T.L. Swan is a recent discovery for me- I’ve loved her super steamy, somewhat angsty, often humorous romances that seem to have such a particular flair. Highly consumable- and highly entertaining. But, unfortunately, this one was a bit of a miss for me.

It started out incredibly promising - I was hooked immediately by the entertaining dynamic between IT team member Kate and her sexy boss, CEO of the London Miles Group. Firey chemistry, flirty and heated banter, tension galore- all the things I love about a enemies to lovers story. Eliot is initially a pompous, frustrating alpha boss and Kate is sassy and clever- and a really delicious chemistry is brewing between them, particularly as Kate starts flirty with what might be Elliot's sweeter and charming swoony-worthy online alter ego on a dating site.

Giddily, I couldn’t stop turning the pages, and while I still flew through this story, I found parts of it disappointing to me personally. Overall, it just felt too long and the drama dragged out in places, and while I found the characters captivating early on, the more their story unfolded, the more I found that I was frustrated with them- almost like they regressed into themselves instead of growing as characters. Kate who started as such a compelling and strong heroine loses a lot of her spark- walked on by her despicable sister and ultimately by Elliot. And Elliot, oh Elliot. I have a hard time still seeing him as a true Casanova for Kate after some really frustrating decisions. The end of the book hit you with a lot of drama and some twists that while Kate may have forgiven, I’m not sure I would. But alas, this is not my love story, it’s theirs- I’m glad they had their HEA and their journey was an interesting one, just not my favorite from TL Swan. But the steam level is HIGH and super yummy.

I’ve loved this series- and even if this third book is my least favorite of the three, TL’s writing continues to compel me to come back for more!

If you are a fan of steamy love scenes and complicated relationships, this is the book for you. Not sure I'd want a boyfriend/husband like Elliott but obviously Kate can handle him. Read this in one sitting as I couldn't put it down. Also loved Pinko and Edgar, but you'll have to read the book to find out why.

Elliot Miles is exactly the kind of hero you would probably never want to give the time of day to in real life, but makes for a fantastic love interest in your romance book. I loved the interactions between him and Kathryn in the beginning and how they rubbed each other the wrong way so that they both brought out the worst in each other. The chemistry is intense and this book is everything I look for in a romance - fun, angsty and steamy!

This is the third book in The Miles High Club series, but definitely a standalone - however all of these books have been great reads so I recommend reading them all! This is my favorite of the series so far!

I received an Advance Reader Copy and have voluntarily left an honest review.

The dual relationship was a great twist on a traditional trope! Elliot & Kate were perfectly imperfect people! TL Swan...you did it again!

Fated for love
I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience with this author! This book is a true enemies to lovers experience. There are so many poignant moments and sets of prose that brought me to tears, they were interspersed with blasts of fiery anger and equally fiery passion, not to mention those moments of sheer joy and laughter, all of which combined perfectly making it impossible to put down until the very end. I love the family ties and the characters captured my imagination as well as my heart. This book was everything I hoped for and so much more! I can’t wait to read the previous books in the series and look forward to seeing what happens next.

First, I've read the first two books in the series and have been looking forward to this one for a while. I was disappointed to start reading it and saw that it was enemies to lovers. Not my favorite. But this was more than that thank goodness. But let me get the complaints out of the way first. There were abrupt scene changes. Several times I was wait, what? Oh, okay. And the messages back and forth, sometimes it was hard to tell who was saying what. They weren't labeled in any way. It would have been nice to have more distinction.

This book was a page turner. I hope no one gives it away. I pieced together some, but not all, and it still had a wow factor. I laughed so many times, it just took a little while to get to the fun stuff. I ended up enjoying it more than I expected when I initially started it. Not a let down in the least.

“And, with an intimacy i've never known, she takes me. And hold me. And ruins me forever.”

Tropes: hate to love, office romance, boss x employee, age gap, billionaire romance.
Leaving behind 7 years of grief, Kate Landon is ready to start living her life again, but a dating profile is not in her plans so she is taking her friend's suggestion as a joke, creating the most ridiculous profile and getting a match from someone who is obviously taking this as a joke too. But conversations with this man are starting to feel ever deeper and closer... and slightly similar to Elliot Miles, Kate's asshole billionaire boss whom she loves to infuriate so much.

This was my first TL Swan book, and even when it's the third installment in a series, it can be perfectly read like a standalone. I wasn't sure what to expect here, but even though I have my complaints, this story hooked me from the start. The sarcastic relationship between Kate and Elliot started from her first day of work, and from that moment on they cannot stand each other, always bringing out the worst in each other, but two incidents involving Kate bring Elliot closer to her, and perhaps there's something beyond dislike between them.

