I really like this series, it's exciting, has action, and some hot moments between characters. The storyline is great!

In this book Tessa, Lexi's friend, is in desperate need of someone to liquidate her dad's gold since he's in hiding and it must be done in three days. Lexi suggests Dare, who unbeknownst to Tessa is Nash's brother, to help her.
From the moment they meet its fireworks. Follow these two in their adventures to get this done.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

An entertaining read, this is the second book in the series, I really enjoyed the first, I don’t think you have toread them all to enjoy this but it’s definitely a better read if you choose to. Tessa and Dare are great characters, with real chemistry, it’s got a great plot with twists and turns, it’s a wonderful romantic suspense book.

Thank you netgalley for sending me and ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Though this is the second book in the series I don't feel as though you need to read the first one and can read this as a standalone. This Novel follows Tessa's and Dare's story. I enjoyed the chemistry between the two characters, This was a fun easy romance read with the right level of spice and chemistry between the two of them. The other books follow the rest of Dare;'s siblings and it is a series I would like to continue with.

He’s deadlier than sin, and her one chance at survival.

Tessa George has three days to sell six gold bricks before Lionsgate Kinship’s men kill her father—and then her. The tall, dark, and insanely hot black-market dealer wants nothing to do with her deal. Turns out selling four million dollars’ worth of gold is too much heat for a criminal. But when the men from Lionsgate find and torture her, the scandalous thug shows up.

Dare Holmes shouldn’t want a damn thing to do with Tessa, her father, or her gold. Not his circus. But her emerald-green eyes and sexy body call him back to her door. He’s thrust into the mess her father left her, but he can’t walk away. Not when being around her is an aphrodisiac and the thought of not being near her makes his chest ache. When they discover what her dad was involved with, the stakes become downright perilous.

Lionsgate’s men are on their heels. The bodies pile up in their wake. And one devastating revelation derails everything they thought they knew. As their attraction to each other grows, Tessa and Dare fall into a race against time—one that perhaps neither of them will survive.

Interesting story overall with some unlikeable characters for me but with a romance that kept me invested throughout the book.

This was my first Samantha Wilde read and while it didn't blow my socks off, it was a fun action adventure.

Dare and Tessa have a chemistry that is hard to deny so they don't and both know that it is going to lead to nothing but trouble.
This is a fast-paced journey and you just might get whiplash from all the twists and turns and names that come into play. The other Holmes brothers are all over this story and make me want to know so much more. I am really enjoying this series.

This book was interesting even though I didn’t read the first one. There was chemistry with the characters and I enjoyed them. It was well written.

This is the 2nd book in the brothers series. I did miss the first one, which I think it would have benefited me to have read first. That said, I did enjoy this book. Tessa and Dare had good chemistry throughout the book. Tess needs to get rid of some gold of her fathers and enlists the help of Dare who is familiar with this side of the law being a black market dealer. Even with Dare’s help, they are in deep. This is a great romantic suspense book.

I enjoyed this book! Read it right after Unchained. I know, I know, I'm not reading in the right order - but here's the good news: it's not necessary! You can read these books as stand alone's, as the major plot line that connects the books is explained enough to get the gist.

So basically, Traced is a steamy romance with plot twists, action, and a lot of winning romance tropes (like forced proximity). I quite liked that Dare's a black market dealer, that was a new one for me. I would've liked to see a bit more of that setting. I absolutely loved the sexual tension between those two MC's, as well as them trying to navigate their lust/love feelings. I also appreciated that Tessa was portrayed as a strong woman (stepping into a world she never knew of while trying to help her father) who's also sensitive and can let her emotions in when needed. I quite liked that trauma sensitive aspect of the story.

It's a five star rating, just because the plot was entertaining, I liked both MC's, the writing was good, and -again- the sexual tension was amazing. It certainly ticked the boxes of an entertaining, steamy romance book!

This was my first Wilde novel and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I feel like I want to go back and read book 1 because I just love Lexi and her hot husband. Their cameos in this book are so sweet, I just want to get to know them more! That being said, this novel could absolutely be read as a stand alone and not having read book 1 did not affect my understanding in any way.

Where do I begin?

This is a fast paced, steamy 🔥, suspenseful read where a new thing seems to happen in every chapter.

Plot: Tess is desperate to sell the gold her father left her. When she manages to find a black market dealer, she finds that she’s signed up for more than she’d ever expected.

Date is an alpha: he is dominant, strong and powerful. I can’t find a single fault in his character. The man is drool worthy and decides he’s going to help sell Tess’ gold.

Things get complicated when there are multiple attempts at Tess’ life, kidnappings and illegal arms deals. Tess and Dare don’t know who to trust while struggling to stay alive.

This book was such a joy. I loved how fast paced, smutty and adrenaline-filled this book was. The characters are well thought out and loveable. Their relationship development is realistic and absolutely adored the epilogue.

I have deducted one star because I found Tess incredibly irritating at times. She has no prior experience of combat etc but always, very stubbornly, wanted to be involved in the dangerous action. She caused a number of problems for Dare and I know she needs to be involved as the main character…but damn it- I wish she was a little more sensible.

This doesn’t mean that I didn’t love her and Dare as a couple of course. I will definitely be reading book 3 to find out what has happened to Lexi’s missing brother.

Thank you Samantha Wilde and NetGalley for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

The second book in the Blood Brothers, Bound brings us Dare Holmes and Tessa George’s story. Dare is a black market dealer and Tessa the owner/operator of a yoga studio, and when Tessa seek help from Lexi and Nash (Dare’s brother) a series of events are put in motion that will result in things being worse than first thought. Deceit, betrayal, friendship, and romance, Traced is a fast paced, well delivered story and a great sequel to Bound.

