Doing the right thing…when?..friends…family…lies…jobs in jeopardy…lives in peril…this book has it all, but I could not immerse myself in this man’s life…others may enjoy the book more…this book was sent to me electronically for review by Netgalley.

The Dayton Dilemma is a short and sharp story, about a lad in the Air Force who was working in Dayton (a town) over his summer break. While on summer break he became a frequent visitor of the local club and made some great new friends - but one night something terrible happened - can he keep a secret?
I liked the fact this was so short - I feel like it could be a great addition to a book of short stories maybe. However, as short as it was, the actual life changing moment in the book didn’t happen until at least three quarters of the way through! Why all the babble?
Did I really need to hear about the shopping trip? The date to the beach? None of it felt relevant at all. Maybe with some extra polishing, this book could be a masterpiece.
