What a fun and quick read!!!

Jess is a high schooler whose life starts to become…well let’s just say “off.” We’re talking awkward conversations all of a sudden, people being sick from a sickness/flu and finally an unknown object falling out of her friends bag leads her to have a lot of questions and doubts about her life. I won’t go any further with the story because I truly think going in with as little as possible is the way to go!

Loved the dialogue (90s references were super fun), believable teenage characters and the twists and turns throughout the story. Jess was a wonderful and witty character and I enjoyed her POV. The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars is due to the pacing and some reveals coming a little too soon for me.

A great 90s inspired reality thriller due to get the acclaim it deserves. Would be an amazing book for Netflix to adapt.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this book. Give it a go if you like fast paced, character driven novels.
