It wax clear that this book had been narrated like someone telling a story rather than writing a book.
It jumped from one story to another and I found it a bit hard to get into though some if hid escapades did make me smile

Having read a lot of books on hardmen this was along the same lines as others.
I found Norman Buckland at times was Superman then Robin Hood then the Incredible Hulk and finally Santa Claus.So I was getting mixed messages who this man is.
At times the storyline had my head spinning jumping from one thing to another.
But I did find the book a good read and I learnt that Norman Buckland is a very hard man with a heart of gold
