An interesting read.
When I came across the book Feel It To Heal It I had never heard of the author or TRE (Trauma Release Experience) but I was intrigued to learn more about it as I find alternative and more natural healing methods interesting to learn about and often more preferable than pharmaceutical solutions.
The book is a good way to see all the benefits TRE has through all the people that have shared their experiences and how it helped them. The book doesn't explain TRE in detail but it still gives enough information for a general understanding and explains the science behind how and why it works.
The way the book is written shows just how much passion the author has on the subject and I like how you could feel the determination and desire to help others through the chapters. It's fascinating to see how such a simple exercise could help release so much trauma and make a big impact on a wide range of people's lives. The way we got to see stories from everyone from students to emergency service workers to prisoners shows how it is relevant for anyone even if you are sceptical at first like some were.
I enjoyed this book and learning about a new potential tool for healing though I think I'd only give it four stars as it doesn't actually show how to use this technique yourself other than directing you to the website where it costs a fortune to learn. If I'd paid for this book I'd be disappointed to not be able to put into practice what I'd read about and many other self help books of this kind have audio/video extras to try out whatever technique the book is about. Other than that an inspiring read.
