Another in a series of books that provide moderately detailed histories of specific marques, in this case BMW. Very well illustrated. Particularly good coverage of the early years of BMW. The author has a very positive view of BMW and does not address in detail the significant challenges and mis-steps the company has experienced over the years.

Picked for my better half who is car mad and it definitely triggered some nostalgic memories for him. Even I found it interesting learning about the developments and definitely looking at the pictures. Really informative, interesting and will be a great stocking filler for the hard to buy men.

I enjoyed the overview of 50 years of M history. It was informative and has rather tantalizing pictures. A pleasure for any motor enthusiasts. I liked it so much I bought a hard copy for my friend, who happens to be my BMW mechanic too.
