A fantastic conclusion to a great series. LD Lapinski has quickly become one of my auto-buy authors. Amazing representation without angst, just a matter-of-fact detail about their character. The world-building and characterisation are fantastic - it was great to meet characters old and new and find out more about Fliss's extended family. Ends are neatly tied up (after quite a lot of tension and a fair number of tissues!) and all-in-all a great conclusion to the series,

The final book in the Strangeworlds Travel Agency Trilogy follows Flick and Jonathan trying to save the multiverse! Worlds everywhere are under threat, collapsing at the click of fingers and the only people who can save them are Flick and Jonathan, daring members of the Strangeworlds Travel Agency. But what do they really know about their mysterious society? What are they protecting?

I adored the other Strangeworlds books (review for book 2 here) and the final instalment in the trilogy is definitely no different! This is a absolutely jam packed fiercely paced story that is completely enthralling. LD has created a marvellous multiverse with magical worlds and thrilling characters. There’s a really fantastic mixture of action and tender heart touching moments: enough to make you really root for the characters as they put themselves through danger.

Once more, the characters of Strangeworlds, Jonathan and Flick are immensely likeable and I also adore Avery throughout. Flick is really the important character in this story and her growth since the beginning of the series is very visible in this novel. The terrifying Seren are well realised and very much an excellent way to add threat and danger to the story.

An unputdownable conclusion to an epic trilogy! 5 out of 5 stars.

I feel like I miss something from this series. I have read them all and they have all been fairly average 3* reads for me.
My main critique with the series as a whole, is that I think it should be aged up to YA. Hear me out. Our MC is 12, she works in a travel agency, is best friends with an 18 year old and starts dating another friend. She regularly doesn't come home at night, yet her parents don't seem to worry that much. Wouldn't that all make more sense if she were 15 or 16? If I were a parent of a 12 year old, 1- I would not allow them to have a job in a travel agency. That's illegal and just plain weird. I would be extremely concerned if my 12 YO daughter was hanging out with a 18 YO boy all the time, no matter how sweet and kind he is, why is he friends with a child? I'm going to stop this rant as I could keep going, but I still maintain, age up to 15/16 and sell it as YA, it would be the exact same book.

My other critique, specific to this story, is again about the logic. The plot of this book is that there is one suitcase that the baddies are trying to find and it will destroy the multiverse. Fine. There is also the 'inbetween' the gap between worlds which no one but Flick can enter safely. So, once they find this suitcase, why not just dump it in the inbetween, where no one can find it? I guess that would have made the book too short.

I do recommend this book. I think its great for kids, and includes some fantastic rep that we should all see. I think my criticisms are based on reading this as an adult and wanting more logic, or at least some logical sense that is acceptable in the parameters of the world, but I understand that kids may not mind that.

Another great adventure perfect for year 5 children. My daughter age 10 especially enjoyed this continuation in the series. Thank you!

I absolutely adore this series, the final in the trilogy did not disappoint. I've loved seeing Flick grow in confidence, the wonderful multi-layered world Lapinski has created and LGBTQ+ representation.

What a wonderful end. Can't wait to see Lapinski's next book!

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for this free arc.

Flick' fought and saved her friends and the multiverse from the Seren before, but now they're back and stronger. With the help of those she's met, she fights them one final time.

Having not read the precious books, I was worried I'd be lost, but it the additional stories didn't impact this one too much, so it was still a fun read!

Full of magic, friendship, and adventure- I loved it!

The Secrets of the Stormforest is a great ending to the Strangeworlds trilogy. This time, Flick and her friends face more dangers than ever before and the worlds they know are on the brink of collapse - it will certainly keep you on the edge of your seat. Once again, LD Lapinski's world building was excellent and the characters' individual personalities were well developed. It is also great to see such an inclusive series and it is one I recommend to so many pupils. It is perfect for ages 9+ but if you haven't read the first two, definitely read those first. I look forward to reading what LD Lapinski writes next!

Yet another incredible addition to this series and an excellent end. I feel in love with this incredible world from the first page of book one and it just keeps getting better and better! I recommend it to everyone that will listen and I’m so sad that it’s over!

The characterisation is next level and I’ve fallen in love with them all. Flick will stay with me forever and the messages delivered about family, friendship and believing in yourself are so important.

Equal parts of magic and adventure with some edge-of-your-seat moments. I can’t put into words how superb this trilogy is and how much of a MUST READ it truly is!

The third and final book in the Strangeworlds series. Flick has developed her magical skills. With Jonathan and Avery she needs to work out a way to repel the Seven and save the multiverse. Along the way they need to find the suitcase that belonged to Elena Mercator, whilst still looking for Daniel, Jonathan’s father. There is a great finale and everything fits together nicely. This would be best read after reading books one and two.

