I loved this book even more than I loved the previous ones in the series.
Over the years , Iโ€™ve read almost all of the authorโ€™s backlog and this is definitely my favourite one by far.
Same smart and funny dialogue, steamy scenes and some very down to earth reality check.
Another must read for sure.

The Casanova by T.L. Swan was a great read that kept me captivated from start to finish. Kate
and Elliott were amazing and I just loved them. They had great banter and interactions and that just charmed me. They work together and do not like each other, right? When she joins a dating app and meets someone she connects with, she is happy there is someone out there she can connect with. Then Elliott changes with Kate. What does this mean?

I loved their journey so much. It was fun, steamy and I just devoured it.

Happy reading!

This is an enemies-to-lovers, office romance and is the third in a series. I haven't read anything else by the author, but I read an excerpt that sounded good and was eager to read the book. Elliot was your typical billionaire alpha hole, but I don't mind that as long as the heroine isn't a pushover. Initially, Kate seemed to be a smart, strong heroine who was giving as good as she got, so I settled in to enjoy the sparks and the push and pull between them.

As the book went on, it seemed like both leads underwent a personality transplant. Kate, who started out strong and sassy, slipped into helpless, whiny mode, while Elliot revealed his mushy, dreamer inner self. By this time, I was really liking Elliot, while Kate seemed to be regressing to her teen self and had definitely slipped a few notches in my esteem.

Unfortunately, at about 85% into the book, Elliot did something that I could not overlook or forgive. I could not figure out how the author could redeem him and even started wondering whether his HEA was meant to be with another character entirely. In the end, Elliot groveled quite nicely, but honestly, at that point, I was out of there. I didn't believe in their relationship and felt that the Kate we met at the beginning of the book would have kicked him to the curb and never taken him back. In reading a few other reviews, it sounds like the seeds of this episode were planted in earlier books, which makes Kate and Elliot's happy ending seem even more unlikely. I guess this book (and probably this author) just aren't my cup of tea.

Elliot Miles, in charge of Miles Media in London and known as The Casanova to the media.

Kate Landon is the IT manager for Miles Media and absolutely despises Elliot.

This office place romance starts with both characters bickering so much that everyone knows that they hate each other. TL Swan knows how to drag you into a start right from the first chapter.

Once Elliot sees Kate all dressed up in a sexy red dress, everything changes for him. Tension and chemistry skyrockets between the two and its so enjoyable to read.

I really enjoyed reading this book. TL Swan has set the bar high with the other two books in the series but I really fell in love with Elliot. He's dominate and alpha in all the good ways. I loved the character growth in Kate because it shows that love doesn't always solve all problems. Sometimes you need time alone to figure things out.

The Casanova is book #3 in The Miles High Club series by T L Swan. This is Elliot Miles' book and oh wow! He is a mix of his brothers yet sexy-as-sin and a romantic at heart. His heroine is Kate and theirs is an enemies-to-lovers romance. Kate works as an an IT manager at Miles Media. She is someone who speaks her mind, really kind; did suffer a huge loss 6 years before which still colors her life now.
Elliot is seen as a womanizer; as a brash, charismatic, dominant, and cutting figure. Because of how he comes across the media has given him this title in the press as " The Casanova" . Kate can't stand Elliot. She finds him to be totally loathing. So she just lets her mouth run away whenever she's in his presence because he sets off her temper like no other. It's the littlest things that bring change- Elliot saw Kate in a sexy red dress and his thoughts regarding her changed. We see Elliot go from not liking her to wanting her! He was cruel and nasty to her to heated and hot ๐Ÿ”ฅ with her.... the twists and turns this book had was great! It wasnโ€™t just an enemies-to-lovers workplace romance but also a subplot regarding Elliot looking for a mystery artist, the 7 year age difference between Elliot and Kate and then there's "Edgar" and "Pinkie Leroo".
Great as well seeing the Miles brothers making appearances in the book. Amazing ending. I am so looking forward to the last Miles bros book.

My Rating: 4.5 stars ********

Yet to be disappointed in the Miles High Club series! Kate as a FL was a lot of fun. Independent, fiesty, competent, and human. She was an awesome character. I admired how little of Elliot's BS she took honestly. This could have been a perfect contemporary romance but the ending soured it for me. And although there was groveling after, it still left a sour taste in my mouth.

Overall, I had fun.

This novel is sexy, emotional and an absolute delight. T..L. Swan's Miles Brother (Mile High Club) series is so well crafted, the perfect blend of humor and emotion, with characters that charm and delight. Swan's writing is accessible, well paced and engaging throughout. I think she does a wonderful job of bringing to life these brothers and making them work hard for their HEAs. Swan's characters feel fully realized and three-dimensional, and she does a wonderful job of giving us glimpses and moments with past beloved characters and getting us excited for the next Miles Brother to fall in love.

