Excellent, an excellent review of the history and operations of the US marines in the Pacific in World War 2.
The war in the pacific is one of my areas of interest and I have read plenty of histories etc, with this book I still learnt something new.
Highly recommended, an enjoyable read with excellent maps and use of photographs.
If you are interested in the war in the pacific this book is for you.
