I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

Bree makes a detour in her road trip across Australia to attend a wedding. Little did she know the billionaire jilted groom would then tag along for the ride! Watching a friendship develop into more is heartwarming. A well written storyline.

Just love mills and boon books!

When Bree Allenby breaks her road trip to attend the wedding of her brother’s best friend, she doesn’t expect to be making a quick exit with jilted groom Noah Fitzgerald. Spending days with the billionaire is not what Bree was expecting, and neither is their spark of attraction, but it has them both rethinking where they’re going in life!

Billionaire’s Road Trip to Forever is the perfect friends to lovers romance trope!

The story has it all - heartbreak, adventure, romance and sadness! An absolute whirlwind of emotions.

I loved the relationship between Bree and Noah, even as just friends the friendship was powerful and really drew you in.

The True Love Series by Mills and Boon are great for romance lovers and this is a fabulous addition! This is the first book I have read by Michelle Douglas and I really like her writing style as it’s easy to read and has good humour.

An enjoyable friends to lovers romance with likeable characters. Jilted at the altar, Noah has no choice but to join Bree on her road trip to get away from the fallout of his cancelled wedding, and what follows is an entertaining trip across Australia as we see the two discuss their pasts and realise that maybe their happy ending has been right there all along, if only they can look past the obstacles they are both putting in the way. The road trip element adds atmosphere and Noah and Bree are likeable enough to allow the reader to root for them to find a future together.

His wedding is cancelled at the ceremony.

Her best childhood friend and honorary brother in her family, needs to escape the fiasco and the media attention.

She was going on a solo trip to meet her best sister girl friend, while contemplating the vast changes and commitments that are just about to happen in her life.

Together they travel and come to terms with the past, the present and their growing recognition of the deep love and attraction they both feel.

Their admitted feelings, come with the great fear that their family dynamics may be altered if a relationship was to fail. Both personally, professionally and friends and family wise. But on the recognition of their love and breaking the news to the family. They are met with, about time, from them and their friends, who had always seen that the two of them were ment to be together.

With a happy ever after ending in this emotional romantic story of love, loss, laughter and happiness for the future.

When Noah is left at the alter he decides to lick his wounds by getting away with Bree his best friends sister for an epic road trip. Throughout their journey their conversations start to get more personal and as they delve deeper into each others past they both start to realise just how attracted to each other they are but for the sake of their friendship they try to fight it.
I enjoyed the story, even though it followed a known format - boy and girl friends for ever, slowly realise the other ones attractiveness, fight it, end up falling in love. I felt that the story was a nice easy read - perfect for those lazy days you just want to relax with a good book

I would like to thank Netgalley, Mills and Boon and Michelle Douglas for an e arc copy of this book.
I really enjoyed the story of Bree and Noah. We meet them both at Noah’s wedding. Things happen and they end up on a road trip to Tasmania together. I loved their connection and friendship. They were able to talk to each other about life and where they were. They both embraced the road trip and all the things they saw and experienced.
Bree has been hiding something from her family, as the journey progresses, we learn more about why she is going to Tasmania and what it will mean for her life. I really loved the reason and the way she dealt with the situation.
Noah is a lovely character who listens and supports Bree and also shows her how fun life can be.
Would recommend this book.

A well-written friend to lover romance where Bree and newly jilted Noah go on a life-changing road trip. Bree's original reason for the road trip leads to some poignant, thought-provoking moments. The road trip setting is a bonus with great descriptions.

Bree and Noah are likeable characters with emotional baggage, which they open and discard as the journey progresses. A sweet romance about friendship, parenting, and taking a chance on love.

I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

very cute and had some nice unexpected flourishes that keeps you reading to the end. A newly single man and his close single female friend take a road tip - the ending isnt a surprise however the tale is told well. Some interesting emotional moments and a tender friendship that is explored in cheap motels, driving across the antipodes and in the odd posh restaurant!

Sweet, emotional but not hot. Bree and Noah have been friends (almost family) for years and take a road trip together after his fiancé dumps him at the alter. During the ensuing trip they both discover feelings they never knew they had.
On the whole I found th romance comfortable rather than sizzling and both characters were sweet but I found constant self deprecation rather irritating. Would have preferred not to have the epilogue as I found it rather dismissive of Tina- almost as if she was forgotten.
Overall: enjoyable rather than must-read.

This is a new writer to me and I am going to read more of her books as I liked her writing style and really enjoyed reading the story which is, on the whole, well-paced, emotional, and well written.

Noah's fiancee jilts him at the altar after 2 years; and family friend Tilly allows him to accompany her on her road trip, so he can escape the media frenzy. On the journey, they get to know each other better and Noah comes to realize he never loved his fiancee but loves Bree.

So far so good except that Bree rightly thinks Noah is on the rebound and therefore his feelings can't be trusted. She treats him badly, and then changes her mind and flies back to tell him she loves him.

Amid this romance, we have Tilly agreeing to bring up Tilly after her mother Tina dies (which is quite imminent) and Tina's parents agreeing to move so that Bree can be close to her family for support after Tina dies.

How smoothly that all clicked into place. I'm sorry, but that entire story felt manipulative and exploitative. Tina was simply a plot device allowing Bree to find a purpose in life - looking after her friend's daughter. This was such a serious issue and should have merited a much deeper and respectful approach. I just felt it didn't fit into a Mills and Boon category romance.

Another huge issue which catapulted me out of the story was that once Bree has decided there is no future for her and Noah - I was appalled when, (understanding how much Noah wanted her physically and emotionally), she insists he shares a cabin with her on the ferry to help a family! This was the exact opposite of the caring, sensitive woman we believed her to be. What a cruel, thoughtless thing to do. I went right off her then.

However, I have to admit hat despite several qualms about the storyline and the characters. I suspended disbelief for most of the time and just enjoyed the ride (sorry for the pun) along with Bree and Noah as they travelled to visit Tina and Tilly.

I find it hard to rate this story. The quality of the writing rates 4 stars but my qualms about the cancer/death plot element, reduces it to 3 stars.

It is still a good read.
