We get to follow two 11 year old girls when they try to understand what love is about.

This was really cute and I liked the message behind it. The art is beautiful and I enjoyed following the main characters. It felt quite fast, but it's also a middle-grade book. I'm excited to see the next one.

This was such a sweet comic! I loved that it tackled difficult topics such as sexual assault, and rumors. It's a stunning graphic novel that teaches children that love can make us feel many emotions. The art style was also very beautiful!

School of Love by BeKa and Maya is a lovely graphic novel about middle school girls looking for love. The story revolves around best friends Linon and Garance. They're middle school students who want to learn more about how to get a boyfriend. They decide to ask the older students at their middle school. There is some puppy love, some romance, some education on slut-shaming, and an action-packed chase scene.

Overall, School of Love is the perfect holiday gift for the tween or teen in your life. One highlight of this book is the amazing art. The characters are drawn beautifully, and the light colors are both cartoonish and attractive. The art actually made me want to keep reading, even though I'm not in the target age demographic. Another highlight of this book is the sweet storyline. It was a nice balance of light-hearted and serious moments. If you're intrigued by the description, or if you're a fan of middle school graphic novels, I highly recommend that you check out this book, which is available now!

Well, the cover looked so cute! And for some reason, I thought the two main girls on the cover are gonna be a couple or something... I dunno. Also, I thought maybe it's gonna be what love really is in all its ways not just romantically. Everyone here was like straights and allo, annoying. Love is in family, friendship, things, books but it can be romantic too, but not only that. The art style and the views there are pretty good! And how we had dangerous kind of love mentioned... I didn't hate it, but not something I liked much either. I'd say if they drop another volume, I'm not gonna read it.

This book was such a nice surprise! The comic is in full color and the character designs are colorful and stylish and adorable. Two besties Linon and Garance decide to conduct a full on research on love by seeking out their friends, classmates and some popular girls and couples.

The first half had me worried since the kids mostly talked about physical attraction and hotness when asked about love, but the story manages to show that that is not all love is about. It was interesting to see that the story also showed us how vain people can be about dating but also how there can be a divide where some people cannot stop talking about dating and crushes and some who just don’t care for it or had a bad experience.

The cover of this book is just so cute that I had to read it, and I'm glad I did because the story was almost just as cute!

In this first volume we meet two girls who are on a quest to find out what love is. I loved both girls a lot, they are both drawn incredibly well (just like all the other characters) and their clothing style is immaculate! I wish my sense of style was that good when I was their age...

I can't wait to read the next volume when it comes out! Although I do hope that we see some LGBT+ representation in that volume, because that was the only thing that was a bit lacking in this book. Other than that, I was surprised that it dealt with heavier subjects, but still in an appropriate way for a young reader to enjoy!

I adored this so much! The art is super colorful and fun, but also full of emotion. I really liked Linon and Garance’s friendship, and how they were able to fully communicate with each other towards the end of the story. There are some heavy hitting topics that I was surprised to see in a book for kids, but I’m glad they were in there because it helps spark a conversation people should definitely be having with their kids. Overall, a fun and quick read!

A beautifully drawn middle school graphic novel about two adorable friends who are finding the meaning of love!

This graphic novel is so adorably and colorfully drawn that it will surely catch the interest of its intended audience. The story really shows the complexity of describing love for young kids. I love both girls in the story and how close and supportive they are of each other. I think parents and children (especially young girls) reading the book together is a good idea too, to open a conversation about love, bullying, prejudice, and honesty.

There is a reason why I love Middle school graphic novels and this book clearly wins my heart. Graphic novels have been my fav and this book with its adorable illustration and completely realistic character has won my heart. The fact that it's two people asking and figuring out the big deal of the word 'love' is what really made my heart swell.

Definitely one of a kind and I'm gonna recommend it!

This is adorable. Rich, beautiful art -- you know so much about these characters not just from what they do and say but what they wear, what they keep in their rooms, and so on.

It's a sweet little middle grade story about two middle school students trying to interview and study the people around them to figure out what the big deal is about love. It doesn't go particularly deep into most areas (for example, I was a bit sad that there was no lgbtq representation in any of the couples or people they talk to -- though I appreciate that the question of if so and so likes a girl or a boy does come up once) but it feels very relatable and reminds me of a lot of how I felt about things at that age too.

This young graphic novel is absolutely adorable! The artwork is simply yummy!

The characters are so real. Two friends searching for the meaning of love from the other couples in their school.

Fun, serious and definitely realistic do read this one.
