the series and I really liked Cybil and Tanner's meet ute.
Cybil and her fiancé have recently ended things, but she’s already paid for a couples retreat in Montana so she packs up her things and spends the week there alone but there she meets Tanner, one of the owner's of the company. The retreat where these two fall for each other is only the first half of the book.
I enjoyed the first half so much. It made me laugh and I loved watching these two grow closer.
There we switch to the second half, where they live in each others worlds. The last half- learning to live in each others worlds (she’s from Oregon and he lives in Montana) and it was just as good.
Wow, even instant coffee takes longer than their love to be ready😂🤦♀️
The insta love was super hard to be convinced by, it felt too rushed to be even considered "fated" or meant to be.
Their chemistry was what saved the day, and the book had multiple lovely scenes. However, the whole thing was so surface level, the characters and plot lacked depth and dimensions, everything was just too good to be true, even with fairytale standards.
One thing that the sold the book to me was the writing, the author definitely knows how to hook you from the beginning, and next thing you know you finished the whole thing in a couple of hours. At least that was the case for me.
The ending was really nice, I knew it was going to be a HEA, but I wasn't ready for the level of wholesomeness.
I'm definitely going to read other books by the author.
*I received an ARC of this book through netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review*
I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.
Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.
However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x
Hello,
Apologies for the late notice, but I have decided not to review this title.
While I am certain it's obvious by now, I wanted to also clear this off NetGalley, so it's not showing as open for either of us.
I look forward to continuing to work with you in 2023 and beyond.

I’m a huge fan of Aurora Rose Reynolds, and have loved all of her books. I jumped at the chance to review the first in her all-new series, Adventures in Love.
Summary:
Cybil thought she knew where her life was headed. Despite losing all of her blood family members, she had a great friend-family that treated her like their own, wonderful friends, a career she believes in, and the boy (now man) she’s always loved. Suddenly, days before one of the biggest days of her life, her fiancé breaks up with her and everything falls apart. Cybil is cast adrift. But she’s determined to get back on track. To jumpstart the new chapter in her life, Cybil will go on what was supposed to be the couples retreat she planned for herself and her fiancé. She doesn’t need a man. She can navigate the changes in her life and come out stronger for it. But she doesn’t anticipate the instant connection she feels with Tanner, the rugged wildlife guide/owner. Now, they're in close contact in the wilds of Montana, and danger could be lurking. Are Tanner and Cybil ready to face their next adventure together?
Rushed is a quick, sweet romance with lovely characters. I really liked Cybil and Tanner, and even got a surprise or two along the way. Cybil is a very sweet heroine. She’s suffered loss, so she holds on tightly to the family she has left. I really loved seeing her character grow and progress on from her grief and stand up to defend herself against those that thought her too vulnerable to make her own choices. Tanner had his own difficult history that also prompted him to make and hold tight to the family he made for himself. I loved seeing his obvious and unshakeable interest in Cybil from the very beginning. As a couple, Cybil and Tanner were sweet, hot, and unwavering in their feelings for each other. I loved that. It’s always good to see a couple grow through trials and tribulations together, learning how to adapt and lean on each other to make it to the other side. At the start, it was also a bit of a forbidden romance, so anticipation had time to mount, making all their interactions just that little bit more tingly. Overall, this was a very enjoyable read. ARR is the master of instalove. She nails it every single time. I loved the story and location it took place in. The supporting cast was every bit as interesting and loveable as our main characters, Cybil and Tanner. There are lots of stories that need to be told, so I’m looking forward to Aurora bringing those to life, too. This is a great start to a new series if you’re looking for that quick, feel-good romance that Aurora is known for. ♡
Cybil ventures out on a solo trip to Montana for a weeklong couples retreat after her fiancé breaks up with her. She is paired up with guide Tanner as her partner. What starts out as a trip to find herself after her breakup, along the way she finds something even better, Tanner.
The undeniable chemistry between the two is hard to deny, even though Tanner has a no fraternizing with customers rule. After a week together they both are ready to put it all on the line to see if their chemistry lasts in the real world.
There are definitely some bumps and hiccups along the way I’m true ARR fashion. But Tanner is a true Alpha and doesn’t hesitate to put it all on the line for Cybil. I loved their story and am so excited for the next book in the series.
I LOVED this book! Aurora Rose Reynolds is one of my favorite authors and I adored this book. I can't wait for more in the series.
This is the first title in Aurora Rose Reynolds’s new “Adventure in Love” series, and I really enjoyed it. It was a sweet and simple romance with likeable characters. . The story was entertaining with very low angst, and held my attention.
Cybil's fiancé breaks up with her after 9 years with no explanation. She decides to go on a weeklong couples retreat in Montana that she was supposed to attend with her ex-fiancé. That’s where Cybil meets Tanner, one of the adventure guides and co-owner of the tour company. Since she doesn't have anyone with her for this couples trip, Tanner couples up with her and they end up sharing one tent the whole time too.
Rushed by Aurora Rose Reynolds is book 1 in the Adventures in Love series. I liked Cybil & Tanner’s romance, but I felt like it was too insta love. I would have loved this had it been more of a slow burn where we see them get to know each other in the wildness with their attraction slowly groining. I also felt like there was so much outside drama, random events (both mysterious & emotional) that ended up taking up too much time in the story, which ultimately took away from the overall focus on their romance. I think this story had so much potential, especially with the tent-sharing aspect. While I enjoyed this, it wasn’t a new favorite.
