This was 100% a cover request and all I really knew about the book before starting it was that it was a fantasy read and I have been really into fantasy right now, so of course I jumped at the read. This meant that the topic of the story itself, did come as a bit of a shock for me and one that I felt uncomfortable reading at first, as it felt too realistic with the slight fantasy cover.

The characters felt real, especially with the events that take place within this book, which made me instantly take their side and root for them to succeed in their plan. I really enjoyed the writing style of this book and unlike with some fantasy reads, I got into it within the first chapter and proceeded to continue reading, getting disappointed when the sample came to an end.

I did become really intrigued and got really into this book from reading the sample provided, that I have now gone and bought the full book in order to continue reading it and to see how it concludes.

This little sample has convinced me to buy this book! I am so intrigued by this book and the western style setting! I can’t wait to find out more and see what happens.

I've never really read any books from the Sci Fi/Fantasy genre. I realized know that I've been missing something. Although this was a sampler I was fully engrossed from the start. This is certainly a book I would fully read and I'll be buying a copy for my daughter.
Set in effectively, a whore house, the girls are drugged and the innocence sold. Clementine's first brag leads to an incident which means she and her sister and 3 others must go on the run. However they have been branded with an enchanted mark. Will they get away and have the life they crave.

This was so good! I was immediately hooked despite being in a bit of a fantasy slump :(

I’ve already bought the rest of the book and I am so so excited to get stuck in! It was fast paced, I loved the idea of favors and cannot wait to see what happens to the girls through the rest of the book.