While this is the 2nd book in the series & I haven't read the 1st book the author gave enough detail to pick up the storyline. Tessa's Dad is in trouble & needs her to sell some gold, and Dare's her contact, but then everything goes wrong. This is a well-written book with a creative story & interesting characters. Dare's brothers play a big part in the book and their bond shows up throughout the book. I would definitely read the first book (if possible) before reading this one, just to get the whole story.

I received this ARC for an honest review.

The second book in the series has Tessa needing to sell gold bricks to save her father. The problem is that the dealer she is working with wants nothing to do with her, but at the same time can’t get her out of his mind. With people after them first her mainly, they then find out what her father is or was into and now he is working at saving her before he can even try to sell the bricks for her.
The heat between them along with a fast-paced story keeps this book moving along. Plenty of action and the banter back and forth will have you go through this story quickly. This is just a fun fast-paced story with many different characters.

A steamy romance that is a fast paced and easy read that romance readers will enjoy. It reads like a romantic suspense or thriller with lots of action.

Tessa has to unload a ton of gold onto the black market after her father left it to her and vanished. She turns to Dare, the man who has the connections she needs. But there are lots of people after the gold, and her father, and they will do anything to get their hands on Tessa. Dare must protect the woman who asked him for help, the woman he is falling for.

This book is technically a sequel but reads as a standalone. The first book in the series followed Dare’s brother, Nash. Nash and his love are characters in this book too but I never felt like I had to read the first book to understand what was going on.

It had plenty of steam and good chemistry. It was a pretty standard action romance and it was a good book but didn’t blow me away. Enjoyable and romance readers will like it too.

Oh hell yes! I had just finished-and loved- my first encounter with Samantha Wilde in Bound, when I saw the sequel, Traced, popping up on Netgalley.

And, same as with Bound, I would add the label suspense to this book. And although you can read this story as a standalone, I would highly recommend that you read the series. After Nash, we now read the story of Dare, his brother. He is propositioned by a feisty woman, who boldly asks him to sell gold bars for her. Turns out, Nash’ woman Lexi is a friend of Tessa. Tessa knows her father has lived a shady life. But the last few years, he has retired. When her dad disappears, however, he asks her to help him escape from the clutches of Lionsgate Kinship’s men. Or they will kill him. In order to do so, she needs the gold bars converted into cash and pronto.

Enter Dare: the mysterious and oh-so- handsome-in-a- broody-way connection of Lexi. Too bad she doesn’t trust him and apparently he doesn’t trust her either. But after they part their ways, Lionsgate men capture Tessa and torture her. And surprisingly, it is Dare who rescues her. Dare knew the moment he laid eyes on her, that she was trouble. But still, he had to go and rescue her. Now, they are both on the run. And while uncovering the mess that Tessa’s father has left behind, their attraction is growing.

Same as with Bound, Traced is not for the faint of heart. But if you like suspense, this one is definitely for you. And also keep your eye out for Unchained. The next book in the series, which will be published in October! Five out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

I liked the chemistry between Dare and Tessa right away. This is definitely action packed from the beginning and steamy. Tessa’s dad entrusts her to take bricks of gold and exchange it for cash for him. She has to find a black market dealer and her friend suggest someone to her. Dare at first turns her down until he finds out she is a friend of his brother’s fiancé and goes back to her place the next night only to be there to save her from being kidnapped or killed. He takes her to his place and the chemistry starts.
This was a quick read because I couldn’t stop turning the pages! It’s heart pounding exciting and steam inducing!
I would definitely recommend this book and the series!

TRACED is the second instalment in Samantha Wilde’s contemporary, adult BLOOD BROTHERS erotic, romantic suspense series. This is black market dealer Dare Holmes, and yoga studio owner Tessa George’s story line. TRACED can be read as a stand alone but for back story I recommend reading the series in order.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Dare and Tessa) TRACED follows Tessa George, as she is tasked by her father, to locate and cash in millions of dollars in gold bars but Tessa’s father is in hiding, having betrayed the group of which he is a member. Lionsgate represents a portion of the criminal underworld involved in money laundering, human trafficking and illegal arms dealing, and Tessa’s father needs his daughter’s help, help that she is ill-equipped to manage. Enter black market dealer Dare Holmes, and the man with whom Tessa will fall in love. What ensues is the search for the gold, and the potential fall-out as both Tessa and Dare find themselves targeted for sins of the father.

Tessa George has no idea how deep her father’s involvement goes with the criminal organization known as Lionsgate but when her best friend Lexi’s father is killed and her brother is missing (BOUND #1), Tessa goes to Lexi and her boyfriend for help. Dare Holmes wants nothing to do with Tessa George, especially when he discovers her father’s involvement with the Lionsgate group but Tessa is in over her head having not once but twice been targeted by some very scary men. Reluctantly agreeing to help Tessa George, Dare quickly realizes they have bitten off more than they can chew.

The relationship between Tessa and Dare begins as a job, a job Dare refuses until Tessa finds herself facing the wrong end of a gun. Desperate to protect the woman with whom he is falling in love, Dare is forced to into a job that could threaten the job he loves but as Dare and Tessa are pulled deeper into the criminal underworld, Tessa will soon discover that all is not as it appears to be. Stubborn ‘til the end, Tessa refuses to walk away when the going gets tough. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters include Dare’s brother Nash, and his girlfriend Lexi (Bound #1), as well as Tessa’s father Warren George and his right hand man Trey. The requisite evil has many faces.

TRACED is a story of betrayal, secrets and lies; power and control, family, friendships, relationships and love. The fast paced premise is intriguing and twisted; the characters are animated and spirited; the romance is provocative and seductive.