There's a lot of drama, miscommunication, and angsthere, but that makes this "casual romance" that much more interesting. There are some confusing dialogues and scene changes, and I don't agree with some of Elliot's decisions near the end of the story (to be honest, I wouldn't have taken him back), but I liked how the separation time and groveling was handled.

Not sure about this book….
This is the first book I’ve read by this author; I received an ARC of this book from the publisher. The writing is very well done, and editing looks good. But I was disappointed with the overall story- it was too predictable and too long. There were inspired sections of the book, but between 50 and 60 percent ‘I could already tell how the story was going to turn, and I began to not care how the characters were going to resolve their relationship. Funny and interesting in parts, and then dull and at cross-purposes in others, I couldn’t wait to finish it. I will read the first two books in this series, and hope that the characters are truer to their beginnings. 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4.

Happy publication book to the Casanova!
I love this series soooo much! I was happy to receive this ARC in exchange for my honest review. I truly hope that T. L. Swan will write more books! This is steamy, heartbreaking and funny book, exactly how romance should be!

Review: This is book 3 in the Miles High Club series. I love this series so much. TL Swan just has a way of writing the most delicious men. Tristan (book 2) is still my ultimate book boyfriend so I was worried how Elliott would measure up, but boy did he surpass my expectations. I re-read The Stopover (3rd time) and The Takeover (2nd time) before reading The Casanova because I wanted to remember and relive everything from these brothers.😍 I can't get enough of them!
.
Kate is a strong, fiesty IT Manager at Miles Media. She endured a tragedy years ago causing her to shut down and lock her heart up tight.
.
Elliott is the CEO of the London and German devisions of Miles Media. He has expensive taste and has no apologies for it.
.
Kate and Elliott have worked together for years, but have always hated one another. Till one day, something switches. Both deny it and fight it, until fate intervenes. Oh my gosh these two! Total opposites, but I loved them so much. I struggled to put the book down because I couldn't get enough. Their chemistry was undeniable. Elliott is the dirty talking KING and I loved it! Wowza! The banter between him and Kate was perfect. I laughed so hard I cried, cried sad tears, swooned and even got upset and wanted to smack Elliott upside the head. It will take you on a roller coaster of emotions in the best way! The twists I didn't see coming were perfect. This book was amazing and I highly recommend it along with this entire series. I loved getting to see all the Miles brothers and get updates on Jameson, Emily, Tristan, Claire and of course all the kids. I CANNOT wait for Christopher's book next. These books are why I love TL Swan's work so much. She will forever be one of my unicorn authors!

I really really enjoyed reading this story so obviously I definitely recommend it.

Kate and Elliot are each great characters in their own right but together are even better. There's amazing chemistry between them so when reading it just makes it so enjoyable and easy.

This is a sexy, funny and sweet story, but with enough drama to make you just want to keep reading. Great for the reader not so much for the sleeper :)

We are once again brought into the Miles High Club and are certainly in for a treat with Elliot Miles head of the UK division of Miles Media. A man that likes to keep his private life just that private but unfortunately his name and handsome face has given him more than his share of publicity so he brushes it off. People rarely see the real Miles and that is quite a shame as he is more than a pretty face. He throws himself into his work and rarely gets irritated with his employees except for her, Kate is the bane of his existence. She is constantly challenging him and they never see eye to eye. She is the most infuriating woman that he has ever met.
Oh how I fell in love with Kathryn Landon head of IT for Miles Media and the thorn in her arrogant boss's side. She cannot stand the smug, arrogant man and just hearing his voice is like nails on a chalk board for her. Now let's get into her personal life her lack there of. She has decided the dating pool is a bit cloudy and oh so limited so she creates a fake dating profile. When she begins chatting with Edgar she realizes that even though he is half way around the world the late night chats and funny banter is keeping her occupied.
The work world is about to shift when Elliot who is working late one night finds a strange sight on the security cameras that more than catches his attention. There is a fine line between love and hate . Kate and Elliot are about to walk that line and a whole heck of a lot more! Oh my heavens this couple had the most wonderfully witty, sarcastic banter and you know that the whole underlying tension is going to come to a head !! Get ready for a funny, emotional, steamy battle with Kate and Elliot !

Gah! 4.5 stars! This was so good. I have really enjoyed this series, so much so that I completely remember these characters even though I read the first two books a year (300 books) ago.

I love a good enemies to lovers that is not a secret. But there are secrets a plenty in this book. One the secrets, however, is not how steamy Elliot and Kate get in the bedroom. Wowza. After 7 years of hating each other they make up for it in a big way.

