BLOG TOUR REVIEW
Bob the Bear's Adventures by Alice Chambers was a lovely book, all about Bob the Bear who tries to hide in Alice's garden but some of his places are good and some are hard for you to find him. But, Bob loves to climb high much more than hiding.
This maybe a small book but it was a joy to read with my nephew Oz, especially as I crocheted a bear with his several friends, so they can go on their own adventures. This book was a real treat, we had many adventures with Bob the farmer bear as Oz calls him now.
There was Lots of Laughter and smiles as I read this book out aloud with all the crochet Toys and other toys sitting with us listening to Bob's Adventures, and who didn't love playing hide n seek when they were small??!!!
This book was a real gem and a joy to read. Its full of beautiful full pages photographs of Bob the bear in all his hiding places which made this books so sweet. Plus this got us all out side into the garden and to have our adventures with Bob and his friends.
This was a book that would be great for a parent, grandparent, auntie, uncle etc reading during the day or at bedtime or having quality time with a child etc. Plus, I found this book would be great at pre-school etc so you can all share your adventures with their favourite bear or toy.
I am looking forward reading more books about Bob the bears adventures
Plus, hearing all the adventures our Bob the farmer has had.
Moments with a small child is precious and so was this book! Thank you Alice.
Big thank you to the author Alice Chambers and Literally PR for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW
Review for 'Bob The Bear's Adventures' by Alice Chambers.
Read and reviewed for Alice Chambers, Ink Publishing Services and Literally PR
Publication dates: 29th November 2021.
This is the first book I have read by this author.
I was originally drawn to this book by its gorgeous cover and the fact that I am a mum of three who love books especially picture ones.
This book is such a charming book for children and adult's alike. Amazon has placed the reading age from 3 years to 5 years old but I am 36 years old and I have 5 year old twin boys and a 10 year old son and we all loved reading/listening to Bob the bear's adventures and looking at the beautiful and colourful photos. My children loved trying to find Bob the bear and laughing when he hid in silly places where they could spot him easily and my 10 year son enjoyed helping his brothers trying to find him. Bob the bear is absolutely adorable and we all loved his gorgeous blue waistcoat and his little glasses!! He looked like a little old bear enjoying his adventures! We also had lots of fun naming all thr different things that the children could see in the photos and naming all the colours. It is a fantastic book and I would say it is suitable for any child from new-born up. unfortunately the weather has been awful here in Wales lately but during the summer I am going to take a bear into the garden and we will play along with bob the bear and I will hide the bear in the same or similar hiding places as Bob so this makes a great interactive book in the summer!! I think it is beautiful that the author Alice dedicated this book to her husband Bob who also wore glasses and loved wearing his waistcoats. What an absolutely beautiful dedication!! This book is lovely and short and can be a quick read or be made into a fun long read whichever the reader wishes. It would be a great book for children to be read to by their teachers in school who could also use the book as an adventure and make the story interactiove using their own teddy bears! Bob's hiding places were fun, silly and hilarious and I had a few giggles along wityh the children! I am looking forward to reading more books by Alison to my children and hope that she is busy writing and illustrating the next one already!
My 10 year old son Malaki had this to say about this book:

I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
What a charming delightful story that consists of a crochet bear photographed in all sort of settings. Younger kids will enjoy pointing the bear out in each picture, and perhaps be inspired to do photo-shoots with their own favourite stuffed animal.
I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.
Bob the Bears Adventures is a cute, picture book with real photographs for children about a bear called Bob. This would make a cute story to share in a nursery/preschool classroom. I liked playing the hide and seek aspect in this book and think most children will enjoy it. This book is quite amateurish in its approach but this adds to its appeal for children.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Ink for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is a children's book. This book is not for me-I felt like this was something that I could have done for my kids myself. It is interactive in some ways-asking questions of the readers. But still not my cup of tea. I didn't get the point as for me there was no story, 3 stars
This looks and feels so much like a book a grandparent would have custom-made for their grandchild, and in a way that's really nice because kids who might not have that, for whatever reason, get to experience it.
The photography and text have a very homespun, amateurish feel that I think actually works in this book's favor. It's because it doesn't feel quite so "slick" or professional that it may succeed quite well in grabbing kids' attention and engaging them in the story. It feels fresh and new; a change of pace from the typical classroom books.
It's also highly interactive, which is another good lure for young readers. I would definitely try this in my classroom, both as a small-group/one-on-one read and as part of the classroom library.
Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!
