Thanks to the publishers for sharing this one. I had so much fun with it! I've been bothering my family with the questions for weeks. It gives you a bit of an insight into how other people's minds work. My full review appears on Weekend Notes.

Would You Rather...? The Hilarious Game for All Ages - Over 3000 Questions by Julian Flanders would be a great book to have on hand for a fun night with friends, a road trip, or to simply get to know someone better. I plan to purchase for my daughter for Christmas. #NetGalley

This book provides fun for days. It's such a fun concept. Would you rather questions just primed for a slumber party with your friends. Even perfect for conversation starters!

Enjoyed playing this for a half hour or so and there is an excellent variety of suggestions but beyond that one play I don’t think I would go back to it.

This is such a fun book. I used this on a night in with friends and we had so much fun asking each other a wide range of questions that give you such a fun game and give you insights into the way people think and work. It was great fun definitely recommend!

3.5/5 stars

It’s a good book to have on hand if you work with tweens or teens, have to come up with ice-breakers or team-building questions or even if you just want to have easy discussions on hand for road trips, or more.

There are hundreds of WYR questions divided by category, including health and body, deep, movies and tv, warm-up, and more.

Fun, conversation-starting book that i enjoyed talking through with my partner. The cover is fun and the questions are appropriate - not the way in which my brain comes at this game but a lot more thought-provoking.

THIS WAS EPIC. this is the best boredom cure ever. My husband and I stayed up late into the night discussing and sometimes loudly discussing who had the right answers. We loved it.

It was a different type of book for me but it was great fun! Thoroughly enjoyed and will be used again. Well done!

I tried some of these questions on my husband and my daughter with varied results. I think that the questions wre very nuch geared to a younger element but I personally found the effect on my husband very coical as he was so factual and could not enter into the spririt. My daughter however was fascinated and in her mid life found the questions very thought provoking and we had interesting discussions following.
I intend to try some out at our Christmas retreat to see the full impact across a wider age range.
The concept of the book and the questions is very good as it encouraged people to think a little about themselves.

This book has been the source of so many fun family nights. We have skipped around from section to section having deep conversations and many laughs. It's great as an ice breaker or a way to pass some time. Overall we will be working our way through these during many game nights.

I've never formally played this game, but it's part of the cultural consciousness. I really enjoyed reading through these on a very long roadtrip with my wife - though it is geared more toward a YA audience. I'm impressed the authors came up with as many of these as they did!

This book is really basic. It explains the game of would you rather and consists of a variety of questions you can use in the game organized by theme. It's one of those books that may not be necessary to purchase if you have access to the internet.

Thanks to the publisher for providing an eARC of Would You Rather...? in exchange for an honest review.

While I think it's cool this book compiles so many Would You Rather questions modernly, I think a lot of the categories don't really make sense. Especially the "funny" sections vary from "haha this is funny an nonsensical" to "would you want this super power or this super power". I don't think categories were needed (or maybe turning those ones into an "other" category?) but other than that this delivers on what it promises.

"Would you Rather" is a classic game of choices - sometimes, thought provoking, sometimes hilarious, but always a good conversation starter. This is a book that collates hundreds of questions to find out what you really would rather.

While the book does stat that it's for all ages, not all questions are for all age groups. And some of the references, while topical now, may date badly. I think this would be a great book to have as a paperback to keep families (or friends) entertained on road trips, as the format doesn't lend itself well to ebook; It's the sort of book to be picked up and flicked through at random.

A fun game to play with the kids,

~many thanks to Netgalley for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review~

Nice to have hundreds of "Would You Rather..." questions compiled into one book, but many of them will quickly become dated (celebrity questions, for example) or don't apply to children and teens. The categories didn't make much sense either. Overall, it's handy but not awesome.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC.

While some questions are hillarious and thought provoking, some propose quite impossible choices. Unfortunately, there are a lot of repeating or very similar questions, and after about two chapters, I got really bored and skimmed a little and then gave up.

This book has prompted many very interesting conversations around our dinner table the last few days ! The questions themselves are interesting but can lead to some very lively discussions. On my shopping list for a few older friends.

Would You Rather be humiliated or get to humiliate other people? Make fun of disabled people or consider them fodder for pity? The questions posed by this book for what is supposed to be "hilarious" conversation starters or games are unfortunately mostly just awful and thoughtless. Play something else instead.