This novel is Elliot and Kate's love story, it is about two people who have expectations for their lives and want that perfect fated love story. Kate is the head of IT at Miles Media in London where Elliot is the CEO. These two got off to a rocky start so they have alway had a bit of a strained relationship at work. This mild hate to love relationship blossoms when both Miles and Kate start to see each other in a new light as well as begin to explore wanting more out of their current situations.

Their relationship is really fun to watch grow as Elliot begins to realize that Kate is a beautiful woman. He starts to see her in this new way as she grows confidence in herself through her friendships with her roommates. Watching Kate and Elliot dance around each other before they officially take the jump into a physical relationship is super fun, because they both are great at testing the other's patience. I really enjoyed watching their physical relationship grow into something stronger as they learn that they like spending time together and getting to know each other. I love that Kate makes sure that Elliot understands he must communicate with her and that he can not bully his way through a problem. Their relationship is really beautiful because they are able to help each other find the true meaning of home, learn how to better communicate and learn how to provide strength and patience.

I would highly recommend this novel and then other's in this series. The Miles Brothers are such a fun group of independent men who are destined to find the perfect women for them. I can not wait for the next installment in this series!

This is my first book by this author and Iโ€™ve not read the previous two books in this series but I
had no problem with The Casanova as it was a completely stand-alone story within this series. I love a good enemies-to-lovers romance and this one did not disappoint. I read and enjoyed this book within a day โ€ฆ maybe two.

I have to say I went into this book not excepting to like it more than Tristan's book (The Takeover) but its right there with it. I enjoyed it way more than I was prepared for. I have already gone back and read it again. I laughed out loud and wanted to scream at the characters in the best way. Each book TL Swan releases just keeps getting better and better and I can not wait for the next installment of the Miles High Club.

The Casanova was one of my most anticipated romances for 2021. Unfortunately it was hard to connect with the characters and the plot was a little too convoluted to be enjoyable. I finished the book with most questions that answers, feeling incredibly unsatisfied with how the romance played out.

The moving pieces of this book felt so messy compared to The Stopover and The Takeover (one of my favorite romance of all time).

There was the enemies to lovers aspect to Elliot and Kate's relationship that I felt was never quite enough to justify their antagonism toward each other. Both characters really turned me off with how they behaved in the beginning. Then once they started their friends with benefits situation, it took me a while to feel the emotional connection between these two.

Moving onto the pen pal plot. I didn't like this at all. It felt a little ridiculous the once it was used as a way for Elliot to ask Kate's permission to see his dream girl in case SHE was the actual love of his life. It felt icky. If being pen pals and antagonistic co-workers was the entire plot, I could see how that would work, but it felt like such an unnecessary layer.

The sister *sigh* was probably my least favorite development of this book. Kate felt like a strong (albeit frustrating at times) character in the beginning, but I didn't love the way she let her sister walk all over her. Her sister has no redeeming qualities and should have been cut off from both Kate and her brother. I don't understand why Kate continued giving her sister chances after what she did with their parent's house.

Finally, we have the mystery of Elliot's favorite artist/the mystery blonde woman which... is Kate's sister selling her art for millions of dollars on the sly. What?! When was it ever telegraphed that Kate was remotely interested in anything artistic. Her job is literally the opposite of creative (IT) and she never once thinks about painting or drawing the entire time we are getting to know her. It was brushed off by the fact that Kate considers her pieces just doodles and things she messed around with when she was younger, but obviously they are subjectively good enough for her hateful sister to sell in art galleries, pretending to be the artist, and make over 20 million dollars off of her sister's property. FOR YEARS!

Elliot's choice to seek out the artist once he know she is the same blond woman he has been chasing at art galleries for years is both understandable and kind of despicable. What did he think Kate's (Pinky) response would be. Would he have not gone if Pinky told him it was a bad idea, that he should stay with Kate and forget about the blonde woman?

And of course he had zero chemistry with Kate's sister. She is literally the worst human ever! So yeah, while I understand needed to have closure with a woman you've been chasing for years, asking your current girlfriend for her blessing via your not-so-secret pen pal persona was not it.

I'm glad Kate took the time away to discover herself and Elliot gave her the space, but I felt completely unsatisfied by how everything played out.

It didn't help that my expectations before the synopsis was revealed revolved around Elliot and the blonde mystery woman as his love interest. Did TL Swan feel like that kind of plot wasn't as exciting? I don't need ten layers of drama to find a story interesting. Very disappointed.

Wow. This was really steamy. Not my cup of tea, but if you're into TL Swan, you won't be disappointed.

