Having really enjoyed the first Solve Your Own Mystery book, me and the kids were really excited to get our hands on another mystery to solve. As before, The Time Thief is full of interesting characters and an intriguing plot, What really makes this book stand out is how interactive it is - being able to make your own choices about how to investigate the mystery means the kids who read it have rare and valuable autonomy which means they are immersed in the book throughout, The beauty of the book is that you can read it over and over again, changing your options and learning something new each time. I would highly recommend this book, it's perfect as part of a fun bedtime routine or as rainy day entertainment.

A great little choose your own adventure book. I love that it has 3 potential endings to the story. So far I have completed 1/3 but I can’t wait to go back and do the other options, and see the different outcomes. Brilliantly fabulous book.

Story feels well set-up and the characters are interesting and varied. As with all choose your own adventure books it’s great that each reading can produce a different story.
