3.5 stars. This would be a sweet bedtime book to share with a beloved caregiver. A young child is told that they have an inner light and goes looking to see if they can find it. The overall tone is soft and affirming, a great message to drift off to at night.

The text dips in and out of rhyme as it goes along, and sometimes word choice and meter are sacrificed to make lines rhyme. This does affect the flow while reading the story. The illustrations, however, are lovely. They're bright, lively, and truly adorable. This is definitely worth trying for a gentle, uplifting goodnight for small children.

The illustration is just pure magic I would say.

As long as you are not reading this one you will never understand what I have experienced with this storybook.
