This is a fantastic, interesting children's book, which shows eleven children who all live in different areas of the world, and we see what they are doing at this specific time (one moment in time), relating to their timezone. For example, at 7am in Mexico, Javier is eating breakfast, but at the same time, it is 8am in New York City, and Kayla is getting ready for school. It is also night time in other areas of the world, where some children are going to bed.
The book is full of gorgeous, colourful illustrations which show each child and what they are doing. It is a superb book, which my daughter and I had so much fun reading. We loved it and we highly recommend it!
Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.
A simple idea that explains that turn of the Earth and time zones to young children. simply explained with illustrations of children at different points around the world, this book also offers opportunities for discussion asking questions about how the reader's life is similar or different to that of the child depicted in each time zone.
I really like this book, its a really lovely way of explaining about time in different parts of the world. And how different children live and their schools and homes are compared to children in the UK or wherever they are reading. Its really, really lovely and children and parents will love this in libraries across the world.
Many thanks to netgalley, publishers and the author for this really lovely and free ARC in return for this review.
