I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.
Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.
However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x
Interesting concept. Always picking the wrong guy to date, Co-worker Steve bets Kennedy she can’t date for a month. Fun reading. Hilarious cast of co workers. Read in one sitting and laughed.
Steve and Kennedy work together and come up with a bet that deals with a poem. the thing is that they both like each other but have kept it to themselves will they be able to share it with the other one? A good story about opening up to the one you love.
I love matchmaking so much and this was more thrn sweet. Friends to lovers is one of my fave themes. Sisan has something that always makes me dream and it is always a great day reading one of her books.
This book was an easy, fun read. The story centers around Kennedy and Steve, two very likable characters. At times I found it to be repetitive but the story kept pulling me in.
Loved reading this book and author if you haven't read it yet I highly recommend her and her books. Happy reading
Susan Hatler always delivers clean and fun romances. Kennedy and Steve will bet each other on almost anything! When will long-time friends Kennedy and Steve finally figure out they have feelings for each other, other than just friendship?
This is a fun quick read with a sweet elderly woman playing matchmaker so these two will realize they care more about each other than they're willing to admit. I received a complimentary copy to review from Hatco Publishing via NetGalley. All thoughts expressed in this review are my own.
A fun and uplifting story that will make you swoon and smile as two best friends fall in love.

I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and the publisher ~ Thank you ~ !! This is my honest and personal review.
What a fun read! This is a short story, but I thought it had great development. Kennedy and Steve are good friends who are always betting each other. But then a mysterious woman with her own agenda enters their world. Kennedy needs a date for a wedding and things just get a little crazy. She's always on fast speed and should learn to just breathe and let things go a little slower...Yeah that isn't going to happen.
Can I mention the cutest little characters-the two dogs? I love when pets can become such real characters that you feel like they have their own little stories. I have not read this author before, but if this work is indicative of her writing style, I think I am going to love her earlier works!
I love the books that this author releases - they are always fun and wholesome reads.
the writing style in this one was lovely, it had a great flow to it and I started and finished the book in an afternoon.
It was romantic and sexy - I thoroughly enjoyed it!
It is 4 stars from me for this one - highly recommended!
Kennedy needs a date to her friends wedding which should not be a problem. But then her co-worker tells her that she dates the wrong guys and bets that she can't go a month without dating. This is a fun and uplifting story. I really enjoyed it.
Another fun, charming, and captivating story by one of my favorite authors! I never miss an opportunity to review one of Ms. Hatler 's books. Everytime I read one, it leaves me with a big smile on my face and all the feels. This one was no different! It's a cute friends to lovers story with adorable little dogs to make it even more enchanting. Kennedy and Steve have been friends for a long time, and they love to make bets. The latest friendly bet leads them to explore feelings that they have been dancing around all these years. The chemistry between these two was amazing and I loved the witty and hilarious banter between them. Such a great book, I totally recommend!
I received a complimentary advanced reader's copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.
Thank you NetGalley, Susan Hatler and Hatco Publishing for the opportunity to review this book.
It had been a while since I'd read any romance novels and I was hooked by Kennedy from page one. She has great energy and amazing chemistry with her co-worker Steve. I flew through the book and thoroughly enjoyed them getting closer together while spending time with Lori and her dogs.
I had no idea this was part of a series (and a later title at that) and will happily go back and read the other books in the future.
A funny, romantic slow build book... It had me wanting to see how long they would take to figure things out ...
Kennedy and Steve are meant to be together, but they just do not know how to exactly do that. This is a great romance book and will make everything around you disappear as you are reading it. The chemistry between the two of them is so perfectly written that I could feel it as I was reading.
Thank you NetGalley and Susan Hatler for the copy of The Wedding Bet. This is my personal review.
Who doesn’t enjoy a nice love story? We all know someone like the characters in here who rush into things. Enjoyable read and well done!
3.5-stars for The Wedding Bet
This is a cute, fun frenemy to more read. I wouldn't really say frenemy to lovers read because while there was so much witty banter, there was just something missing. I felt Kennedy and Steve's attraction was somewhat hard to believe due to the lack of heat and while there was a little chemistry, it didn't seem like enough. While I don't think excess steamy scenes is necessary, the storyline wasn't as believable as it should have been especially with all of Kennedy and Steve's witty banter. Actually their witty banter and bets were my favorite part of the book and I did like reading the book just want more from their interactions but would recommend reading The Wedding Bet to decide for yourself.
Even though I did receive an advanced review copy of this book, I am voluntarily leaving my own unsolicited opinion with my voluntary review.
I read this author before so I knew her style of writting and I loved it again!
The story was great, funny, cheesy and romantic. Main characters have chemistry and great connection.
We have Kennedy and Steve here, two friends, who enjoy in silly bets all along. New bet- one month without dating?
Will it succeed?
