Ada has a wonderful opportunity to visit the palaces of Venice, the cathedrals of Florence and Rome's villas. In this setting she finally feels at home among people who she wants to be like. After a horrific accident, Ada's life is forever tethered to the other students on the trip. Without giving away spoilers, Ada discovers that the group were never her friends. The discovery of the truth of the nature of the relationship between two of her friends was disturbing for me as a reader. Despite the unsettling nature of the relationship, this twist was a good storyline.

A different read for me but I am so glad I did! I really enjoyed reading this and it’s made me want to read others like it. Well done.
