Thank you Embla Books, NetGalley and Dandy for this spine-tingling story!
"How Far Will You Go"?......
Elodie Fray is asked this question so much in One Small Mistake.
How far will she go to become the author she has always dreamed of being?
To finally get the approval of her family.
To have the perfect life her sister Ada has.
She works at a coffee shop and her book she has worked hard on writing doesn't get the approval she was desperately wanting.
After getting turned down by the publisher she meets her friend for a few drinks only to discover she has a book deal with the same publisher that knocked Elodie's book!
She is shocked and before she knows what she is doing she makes One Small Mistake!!
Which sends her spiraling down a dangerous, emotional ride that she can't seem to get off of!
This book shows just how far two sisters are willing to go for one another in the end!
And in the end family is all that matters!
WoW! What a story this book was!
Immediately upon chapter one I was hooked and didn't stop.
It was one wild thing after another. I soaked up every bit of it.
I like how this story went from Elodie to Ada it was very interesting being inside Ada's head.
And getting to see the "real" her.
The characters they are all wonderful and so satisfying.
My heart has not pounded this hard for minute while reading a book. And this one did it!
Dandy's writing is brilliant and I will read anything this lady writes.
I really will. She has a life long reader in me!
Simply put.... Read this!
It's fun, exciting, unexpected.... Did I mention FUN?!
Thanks again for the chance to read this amazing eARC! I loved it!
Bravo…!
A fabulous thrill ride of a read and an outstanding debut. From being drawn into these characters, along with the promising premise, from the very first page this tale does not let go until the very last. Perfectly drawn, completely credible characters populate a compelling and often wildly outlandish and wildly entertaining plot which, in turn, is peppered with the authors’ perfectly penned and often beautifully descriptive prose. A one sitting read which I enjoyed immensely and with characters that you will love or that you will love to hate. Bravo!

It's like a Netflix movie with lots of suspense and full of entertainment.
Elodie Fray wants to be more like her perfect sister, Ada, the one her parents are actually proud of. When she decided to quit her job and pursue her dream of becoming an author, she thought it would be her time to shine, but a year on nothing has happened. And she's getting desperate. When Elodie makes one small mistake on a drunken night with a friend, things quickly spiral and suddenly everyone believes she has a book deal. Unable to find a way back from her little lie, her perfect dream becomes a perfect nightmare - and desperate times call for desperate measures. Meanwhile, everything is not as it seems in Ada Archer's perfect life. When her sister suddenly disappears, she questions everything - from her marriage, to the man who's been charged with Elodie's abduction. The papers say it's him, but the more she digs into her sister's life the less convinced she is. Ada will do anything to discover the truth, even if it kills her.
I really liked this book. I never guessed that ending but wow, the author proved me wrong.
Thanks to NetGalley and Embla Books for giving me an advance copy.
This is absolutely a great book that it only took me a couple of hours to read. It’s a fast paced thriller that will keep you guessing to the last page.
