I would just like to say a big thank you to NetGalley for very kindly forwarding me an arc copy of this book, for my Kindle, in return for my honest review.

Christmas At Lobster Bay was a great, Christmassy read and was full of festive vibes and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is actually the second book in the series and follows on from where book one left off. It can also be read as a stand alone with no problems at all.
Lobster Bay was a beautiful, wonderful place and I loved reading all about it and it made me want to visit there.
I loved all the characters and getting to know them all. We not only get the main characters stories but but the supporting characters too.
This was a perfect, heartwarming, Christmassy read…...

A wonderful magical Christmas book. Reminds me of holiday movies but in print. Such a cute story for this time of year. A lovely light-hearted read. Warms my heart.
, something I definitely hadn't intended to do as there were several other things I really should have been doing. This was a magical book! I loved every minute of it and wanted to crawl inside and stay there. It was so warm and cosy like a fuzzy scarf and mittens.

I thought Christmas at Lobster Bay by Annie Robertson was a nice, easy to read book. The story follows on from Annie’s first book but this can quite easily be read as a stand-alone book. A mixture of friendships and dramas throughout but equally a lovely Christmassy read. I’m already looking forward to the next one in the series.

I adored the first Guesthouse at Lobster Bay book and eagerly awaited this Christmas installment! It didn't disappoint and I became quickly absorbed back into the world of Emma, Aiden and the rest of the inhabitants of Lobster Bay.

There was drama in all the right places, tensions running high, relationships tested and a happy ending - all in all a great festive read to whisk you away!

**Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read an advanced e-copy of this book. All opinions are my own **

Christmas at Lobster Bay by Annie robertson

I received an advance review copy for free thanks to NetGalley and Welbeck Publishing and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

When Emma and Aidan decide to expand The Guesthouse at Lobster Bay by merging their two homes, Emma feels certain it's the project she needs to develop her flourishing retreat, and to keep her and Aidan together.

Emma has three months to complete the project before her guests arrive for a sumptuous Christmas in Lobster Bay, but as soon as the work begins, Emma's dream of expansion begins to fall apart...

Unforeseen structural problems, the arrival of a long-term guest, and an errant puppy, who is determined to chew her way through every piece of pipe and furniture, push Emma and Aidan to their limit, and it's not long before cracks begin to show in their relationship.

I have been waiting for this book since I read The Guesthouse at Lobster Bay as I knew that it was going to be a lovely series. This definitely lived up to my expectations - so much so that I read over 50% in one sitting as I couldn't pull myself away. Whilst part of a series, I feel that it would be very easy to read this book as a standalone.

There are moments of drama, and it there are moments where your emotions will be played with. Overall, this is an action packed book that is an addictive read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope that it is not the last that we have seen of Lobster Bay.

Rating: 4/5

I haven't read the first book in this series but that didn't matter as this proved to be the perfect heartwarming easy read over the festive period. Emma is feeling restless - having moved to Lobster Bay and established a successful guesthouse, she is now looking for her next challenge. The opportunity to expand into the neighbouring house, owned by her boyfriend, offers just that - but will the plan to get it done in time to welcome guests for Christmas prove to be just too much of a stretch with everything else going on around her.

With an endearing cast of characters and with lots going on, it's the ideal read for a few hours of escapism on a wintery day and I very much enjoyed it.

Let Annie whisk you away to Lobster Bay for Christmas as you become absorbed in the life’s of Emma, Aidan and their friends. As Emma extends her Guesthouse in preparation for Christmas Guests. Full of twists, turns and romance that keep you guessing until the end ! A first book for me by Annie Robertson and it will not be the last!

Didn’t realise that this was the second book from Lobster Bay but it in no way spoilt this wonderful Christmas read for me. I loved all the characters especially the relationship between Emma and Peggy. My only complaint was that if a dog had eaten even a small amount of Christmas cake they would need to seek vet advice ASAP. However this was overlooked other than the mention of the alcohol content and her being sick. Other than that I really enjoyed this Christmas read

First of all I would like to say thank you to the publisher, the author and net galley for allowing me access to an advance reader copy of this book.

