A great story for the romantic at heart! Norah and a friend spent a wonderful holiday singing in Verona. Whilst there, Norah met Andrew a musician, and so began their beautiful but short romance. When they parted they agreed to meet up in 10 years on Christmas Eve, under the clock at Grafton Street in Dublin. Time passes and Norah's Mum has decided to go away for Christmas leaving Norah at a loose end, she thinks fondly of Andrew, will she go? Will be go?

A fun and easy to read holiday romance.

The destination of the plot was predictable, but it did not distract me from enjoying the characters and the story.

The ideal Christmas story to escape into when you need a break from the hectic pace of the holiday season.

This was a gorgeous romance that fills you with such a warm feeling throughout. I absolutely loved the premise, it's one of my all time favourites within books and was swooning when Norah and Andrew finally came to be.

A pleasant easy read, which captures the festive spirit with romance and friendship at the heart.

Unfortunately I'm in the minority of not enjoying this book. I found the writing style to be quite flat and the story line very drawn out. I also agree with other reviews that the book could have easily been condensed down to a short story. But like I mention - I am in the minority

I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

I thought this was a wonderful book that had me hooked from the very beginning. Romantic & warm this is a lovely, light read perfect for cold winter nights. I loved how it had so much hidden history within the story through Norahs memories over the years and flashbacks. Simply a wonderful seasonal read

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Really well written but it just wasn’t for me I’m afraid. I didn’t really click with the plot and I found myself skimming sections to get to the end. But good writing means I’d try the author again

If you want to feel good Christmas story, this is the one to get.

Ten years ago Norah fell in love with Andrew, they had a holiday romance but then went their separate ways,

As in any great story, they agreed that if they were both single ten years on they would meet in Dublin on Christmas Eve.

Norah fondly recalls that memorable summer and her feelings for Andrew. She’s sure he won't remember their agreement, but wants to go anyway.

Joe, her best friend, is coming along, so at least she won’t be there on her own if Andrew doesn’t turn up.

What happens when Andrew and Norah meet up? What will happen with Joe? Is there any Christmas magic to deliver a happy ever after?

A good read as long as you’re happy reading a seasonal romance. I chose to read it in summer but I really think it would be better to snuggle up with in winter. The characters are good and although you could see what was going to happen it’s still enjoyable to follow the story.

I loved everything about this book - it had all things Christmas, hope, love, hurt and connections. It's the perfect read for curling up on the sofa with a hot chocolate over the winter period.

This was such a warm, festive read! I really enjoyed reading about Norah’s character and seeing how much she’s grown as a person.

The romance was sweet but definitely wasn’t the main focus of the book, and I didn’t think they had much chemistry.

As informative as the flashbacks were, I found them to be quite jarring and didn’t always add to the storyline.

Overall, a quick and fun Christmas read that leaves you feeling warm and cheery, but unfortunately wasn’t for me.

A light hearted read based on Norahs journey to love. What would happen if you met up with 'the one' 10 years later. A trip to Dublin reveals feelings Norah didn't even realise she had. A pleasing read to snuggle up in the winter months. Thank you Netgalley.

A nice story about what would happen if you meet up with a past love after ten years to see if it was ment to be. Norah takes her best friend to Dublin to support her over a Christmas meet up with an old flame. Along the way she explores the fact she hasn't resolved her father's death or had a serious relationship. Makes you want to visit Dublin, so many charming places to visit!

Really enjoyable easy read.

Norah aged 22 has a holiday romance. After the holiday though both have to return to their normal lives, 1000s of miles apart. They make an agreement that in 10 years time they will meet again in Dublin. This book follows Norah making her way to Dublin for that 10 year reunion, and on the way comes to terms with a bereavement, and finds a side of herself she has been missing for a while. There is also romance involved.

I liked that Norah was a well written character, and romance novel cliches were avoided. The story also meant cliches around insta love were avoided, and relationships were presented in a realistic way.

I live in Ireland and am from the UK originally so I also enjoyed the details of her journey getting to Ireland, and discovering Dublin. It felt a bit like a tourist advert for Dublin, which I liked. Special shout out to including The Gutter bookshop.

The book is set pre-Covid, so I appreciated descriptions of life in Dublin pre-lockdowns. Made me a little nostalgic.

It wasn't quite a 5 star read for me, and I am not sure why. It's definitely a book I enjoyed, and would recommend if looking for a gentle read. Maybe the gentleness of the read meant it doesn't quite pack a punch? However do seek out, and enjoy the adventures in Dublin.

Although set at Christmas, it is suitable for all year round (I read it in February).

Thanks to NetGalley for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.
