I love her as a character,the author does such a great job of making her feel so real and familiar.Combine this with a clever and intense plot and lots of gritty police procedures and you have a sure fire winner…..crime fiction at its best!

I read this so quickly I could not put it down, the story, the characters, the writing, the setting, everything was perfect. It was fast paced, tense and suspenseful and kept me guessing until the end. I loved it

I don’t even know how to start this review without sounding like I’m just blabbering on.
I’ll just say it the best way I can in my very ordinary way……. I absolutely loved it!!
Each time I pick up the next book in the Gina Harte series, I feel so thrilled and happy to be able to get straight back into the atmosphere of the whole dynamic of this fabulous team.
I find these books so easy to read and so easy to get drawn into because of the way Carla Kovach writes them so brilliantly.
This new story is just like any story this author writes, it’s engaging, it’s gripping, it’s tense, it’s enthralling, it’s just absolutely fantastic and I can not get enough of her work!
