This is a gorgeous audiobook. I have been a long time fan of Dilly Court so when a chance came up to read Winter Wedding I accepted straight away. This is the second book in a series. We have Rosalind Blanchard who is still living in her castle in Rockwood who discovers her husband has been in a shipwreck and is very ill in France. Upon hearing this news she decides to go even though she is pregnant and it is almost Christmas. Dilly is excellent at creating vivid characters and at building great plots that keep you engaged. Annie Aldington is a long time favourite narrator of mine and she is the perfect complement for Dilly’s books by creating great voices for each character.