First things first, it's impossible to deny how stunning this cover is! Unfortunately, the name of this book is perfect for the content. Rushed. This book was relatively short for the content included in the story. There was so much happening, and I just felt like the author rushed things so much! I wanted so much of what happened expanded on immensely. Things happened so fast, it was almost hard to keep up, and make it entirely unbelievable to a point. But all of that said, I enjoyed the concept of the story, and I really liked Cybil and Tanner. I'm planning to read more in the series because this book had so much potential, that I'm hoping these issues were fixed in future stories! Also, I'm hoping to see more of Cybil and Tanner in the future!
This book from Aurora Rose Reynolds is what the world needs right now. Sweet, Fluffy and beautifully written. So much of emotion. This book has all the elements we look for in an excellent romance novel. Cybil and Tanner have chemistry that's off the charts and are just meant to be. They are perfect and sent to each other at the right time.
-5 Stars-
This book was so good1 I really loved Aurora's writing, the character development, the story. Thank you for letting me read and review this book.
There’s nothing like an Aurora Rose Reynolds book. I just love them so much. From the meet cute to the happily ever after and everything in between you can’t help but fall in love right along with the characters
Cybil and Tanner are one of my favorites from Aurora. Their story was so cute. I loved how right off the bat I immediately felt for Cybil and her predicament. But then we meet Tanner and I knew we had nothing to worry about, the story was in good hands when Aurora writes. Cybil is this sweet level headed klutz, she’s honestly such a kind person but she definitely winds up in the worst situations, I loved it. Tanner is this hot and friendly ex marine who you couldn’t help but love. He was hooked on Cybil from the moment she called him a thief and I smiled so hard knowing how hard he was going to fall.
I can’t wait for more in this series!! There’s promise for so much more and the tropes? Chef’s kiss! I love the side characters and I love it even more when there’s a story brewing
I always recommend Aurora’s books and this is no different. Go read this book if you love sweet contemporary romance with a hot alpha man who loves to protect his sweet woman and of course some cute funny scenes in between.
I absolutely love Aurora Rose Reynolds books. They have everything you could want in a romance book.
This story and the main characters were amazing. I can't wait for the next book in this series ❤️
First I want to say, PLEASE let the next book be about Blake and Everly!!!!!
Ok now that's out of the way, my FAVORITE thing about Reynolds books is that the hero and heroine usually get together about half way through the book and then the 2nd half is them and their relationship. This book did not disappoint in that respect. This was an awesome read with wonderful characters. The only reason for a 4 star instead of 5 was the amount of other characters. While I think they weren't all overly talked about, there were so many that I forgot who was who. I'd still recommend this book anyway.
Cyril’s bad timing might have finally changed for the better. No matter what life tossed at her she never expected to enjoy a vacation with the tantalizing Tanner. What an amazing start to the series!
Cybil is a little lost after her fiancé ended their 10 year relationship right before the wedding. The wilderness retreat she previously booked for them is coming up and she decides to go solo. Unfortunately, it is a couples retreat so she is forced to partner with the sexy wilderness guide and she feels an instant connection with him.
Tanner knows it’s against the rules to get involved with the clients, especially when his two business partners keep reminding him. But there’s something about Cybil that makes it impossible to stay away.
Finding your soulmate in the middle of the wilderness seems impossible, but Tanner and Cybil defy the odds.
⇢ the best word to describe this book is sweet. Like ooey gooey, insta-never felt this way before-love, sweet. Cybil is a nice, stubborn girl who is learning to stand on her own two feet and stand up for herself in the process. Tanner is a protective, no nonsense guy who wants to be with Cybil and will do anything to make it happen. This was a refreshingly simple love story that will, without a doubt, put a smile on your face. I’m looking forward reading the rest of the Adventures in Love series!
If you’re looking for a lighthearted, feel good romance I definitely recommend this!
I’ve read roughly 20 books by Aurora Rose Reynolds. She’s a great storyteller, but many of her earlier books - all self-published - were very formulaic. The heroes, the heroines, the storylines...all were fairly predictable and kinda interchangeable. The books were good reads, except you pretty much knew what you were getting from one book to another, especially within a series.
Then a couple years ago she started publishing with Montlake. There isn’t a vast difference in her writing (although things are more polished and there aren’t as many typos/errors), but the alpha-male antics and over-the-top ridiculous situations have toned down. And I am a big fan!
Rushed is a cute, charming, quick read. Cybil is a jilted bride who decides to go on a wilderness trek couples retreat designed to strengthen relationships…despite no longer being part of a couple. Tanner is one of the owners/guides of the adventure company who is certainly attracted to his customer but conflicted about getting involved with her. There’s conflict, peril, and falling in love.
Is their relationship rushed? Eh, maybe a little. 😉 But this isn’t the typical insta-love story with a stereotypical AAR alpha-male hero, the stubbornly reluctant heroine, and a well-used storyline. I’m enjoying this author’s traditionally published books quite a bit and am looking forward to more from this series.
* thank you to NetGalley and Montlake for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review
Rushed by Aurora Rose Reynolds is a wonderful adventure romance that kept me fully engrossed in the story and the characters hopeful happiness. I enjoyed this story very much and won’t hesitate to read more books from this author. The chemistry and longing between the two MCs was portrayed very well and the heat that builds throughout the story added to the plot and overall portrayal of the romance. Loved every word!
4 Stars ⭐️ | 4 Flames 🔥 — I recommend this story!
I am a big fan of Romance books and I found this one to be a very enjoyable read. I will be looking for more books from this author.