A fantastic new instalment to the Strangeworlds series, one of my absolute fevourite middle grade fantasy series, adore the LGBTQ+ representation and love the world building in these books, LD Lapinski is second to none!

A fantastic final book in the trilogy - a great magical adventure with all of the characters working together to find a way to save their homes. Really well written with lots of drama and danger.

When this third book was released, I immediately re-read the first two in the series. I wanted to be completely caught up and reminded of all that had happened in these adventures,

The characters are exceptionally written and feel as real as can be, like a friend who lives in a suitcase, just waiting to be opened and explored. I love the dynamics between them all, and the search for answers throughout the story, Jonathan and Flick are fantastic!

This is a super set of adventures ideal for Y5 and Y6!

The conclusion of a wonderful series for the upper middle grade niche. This has been a fantastical trilogy filled with parallel worlds and magical encounters.

Now we reach an epic finale in this third instalment... and everything appears to hinge on a lost suitcase of doom! 💼💫

There were a LOT of typos and errors in this proof which derailed the enjoyment of the read a little, but it was clear that the underlying story was great.

Fresh, exciting, action-packed and richly imagined - I fell in love with this world, its characters, and L.D. Lapinski's sparkling writing from the beginning of Book 1 and this is the perfect end to a mesmerising trilogy. (I love those striking covers by Natalie Smillie too! Every single one of them!)

Can't wait to see what this author does next. One of my favourite new voices in children's fiction.

Having loved the first two Strangeworlds books, I was delighted when NetGalley gave me the opportunity to read the final part of the trilogy. Picking up from the end of book 2, Stormforest sees Flick, Jonathan and Avery battling against the Seren to try and save the multiverse from destruction. With the help of new and old friends, can Flick harness her magical powers and save those closest to her?

This was a perfect end to the trilogy; magical worlds, family, friends and adventure. I now need to buy my own copy to put on my class bookshelf!

Loved this 3rd book in the Strangeworlds series and although it takes me a few chapters to get into the magical worlds, I was soon hooked.
I don't want to give anything away but Flick, Jonathan and Avery with the help of other characters and family from the magical worlds have to overcome an enemy. Flick learns more about herself and her abilities and I loved the developing relationship between her and Avery.
Definitely left me wanting more

I approached this book with a high degree of trepidation - the concept of The Strangeworlds Travel Agency seemed ripe to go on and on so I feared that this final volume would feel rushed or unsatisfying. I needn't have worried! The book positively bubbles with references to previous books, plenty of characters reappear and relationships pay off in big ways. L. D. Lapinski has delivered on her well laid plans in spades.

The stakes are much higher this time around but it's still a joy to spend time in the company of these characters. Flick, Jonathan and Avery have experienced a lot of growth over the course of the series but they still have a long way to go. Their journeys are very much dictated by the relationships they've forged: with others and between themselves. It's here that characters introduced in the series' second installment really come into their own. Nonetheless, the story is still very much carried by the central trio.

Saying much more risks straying into spoiler territory but, rest assured, this is a confident, supreme example of a final installment. I'm excited for whatever L. D. Lapinski does next!

To have mapped out a trilogy in your mind as an author is one thing but to deliver it as well as L.D.Lapinski has is quite rare. The Strangeworlds Travel Agency is a series that I have completely fallen in love with and is one of my go to recommendations as a teacher in the classroom and this series finale does not disappoint. There is magic, adventure, heinous villains, reunions, a blossoming relationship and a battle like no other. This book felt like the perfect finish; questions are answered and there are some storylines that finally come full circle. The lead protagonist, Flick, and her friendship with Johnathon is unwaveringly believable and one that I will thoroughly miss reading about. I will enjoy sharing this series for years to come with my classes and am already looking forward to revisiting The Strangeworlds Travel Agency in years to come.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for my proof copy.

Thank you Netgalley for the preview for. I've also pre-ordered as I need to have a copy for my bookshelf!

It's an excellent ending to a wonderful trilogy. If you haven't read the first two, then stop and go get them, they really are an excellent trilogy. I'm amazed at how well they were able to finish everything up, tying up all ends.

I promise, no spoilers. In this final installment Flick gets to know her extended family, she visits other worlds and together they work on a solution to the Seren. How? Well, go buy the books to find out!

The third book in the Strangeworld series carries on smoothly from the 2nd, with Flick learning more about Tristyan and his mysterious past.
More world- hopping, and a race against time to save the whole multi-verse ensues. And Flick may be the only person capable of the magic needed to defeat the evil Seren.
Their travels take them to new worlds, and some old ones, with favourite characters making a return for the final stand.
It was a good end to the series, and enjoyable. It’s quite a long book, and some parts were slower to read, but overall a good addition to the series (I assume it may be the final book, but it is left open for more possible adventures)
