Great resource for new and more experienced witches alike! Definitely a go-to for well-rounded information on many witchy-related subjects. Thank you for introducing me to this author via NetGaley!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me this eARC to review. Sadly the content within this book is not good for my mental health which I did not realise at the time so I am very sorry for that! I will give this 3 Stars as I couldn't review it properly. Apologies again!
What a great book! It’s able to stay simple and approachable which covering many topics in a great way. It’s more of a beginner book but still very interesting and enjoyable!
One this cover is beautiful. This touched on so many different important things. Learning to forage for different ingredients you can use for spells. Then learning spells and how to connect with the earth and magic all around.
Natural Magick by Lindsay Squire is the perfect book to add to my collection. The cover is stunning and I love the art style, it makes me want to read and display it. But it is also a valuable book. I appreciate the focus that is placed on nature and that it is associated with the craft. Important natural forces are explained, like the seasons, moon cycles and wheel of the year. From foraging and using herbs in spells, to using sun or moonlight in cleansing rituals to understanding the changing of the seasons and their impact on your powers, this book is an invaluable guide to anyone interested in exploring natural magick.
This is a really informative read and perfect for those, like myself, who are interested in learning more about witchcraft and new to getting involved in the craft. It includes information on the Wheel of the Year, working with the moon, divination and much more. The illustrations in this are also gorgeous and I loved that I focused on creating a practice that is both eco friendly and socially conscious. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants and an easy introductory read.
I gave this 3 stars.
Natural Magick is an absolutely stunning book. If you love the posts on Lindsay Squire's instagram you will adore the illustrations in this book. This information inside is a fantastic resource for those new to the craft or those who want to learn what practicing magick is all about. The book goes into topics of witchcraft designations, intro to spell work and divination, working with moon phases and the wheel of the year. I especially enjoyed the focus on eco and social conscious magical practice, as this is not covered in most traditional witch books.
This book is very easy to follow and would make an excellent gift for beginners.
I loved this book! It was beautifully set out, very informative. It's a great start for beginners, and really lays out enough detail for those new to practicing to get started on their own craft.
Okay, so I've been interested in this ever since I was a child, even before I really knew what it was. I found this book to be helpful, as it's harder to find the "real" stuff online. (Do a Google search and you'll find spells on how to turn people into frogs, and make things appear.. lol.)
Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read and review this!
My copy on the netgalley app expired which is why I wasn’t able to complete this, but I will be looking for my own in stores because this was a fairly comprehensive introduction to things without making them overwhelming. It’s a great way to understand the things that are available to you.
3.5 stars - great introductory book for the new witch, with concepts explained in easy-to-understand graphics and short sections of personable writing. I've you've been a practicing witch for a little while, you won't find much new information here, but Squire has such a wonderful, welcoming and open attitude that it does make for enjoyable reading and a refresher. The title did confuse me a little bit - based on "Natural" I expected more of a "green witch" or herbal/plant/element-based book, and while there' was a little bit of that, this was definitely a general overview.
I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best books that i´ve read, regarding the introduction to witchcraft. It has all the information that someone needs to begin their craft and the illustrations really help you picture things out. My favorite things were the eco friendly witchcraft options and the advice given to those still in the broom closet. Overall, I´m extremely pleased with this read and will definitely purchase it myself. Thank you to the publishing team, the author and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book!
A nicely laid out informative book on Witchcraft. Nice spreads of pages with lovely graphics. I really enjoyed the seasonal pages, what to do to traditionally celebrate pagan holidays.
This was one of those books that's perfect for anyone new to natural magick, or those who've been practising for a while! It is beautifully set out, clearly written, easy to follow and full of great illustrations that help you learn so much more about practicing magick in a more natural way.
There's great descriptions of learning more about the subjects, tools to use, all the different elements, rituals, spells, tarot.... and so much more!
I adored the moon section and have learnt so much and will be putting some of the spells to good use!
For anyone wanting to know more about witchcraft, or just to have everything in a beautifully put together book, then look no further!
Natural Magick is as aesthetically beautiful as it is informative.
This book provides a broad overview of magick in a style that is very reader-friendly. I love the captivating illustrations that accompany the narrative.
Overall, this is a great book to learn more about the topic of magick.

This is such a great book -- especially for beginner practitioners, or those who are looking to dabble but are unsure where to start. It's also a great resource for long-time practitioners, too.
