A great family cook book. Easy to follow recipes. Low in fat but high in taste.
Recommend this book. A great all round one.
Thanks to NetGalley for gifting me this book to try out.
Highly recommended.
Who deosn't love a bit of Joe?
Really good family receipes, nothing taxing or ingrediants that cannot be got in the supermarket. A great crowd pleaser in our house.
This was a good family friendly cookbook. Plenty of tasty recipes to choose from with easy to understand instructions, clear colour photographs and nutritional values and contents. It is definitely geared towards family food, and probably more younger kids than older ones, but to be honest the menus could easily be adapted into something similar to cater for all tastes or needs. Well laid out, using ingredients which are fairly cheap and readily available.
This really is food for the family. No ingredients that are so expensive you have to sell your Granny to buy. Quick, easy and healthy. A real winner !
This was fantastic!
I loved the layout of the book and the recipes were very easy to follow. I also enjoyed the fact that the recipes used easy-to-find items.
Many thanks to the author, publisher, and Netgalley for sending me a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
Really enjoyed this family recipe book. It was straight forward and easy to follow with plenty of variety for all my families tastes.
A must have in any house book with great recipes to try out and make with them kids even. We loved it
Another great cookbook from Joe, easy to follow recipes, something for everyone in this book and all split into sections so it’s easy to find what you want to cook.
As a family, we use a lot of Joe Wicks' recipes in our everyday cooking. Set out in short paragraphs with clear instructions and mouth-watering looking photographs, these recipes are easy to follow and produce delicious meals.
Do I really need to review Joe Wicks?
lots of lovely recipes, easy and quick to make, a favourite for everyone.
A great cookbook from Joe Wicks focusing on feeding a young family. This book didn't apply to me as much as previous books as all my children are older. However, this is a perfect book if you have young children and struggle to create healthy meals full of goodness that they will eat.
I was mildly disappointed by this recipe book. None of the recipes really felt like they would work for my very fussy children. I also personally like the recipes to have their calorie and nutritional value information included.
Lovely clean healthy food that you just know is going to make you feel good. No guilt about how many calories you are eating or complicated facts about fat, sugars and nutrition. Simple recipes packed with flavour that you will want to cook again and again. Take a look at his exercise books and youtube,The man was a life saver during the first covid lockdown. He deserves a knighthood.
This is a great recipe book, with loads of easily achievable recipes. I see it as a good book to give to all those young people going off to University.
Great recipes and great variety well organised but his kids are clearly more adventurous then mine!! Will give more a try!
There are quite a few tasty recipes for all the family. Quite a few though with unusual ingredients that I cannot easily get hold of in a small town. Because of that there are only a handful of recipes that I would try. Thank you to the publisher who provided me with a copy, via NetGalley. This is an honest review, opinions stated are entirely my own.
Great book with some lovely recipes. Easy to adapt the recipes aswell if Veggie or any other dietary needs. The recipes were easy to follow.
Nice layout of recipes, good amount of pictures. I find pictures in recipe books very helpful so it's good that this book had plenty to refer to.
This is the second of Joe Wicks cook books that I have and if I’m honest I don’t think this one is as good. Don’t get me wrong, there are things I really like about it, such as the way the book is divided into the different sections. But I don’t think that the recipe selection in this book is as good as the other one I have.
That said, there are a few recipes that I like the sound of and I will be giving them a try, so I’m by no means writing it off all together.
My thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for allowing me to read this book in return for an honest review.
This cook book has some tasty meals in, but it is not a cook book I would regularly reach for. I like how the book is laid out, but I would prefer it if the recipes had calories on them, as I like to make a more educated decision on what meals to cook and when.
This is just one of those cook books I don't think I will be reaching for that often and it doesn't contain enough meals in that I would actually want to cook myself.
This is a great cookbook full of delicious healthy recipes for all the family. Joe Wicks has already worked hard to get us all moving over lockdown with his PE sessions and online exercise classes; this is a great way to keep up the good work by some healthy eating and tasty recipes that your family will love. Salmon and broccoli fritters are a regular in our house now!
