My 5 year old avid dinosaur fan loves this book. Great illustrations and lots of examples of dinosaurs in a modern day context.

This is a really fantastic and comprehensive book about dinosaurs and it has bright and colourful graphics, with lots of educational content. I really loved the book and my daughter did too, although she was a little bit scared of some of the dinosaurs. She was very interested in them though. This would be a great book to have in a school, as it is so knowledgeable and interesting. It is a wonderful book and I highly recommend it!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and Net Galley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was fantastic, I originally requested this book to share with my youngest who is a huge dino fan! It was a bit advanced for her age group but that doesn't mean she didn't enjoy it! The brilliant, brightly coloured pictures meant she could make comparisons herself with visual references. It also provided a great opportunity for biggest and littlest to spend some time together exploring the pages.
The little quick quiz sections kept biggests brain ticking too as she loves a good puzzle! Highly recommended for any inquisitive little dinolovers

Another great book that is perfect for any child that is interested in dinosaurs.
It teaches them about where they lived, how much they weighed, what they ate etc but it was done in a fun way.
There was a lot of information in each page so a younger child's attention might start wandering, but if your child is massively into dinosaurs I think they will love this.
Definitely something I will purchase for when my children start to enquire about dinosaurs

'My First Book of Dinosaur Comparisons' has mostly cute illustrations and is overall pretty colorful, which is suitable for a young target audience. I'd say it's a book for beginners e.g. children who are starting to get interested in dinosaurs. The picture book starts with basic information, which is useful if you're approaching this topic for the first time. The comparisons make it easier to grasp the concept of different dinosaurs. Though there is so much info packed in one page, it can be overwhelming to learn all of it in one go. Quizzes help breaking it up every other page.
Overall it's definitely suited for young readers who start taking an interest in dinosaurs. The style of illustration may not be to everyones liking.