I think overall this book was well written had very good details and didn’t waffle which is very common in romance Christmas books. I like the character development the pacing was really well and overall I think although there are so many books like this this writing style drew me in.

This is book #2 in the Lobster Bay series, and this book follows straight on from the previous one. I have to admit that I haven’t read the first book, and I did find some of the storyline a little tricky to understand as it referred to things which had happened in that book. It was however, a delightful little read based in a beautiful Scottish seaside village. Emma runs the Lobster Bay guesthouse and, in need of a new challenge, she decides to expand into the neighbouring house (and the one she lives in!) to make the guesthouse even bigger. I really liked Emma’s character and took to her right from the very beginning. She has a beautiful guest house and is definitely somewhere I would love to visit. She also has a great group of friends who I really liked, especially Peggy who did make me laugh!

Once I got used to who was who, who was with who and who’d been with who, the story flowed along at a lovely pace. The storyline of whether Emma would get the guest house ready for visitors by Christmas was lovely and left me wondering throughout if she could really pull off such a huge renovation project! There are lots of little side stories, not just for Emma, but for some of the other characters and these all slotted into each other perfectly! I have to admit to not liking Emma’s boyfriend, Aiden throughout most of the book, but did warm to him by the end.

This was such a sweet romantic read and is so festive it will get you well and truly in the mood for Christmas. Filled with likeable characters, beautiful scenery and lots of life’s dramas, this is a lovely book for a cold wintery afternoon! I’ll definitely be reading the first book in the series, so I can fill in the background of everyone in Lobster Bay!

Thanks to netgalley for the advanced ebook to review.
It was lovely to return to Lobster Bay, catch up with the great characters the first book gave us, and introducing us to a couple more! An enjoyable festive read.

After establishing Lobster Bay as a desirable bed-and-breakfast destination Emma needs a new challenge. Emma and her boyfriend Ayden decide to expand the guest house by merging their two homes. Giving herself the deadline of Christmas to be finished by so she can have more guests for the festive season. But as soon as work begins the drama starts and the project looks less and less likely to be completed for Christmas. With the help of all of her friends can Emma pull this off?

What a delight to return to Lobster Bay especially at Christmas time.

I loved the first book of the series and this one did so much more! Loved hearing about the characters and there stories too. This novel focus on the combination of the house and the guest house! Loved it all and look forward to more on the series.

I believe this is a companion novel to another book by the same author, but I did not read the other book and did not feel like I was missing any information or getting lost. However, maybe knowing the characters would have increased the enjoyment of this book and raised it to a 5 star. It was a delightful Christmas story and totally recommend it.

We are back in Lobster Bay for Christmas at Emma's guest house. It is a second book but can easily be read as a stand alone
Emma is feeling restless and doesn't know if it's time to move on to a new challenge but doesn't want to leave Lobster Bay and her boyfriend Aiden. After plenty discussion and much excitement for the challenge ahead Aiden and his sister agree to knock through from the guest house into their neighbouring house to make it bigger
David the builder suggests starting work in January but Emma wants to start straight away and have a big launch on Christmas Eve with a festive 3 day break for guests
It's going to be cutting it fine if everything goes to plan, needless to say it doesn't !
I won't say any more as it will spoil the story but there's certainly plenty going on

The story was super cute, however, I'm a fan of Holly Martin and there were too many similarities for e, including the names of the people and guests at the hotel, it was just too similar.

I'm still going to give this a positive feedback because I have to bare in mind that the stories of villages will be similar, but I think maybe in the future it would be prudent to use different names etc.

I absolutely adored this, what a wonderfully gory seasonal read. I read this in one sitting as I didn’t want to leave the happy place it created for me. Thoroughly entertaining and highly recommended read to make you smile and your heart swell
