This story has a great premise and I can see a lot of stories in the future for Sandy. This is a first novel and hopefully the writing will get smoother. I think I can handsell it because of the story but the writing is choppy and doesn’t flow as smoothly as I would wish. I hope the author continues to write on this character and sets of characters.
Sandy is a newly promoted DCI in the consulate office in Britain. The office is tasked with looking into the deaths of British citizens in foreign countries. Investigating a death and fraud, the story is good.