This book was alternately funny and had moments where I needed some serious tissues. I was amused by their ongoing feud at work, which turned into steamy sex when they finally took things in that direction. And I really enjoyed the friendship between their online personas, those profiles were funny. But goodness when the heartbreaking moments came they were powerful. I wanted to kick the guy where it would truly hurt. And I wanted to kick someone else too, but that would be a spoiler and I don't do those. The ending was beautiful, and the happiness they found was true. I'm glad they survived all that happened and became better for it. #netgalley #thecasanova

TL Swan is one of my fave authors. Her books give me life and make me swoon ohhh soooo much. Her stories are just amazing and they NEVER disappoint!!!

This book..... I was laughing so much till i was crying and nearly peeing my pants. You know its a great book when the author can get you laughing. But there's also the romance between Elliot and Kate which was so so good.

Yet again TL releases another amazing read.

These Miles brothers are certainly something! I still have a soft spot for Tristan but Elliot was definitely jockeying hard for the top spot.

๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ˆ๐ญโ€™๐ฌ ๐€๐›๐—ผ๐ฎ๐ญ: Elliot, Casanova Miles, is the intimidating and sexy alpha CEO of Miles Mediaโ€™s European division. His head of IT, Kate, has a Cinderella moment at an event thanks to her new flatmate, and catches Elliotโ€™s eye. He begins to pursue her and she helps him uncover his ability to love and be loved. The only challenge is can he forget about this mystery woman who has been an object of his desire at random art auctions in his pursuit for a reclusive artistโ€™s collection over the years once he has started to make things official with Kate.

๐Œ๐ฒ ๐“๐ก๐—ผ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ฌ: There is A LOT going on in this book. It is a lengthy read and although there are a lot of side plots (Like 4-5) going on, T.L.โ€˜s storytelling made it fairly easy for me to follow.

The first 50% to me was so great - I for sure thought this was going to be one of my top reads this year.. but the back half kind of frustrated me. You had personality/character shifts that struck me as negative vs. seeing more of a character arc where they endeared themselves to me. I donโ€™t like it when it seems like this happens for no reason or a due to a random plot point coming to fruition.

I figured out the little twist at about 78% through the book. It took me this long because it came out of left field - seriously. There was no indication or hint at all which made it a little hard for me to believe.

๐ƒ๐—ผ ๐ˆ ๐‘๐ž๐œ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—บ๐ž๐ง๐: Yes - especially if youโ€™re a huge T.L. Swan fan. It has the steam and heat that youโ€™re used to and the swoony dreamy heroes that she writes so well!

A big thank you to NetGalley and Montlake Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I liked this book. I was sort of surprised as the male lead is sort of a butt. He comes across that way at first anyway. I loved Kathryn!! She is a hoot. I enjoyed the interactions between Kathryn and Daniel. Her sister is not a nice person! Spoiler sorry...4 stars

This is the 3rd book in a series. I enjoyed the first book, LOVED the second and liked this one. The dynamic between Kate and Elliott was interesting however I wonder how realistic it would be to speak to an employee and a boss the way these two did, not sure that it would work in the real world. I like the character of Kate, she was a strong woman and Elliott was winning me over until the last 20%, then he lost me completely and I don't know how he could come back from what he did,....... Overall it was an ok read and it held my interest.

This is the third installment of the Miles High Club. Each installment keeps me loving these beautiful Miles men! Elliott is very private, standoffish and known as the Casanova of the Miles men. But he's just trying to protect his privacy in a very public life. Kate is a strong woman with a tragic past who works for Miles Media and has a take no crap attitude. They have a love/hate relationship in this enemy to lovers romance. I love their banter and chemistry. This story had me laughing out loud at times and holding back tears at others. Let's not forget the plot twist in this emotional roller coaster to their HEA. Great job once again TL Swan

I haven't read much by this author, but that will change after reading this book. The author's writing voice appealed to me in a way that few do. The book's pace was done well, and the ability for her to differentiate between what was being sent by text as opposed to the conversation was well done.

This book really has two focuses. One focuses on the interaction between the two characters, and the second focuses on their ability to be unknowingly vulnerable with each other through the screen. Elliot and Kate have strong personalities that do not match well when together in a room but are perfect when talking to each other through a computer. I love how Swan slowly meshes these two focal points that allow the characters to find a way to be around each other without constantly pushing each other's buttons. There is a bit of a twist that I did not see coming but did really round out the story.

Elliot and Kate are well-written characters with many layers that need to be peeled back to see the whole picture. However, swan takes the time to work through the layers to give us well-developed characters who become fun to read and easy to fall in love with. Do not be mistaken that Elliot is anything more than a true Alpha male who wants to dominate. However, there is just something about Kate that helps draw out a softer side.
