What a wonderful bright and colourful book that is such a good way to teach children the alphabet. This book focuses on facts about animals not just the letters which is really good and a great choice of animals not your usual selection of t for tiger etc. Wonderful

This was a cute and well illustrated book with vibrant colors to help teach the alphabet as well as animals!
This is such a cute book. The illustrations are great and I love that the animal alphabet coincides with facts about the animals. So many ABC books are for single words and pictures and I loved that each letter page included a sentence or two of an animal fact. The visuals are cute and funny, and in general, the book is more creative than many ABC books. Love it for young learners!
This book is so eyecatching! Young children will love it! I love all the different animals in this fabulous ABC book. Each animal has a fun fact about them. A great learning tool. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.
This is another great children's book from Nikolas Ilic, which has beautiful graphics showing the letters A-Z, which relate to different animals. My daughter and I enjoyed reading this book and she has gone on to read it by herself too a few times. She has enjoyed learning the names of some new animals and she loves how some of the animals look funny.
Many thanks to the author, publisher and Net Galley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Animal ABC is a vibrant book introducing young children to the alphabet. Each page features a brightly colored animal and a unique description for each letter, like for E: "ELEPHANTS love bananas and can even peel their own!" The illustrations are caricatures of animals and sometimes they were a little weird, but overall pretty fun. Toddlers will love this fun book!
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ARC.

Another great, colorful and fun book by this talented artist - the sheer variety of animals made this great to read with young children. I especially liked that many of the animals were not particularly cuddly, but still nothing to strike fear into young hearts. Highly recommend!
This was an amazingly hilarious book and it was so easy and fun to read! I really love the illustrations and it was so interesting to read. I learned quite a bit about animals for each letter of the alphabet.
With bright and original illustrations, Animal ABC is a colourful, imaginative, and fun way to teach young children about their ABCs with some fun animal facts along the way.
I have a one-year-old and a four-year-old, and this is a great book for them to sit and read together. My youngest would love the bright colours, while my eldest would love the funny illustrations and interesting facts.
Ilic is definitely one of the most talented illustrators around at the minute and I could look at his drawings all day. With a “Colours” and “123” edition coming out in the series as well, this is definitely a collection that all parents need to have on their shelves!
A very bright, cute ABC book for the earliest readers. The illustrations are attention-grabbing and quite amusing, which makes this stand out among the variety of similar books. The little animal facts are interesting and funny.
This would be a great shower or baby gift and a good purchase for a pre-K library to help the very youngest kids get used to handling and flipping through books.
Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!
A very bright, eye-catching book that is am alternative way to teach younger children the alphabet.
This book focuses on facts about animals - some of which even I didn't know at my age.
Animal ABC is a funny alphabet primer for babies and young children with silly cartoon animals by Nikolas Ilic. Due out 20th July 2021, it's 26 pages and will be available in boardbook format.
This is a very colorful and appealing book for both the youngest babies and toddlers as well as their caregivers. I have three kids of my own (and assorted nieces, nephews, and other small human friends) and I have experienced the same near-horror of reading "Goodnight Moon" for the 5 millionth time. It's good to have alternatives. This book is fun, unambiguous, creative, and *short* with a nice selection of alphabet animals which are outside the cookie-cutter norm (yes, fox, pig, and zebra are here, but so are narwhal, quetzal, and urial). The art is full of whimsy and humor and the simple text includes some factoid tidbits (narwhal's tusk is actually a tooth! who knew?).
Very cute book, well written and full of adorable animals. Rugged boardbook format. I like it!
Five stars.

Added to NG Review only: This review was for a duplicate listing on the NG website for (apparently) the same book in the same format with pricing for US and UK releases. Comparisons of the two download eARCs show complete similarity. (So I've copied and pasted my review to both listings). This is for the UK release copy.