Despite the fact that it is a pretty long book, this was such a fast read for me. You are just dying to see what happens next with these two and there are so many unexpected twist and turns.

There’s a bit of an epistolary slant to the story, too which I loved. If you recently liked To Sir, With Love… I liked this one more!

I loved how Elliott brought Kate out of her shell and I swooned over lovestruck Elliott. But by the same token, there were times that I wanted to shake them both. And that kind of emotional investment in the characters makes for a great book. I really loved these two!!

Sometimes I forget until I read a @tlswanauthor book how much I enjoy her stories, I need to put her on my one-click list!

I received an advance reader copy from NetGalley and Amazon publishing and these are my honest opinions.

Ugh! As always, TL Swan leaves you with all the feels! A fantastic enemies to lovers that will take you on one heck of a rollercoaster ride. Elliot and Kate’s snarky banter is fantastic and the chemistry between the two of them is off the chain. Plenty of OW/OM drama and a surprise plot twist will keep you hooked to the end!

What a fun, sexy read in the Miles High Club Series. I have always been a huge fan of TL Swan and this series in particular and Elliot Miles was no exception. Kate and Elliot have extreme sexual tension off the charts and bring the heat when they do begin their relationship. The angst kept me on the edge of my seat flipping page after page. A great enemies to lovers that packs a huge punch!

I jumped into this book without having read the first two and I can say that I am so glad I did. Even without reading the first two, I was able to follow the story of Elliot Miles and Kathryn Landon perfectly. And what a story theirs was. I couldn’t help but fall a little in love with Casanova Miles myself. Reading the struggle they both had in admitting their attraction and eventually love was priceless. I felt a glimpse of what finding true love could be for two who come from different worlds, yet I felt deep down had a lot in common. With some humor, romance, and a surprise ending, this book is absolutely one of the best I have read this year. I will be reading the first two in the series soon.

I absolutely loved this beautiful, breathtaking and sizzling story that consumed me from word one as I devoured this book! Elliot and Kate are so much fun to read about as their relationship grows from antagonistic to flirty, to sizzling, to love, and so much more. They begin their working relationship on the wrong foot, but something happens and they begin to see each other in a whole new light. They loved to play power games that would turn into their foreplay, leading to sizzling hot passion, but they would also have fun and laugh together, which I loved. They took time to discover they were completely different than their first impressions. Elliot on the surface was powerful, dominant, and surly, but underneath he was a true romantic with a soft heart that he didn't show many. Kate was heartbroken after the sudden loss of her parents and hid behind her work. Elliot brought out her adventurous, yet loving side and helped her want to live and experience all that life had to offer. They made each other better people. But they were both holding back, and when their secrets were revealed, it broke both their hearts. Now they need to figure out if they are worth fighting for. I loved Elliot and Kate together, and I was completely invested, caring deeply for them as I cheered for their HEA. I love a great grand gesture and this had one that had me totally swooning! This moving and heartfelt story was a roller coaster ride with witty banter, push/pull emotions, and hot steamy passion, which is everything I crave to read, and loved every moment!

Cassanova by TL Swan

This is the third book in Miles High series, a enemies to lovers, office romance trope

Cassanova Elliott is dreaming to meet an elusive artist whose paintings he is obsessed with. He doesn't have time for the infuriating employee Kate who makes him frustrated everytime they meet. They also chat up with anonymous names on a dating site showing their true nature to each other

The story is how fate brings two people who are destined for each other brought together despite how much they fight along the way. I liked how sweet Elliott was in the last part of the book trying to get Kate.

If you have read this series before you would know that Miles brothers are are all rich handsome, and stubborn as hell men who wins the love of their life after a fight!! Rating the order of awesomeness, I liked Tristan (second book) the best

Recommend to all Romance readers who like office Romance trope. The first two books are amazing so even though this can be standalone do not skip the books

Funny and entertaining, The Casanova is an enemies to lovers romance full of banter, fun, drama, angst, twists, steam and all the feels. The hero and heroine have hated each other for 7 years so get ready for some explosive passion.

This was such a great office enemies to lovers standalone romance story. The beginning of it started off a little slow but I can honestly say that this story has to be the funniest story I have read so far this year. I laughed out loud more than a few times and laughed so hard that my eyes watered. The 911 scene, the duck scene, the goat and the ending had me laughing and smiling so much my face hurt. Kathryn (Kate) and Elliot's story was full of sexual tension, steamy, sweet, and funny scenes with great friends and even crazier family members. This is a story that I could definitely read more than once and one I will be recommending to all my friends. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more books from this author.
