This is more an issue with me than with the book. I've only recently delved into nonfiction and this is the first nature/travel book I've tried. They are not genres I gravitate to but I had heard very good things about this book so I thought I would give it a shot. However, I found this book kinda dull. I was the most interested when the author talks about the history of the areas but my brain just immediately switched off when it talked about nature. It didn't grab me so I've DNFed it. The narration performance was very good though.
